Alreet lads, I need a little advice on some DVD burning software. I have Xilisoft Ripper, which seems to do it's job well, but has no burn functions. I am sure Nero will do the job but haven't had it for a while and not sure what new stuff is out there. I have a very basic program called Arc DVD Copy, but to be blunt, it's shit.
I'm want to edit any clips downloaded, or ripped from disc and be able to burn it to DVD with menus and stuff. I have a few conversion programs, but have no DVD software. Working on a recent Samsung laptop with Vista.
Any suggetions welcome. Thanks.

Yes of course don.
I want take bits from the f1 2008 season review, which i got for christmas, edit a 5 or 6 minute video for my phone. and also make little father ted, alan partridge clips.
and put videos made on my phone to dvd.
I have some editing programs, but no dvd suite to publish it.

I use Winavi to convert the video file to a dvd format, and then i use Convertx to dvd, to burn the dvd.

For editing I use a combination of Windows Movie Maker and Camtasia

CovertXtoDVD is what you need.

It takes about a half hour to rip a movie onto a disk, gives you a menu aswell as chapters. You cannot edit DVDs though but you can add alot of Movies/Clips to one disk.
