I'm looking for 4, 8, 16 people to join this...I don't mind.

Instead of a league, it'll be done as a tournament/knockout style game. If this works well, I'll look into starting a league/doing other tournaments later.

The ins and outs of the tourny info will be posted (edited into this post) once we have confirmed interest.

I'm off work until Tuesday now, so really, I'd like to get this thing started ASAP. As soon as tonight if indeed possible, even if it's unlikely.

What do you need?

Just say "In." and say which team you'd like to play as. You may pick any Premier League team that isn't one of the supposed "Big Four". So no Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool.

I'll start by claiming Man City.

Also, if you're going to be in, it'd be nice for you to PM me your MSN/Windows Live Address soon after, so we can be in contact quicker.

That's ok, I'm not off work until Friday now (Boxing Day) so it wouldn't start until at least then.

To be honest, I just want to test the water to see if one of these tournaments can be done successfully to begin with. I'll look to expand it if it does.

Why dont you start this in the New Year? Get the people together and arrange the dates for Begining of Jan. Miggy can be included as well then, but not as Spurs, haha.

I might not be able to do it during Christmas and New Year also.

To be honest, I just want to test the water to see if one of these tournaments can be done successfully to begin with. I'll look to expand it if it does.

My only reservation is that limiting teams to EPL reduces the number of equal teams, Manchester City, Newcastle and Aston Villa are very good and have a lightning fast attack that isn't matched by other teams. Once Everton, Tottenham and Portsmouth have been taken the rest of the teams are unlikely to be able to contain their opponents.

If we do it in the new year I will take part.

That strike was pretty special and fully deserved I might add!

I think RB14 might be out of this as well, as he's having troubles with his internet and currently cannot be online. I'm still unsure at how long he'd be offline for, but, he says it could be a upto a month.

Seems my PS3 is being delivered tomorrow so hopefully it's fixed and will be working when I try it over the weekend.
