I'm pretty sure there are some Blink fans out there.

On their official website it says that they're making a new album and something about summer 2009 which I'm guessing is when it will come out.

I was a huge fan when I was younger as I got older I guess I started growing out of them. Still think they're cool guys and their music brings back many happy memories for me.

Good luck to them.

Their spin offs absolutely blew. (Apart from Travis Barkers remixes which turned shit songs into slightly less shit songs)

AVA - worst band ever - Tom Delonge trying to be Bono

+44 - worst band ever - basically sounded like McFly/Busted

Blink worked for them. Fun punk, they should stick to it.

What about Boxcar Racer? I thought that one-off album was at least ok.

I was a big fan when I was younger but I don't know how they can go back to being the way they were now there in their 30s and are Dads.

Should be interesting. Travis is one of my favourite drummers anyway.

I used to listen to Blink everyday when I was in my early teenage years. I was absolutely gutted when I heard they broke up.

The spin-offs bands were alright. (+44) had some decent songs like Chapter 13 and 155, while Angels and Airwaves had Start the Machine, Sirens, Secret Crowds.

Good news, I guess. It's a shame that they only started talking to each other after the Travis' plane crash.
You've got to feel sorry for the other band members of both (+44) and AVA, though.

I liked that one song by +44...sommat about "i'll be there when your heart stops beating"....I thought that was a catchy tune...

Massive Blink 182 fan though, used to listen to them all the time

I do hope the new album won't be a failure.

Tom looks a bit porky.

Depends what your expecting. I'd imagine it won't be like another Dude Ranch, probably similar to their last album.

Failure as in terms of sales. I'm expecting it to sound like the Untitled album.

True, but I think it still had the blink 182 formula...

It's when they try to break out of that mould that they become poor.

Box Car were epic, the only good thing to come from the split.

I'm not sure I'm that bothered about seeing them live, there will obviously be a tour.

I'm nearly fed up of these money spinning reformations now.

Yeah Boxcar were a side project Tom and Travis. Although it must have started something...

I've listened to Blink in the past, I liked them quite a bit. Nice fun punk. I never actually downloaded one of their albums though.

Which is the best one to get, out of all the albums they've brought out? With all the popular, greatest hits...

I was expecting Travis's face to be all burnt...was it just his arms and legs or something?

Dude Ranch is probably the best, Enema of the State made them more mainstream and Take Off Your Pants and Jacket had some cool songs in there.

I didn't even realise they had split up. I thought they were just taking some time out to try other things, with plans to release another album as Blink 182. Not that I care, really. I think they're average at best.

Not when you have Tom who doesn't even know how to sing. He always mumbles the words.

Used to listen to Cheshire Cat non-stop about 6-7 years ago.

Hopefully their new album won't be too EMO like the last one, but seeing them is a must simply for their older stuff.

Always like listening to a bit of Blink; their greatest hits album is proof enough of how good they were, so hopin they can recapture a bit 0f what they had.

edit - On the topic of Blink side projects, I have to say my favourite is Transplants, whcih only features Travis but they're feckin a'.

The greatest hits album only consist of singles. There are/were many good songs that wasn't include, such as Stockholm Syndrome, Asthenia, Going Away to College, etc

Love the Transplants. Hope they haven't stopped that project completely.
