DVD rom CD.

Just a little help if possible. I have a CD i want to put onto my pc. BUt its a CD/DVD rom. And my pc doesnt play DVDs yet it has all the specs to hold the program i want to upload. How do i go about sticking it onto my pc?

Iv tryed uploading the program onto another pc that does play the DVD and then copying the files over to my pc. But it seems you can only upload onto one pc.

Lets clear this up: You have a DVD but your computer doesn't have a DVD drive.

Whilst copying the files and transferring them could theoretically work, I'm not surprised you've come across a problem. If the volume of data on the DVD is greater than a CD can hold - and I'd presume it is - then you're stuck.

Copying a DVD (which may have security) into various images files and re-burning those files to multiple CDs is likely to get quite messy as it is filled with various pitfalls. Plus its illegal with copyrighted material.
