What's the best anti visrus software?

I'm buying a new laptop and it comes with Norton. Is it any good?

Norton is shit. If you're going for the paid one, try NOD32 or Kaspersky. Or if you want to save your money, go for AVG or Avira. ;)

AVG, Avira or Avast as the free solution. I'd pick AVG over Avira as I feel more secure with it.

i use avira.ive had others on but avira seems to be the only one the catches anything,and it seems to use less memory than AVG.

I use AVG free from the net.. .works pretty good and doesn't slow your computer down like norton does.

Im using Avast at the momment very good updates every 3 days with a new virus database which is very good for a free anti virus
