This is my latest and last option file this season. All duplicate players were removed for V3.8. This will affect your BAL / ML if you have bought any of the fake national players, and are updating from V3.7 or earlier. There may be some players missing / incorrect transfers or squad numbers in the German / Spanish / French / Dutch and Other teams as I have not looked at these, except to work on unlicenced kits.

Changes for V3.0 - V3.7 have been moved to post #4 below as it was getting ridiculous!

V3.9 Update: 08/04/09.

All England League transfers completed / squad numbers corrected / updated.
Added Macheda and Martin to Manchester United (removed de Laet), Spearing at Liverpool, Podolski finally at Bayern Munich!
New England home kits added, away kits now unlicenced.
New kits: Everton Yellow away; Stoke new GK kits; Wigan / West Brom home.
Many other small tweaks, such as updated or reassigned boots / updated England and Scotland squads etc.

Many European league transfers completed (not revised squad numbers yet though).
New Away and GK home kits for Spurs / New GK away kit for Everton.

Many new players, overwritten fake nationals. Most are from BATE Borisov and Anthorsis Famagusta.

V3.0 - 22/11/08

My focus as before has been on the England League, here are all the main changes:

* Team names still in CAPS (I quite like it), player names all lowercase.
* League / Cup / Stadium names corrected.
* Some player apps adjusted (but no stats altered).
* Changed all England League captains armbands to black/white/black stripes as in real life (except Man United & Liverpool).
* Added and changed / arranged sponsor logo's where appropriate.
* Done back name / number colours to appear more realistic in-game.
* Redone some emblems - Most are now 128 colour and better quality.
* Given all national teams their logo's and updated kits.
* Edited England League club flags to team colours / assigned suitable designs.
* Checked all England League and national team kits, redone many - too many to list here.
* All England League player names have been checked / corrected and properly spaced on the back of their kits (post any errors, I will try and fix any errors you find!).
* Classic players have real names and back names correctly spaced, and nice retro kits (inc old french / dutch logo's).
* Bayern Munich / Werder Bremen over PES and WE United, kits corrected.
* About 80,000-ish PES Points and all shop items unlocked.


V3.1 Update - 28/11/08

* Fixed Blackburn Rovers home kit number / name colour error.
* New Stoke City home kit, keepers kits and redone kit sponsor / font.
* Changed Chelsea's Boswinga position to SB (registered) WB, SMF.
* Fixed 2 stadium names (La Bombonera and Estadio Nacional).
* Added Classic Germany kit logo.
* Fixed Chelsea away kit sponsor colour error.
* Tweaked Osasuna's kits.
* Slightly updated boot designs.
* New 128-colour emblem for Sunderland.
* All England League keepers now have long sleeves (except Bolton's Jaaskeleinen who has usually has short ones in real life).


V3.2 Update - 30/11/08

* Fixed Bolton Wanderers home shorts error - now navy not white.
* A few more minor fixes / kit tweaks & here and there.
* Reassigned some stadiums to England League teams for added realism.
* 99999 PES points, all shop items unlocked as before.


V3.5 Update - 15/12/08

* All “Umbro” England League keeper kits have been updated, now look far more realistic in-game.
* Added SBOBET logo and text for West Ham (without the big box). Small change to home shirt collar too - now correct.
* Newcastle keeper kits redone / home shirt now has blue stripe on collar.
* Boylesports logo redone and home / away kits tweaked for Sunderland.

* Tweaks to Arsenal / Everton home kits. Hull away kit now correct.
* WBA and Fulham emblems tweaked, some flags tweaked.
* Almeria's kit sponsor corrected (credit Jono).
* Improved England League captain's armbands.
* Senderos now spelt correctly (spotted that one in JoeH's thread - cheers!)
* Suitable boots assigned to England League team players, except Hull, Stoke and WBA (not on Barcio's thread lists - to do for V3.7).


V3.7 Update - 31/12/08 **Last Update until the close of the Transfer Window**

* Some minor kit tweaks, eg Boro Away.
* Allocated boots for Hull, Stoke and WBA.
* A few apps done: L Young, and a few Man United players (Credit to PESFAN for the info).

That will just be transfers and a few possible kit changes though, no new teams. I will not change too much as I don't want people to have to restart their BAL or ML games.

Anyone who wants to leave (constructive) comments on the file please do so and I will make sure it gets changed for what will be V4.

So much for no updates until February then... V3.6 is scheduled for release on Christmas Eve... already redone Boro keeper kits, Hull Away kit and shrunk down West Ham's new sponsor logo, and a few other adjustments. Over 1400 downloads now, so someone must have some suggestions for me - so get 'em posted!.. if no-one tells me I can't make this file any better!

I have just been informed (on another forum) that the US version of the file doesn't work, it seems that changing the file name from BESLES-55406P2K9OPT to BASLUS-21821P2K9OPT isn't enough... I will investigate this further but leave the links up for now to see if anyone can suss it out!

You need a max drive, x-port or a modded PS2 (to use bin/cue). I have a spare max drive if you want to PM me...

Think I have found the error... I needed to change the BASLUS text twice in PS2 save builder (I changed the file but forgot the root ID)... can someone in the US try this new file and let me know ASAP if it works or not please!

Quick update, I have done all transfers, and created a few players so far this transfer window, some squad numbers are correct, but not all. I could be persuaded to release an up-to-date V3.8 if there is enough interest around about the 16th... Removed all duplicate players and replaced them with players from smoki's UML option file, these are: all players not in game from Anthorsis Famagusta and BATE Borisov, and a few players from the Hertha Berlin and Wolfsberg's squads. This is a far better option than leaving "unregistered" slots... should I fill up the remaining "edited player" slots with even more players though? Answers on a postcard to...

Forget that just post it here - I need input!

At the minute my Eredivise contains: Wolves, Birmingham, Reading, Preston, Sheffield United, some German and Dutch teams.

It was supposed to be a Euro mini-league of some sort lol. I'll have to do a lot of it in-game if I do it myself, as I'm not that great using the editor.

Unfortunately that is the best I can do, there is no option for a thick line down the sleeves using the in-game editor. The other option is to have a really thin white line down the sleeve which just doesn't look at all right imo, as I have seen this on other OFs.

You can't do this on PES2009, and it wasn't possible on 2008 either. The last one this could be done with was PES6 i'm afraid sorry! I have just included different coloured boots to approximate the colours worn by the players, and this also applies to updating the balls.

If I am wrong, can someone post a link to a thread which tells me how, and I will look into it!

Yes, V3.9 will be released at the end of March. This will fix some errors from V3.8 and improve some kits. That will be the last this season.

I am thinking about doing a new file (V4) ready for next season to be released at the start of August and updated with transfers for a September release, with newly promoted teams in the 5 main leagues, but I am only 50/50 sure at the moment.

Send the data from a PS2 to the PSP, then connect the PSP to a PC, and copy the folder "ULES011760013000" and all it's contents to the PC, then forward the file to me or host it and post up a link.

I don't have access to a PSP so I can't do it myself!

Quick question: the reason I stopped working on JoeH's file was because the data would corrupt on export (by which I mean loads of stuff would happen, incorrect player data etc) which happens everytime I use it. The original V4.X was ok, so it was on export that the data became corrupted. This has conitnued meaning I can't work on it at all without ruining the data (tried re-installing and other changes but to no avail); just wondering if you've ever encountered any similar problems.

Anyway, my problems aside, your new OF is great (particularly the kits, as ever) and well done on all the hard work you have put in over the last months.

I have had no trouble with corrupt data so can't really help. I am planning a summer project to update the existing teams and add promoted teams to the leagues for season 09/10, but this will be a really big job!

I am about 80% decided that V4.0 will be due end of July / early August... to include promoted teams in all the leagues, and as many player updates as I can manage! Further updates planned for mid August and early September to allow for transfers before the deadline to be included.

Hello chrispele, I was trying the v3.9 USA bin/cue file but it doesn't work. I mean, it freezes while loading the HDD Menu.. it just stops.. and the HDD Menu never appears.. please help!

I have had no reports of the bin/cue USA version not working until now... can anyone else confirm whether it works or doesn't? As I have a PAL copy I can't test this myself!

Well, i tried 3 times burning the bin/cue option file but it didn't work. Instead, I tried with another bin/cue option file from JoeH's and it worked.. :S
If anyone else try the bin/cue USA version, please help..

Hello again,

I tried again ur USA bin/cue file but same results. However, I started searching the internet to see what happened.. and I found a way to make a new bin/cue.. so I decided to make one bin/cue file with both PAL and USA .npo files and IT WORKED!!!

This is a V3.9 NTSC-PAL bin/cue file.. and you can copy both .npo from the CD to the MC and play any PES version, PAL (BESLES) or NTSC (BASLUS), anytime with the same Option File..

thanx dude for the updated OF for psp i love it :D oh i think theres sumthing wrong tho u need to fix after downloading the psp version the pes shop isnt fully unlocked and theres 0 pes points but i thought version 3.0 or watever had fully unlocked pes shop and 80 000 ish pes points but i got none and shop locked . Might wanna try it again or add it in for the next one :D Cheers mate

I did the bin/cue version of the V4 beta and it works very well.... There are a lot of missing transfers, and I supose thats cause is only a beta OF.

If you need help searching for the completed transfers let me know, and I can help you with some clubs, searching club by club for the news player list.

I don't know how to do the option file but maybe I can help searching information...

josephgreentree over at evo-web is handling all transfers for me, and he is updating Euro teams also. Thanks to him V4 will be more thoroughly done, as I was only going to do EPL transfers... No euro promoted teams though, just the EPL, welcoming Birmingham, Burnley and Wolves! Just waiting on Wigan's away kit and Burnley's keeper kits now, but these will be updated in a later version (V4.1 or 4.2).

Should be out in 24 to 48 hours in .max / .xps and bin/cue. No NTSC version planned. I just need someone to do me a PSP version...
