tested by myself only.
Download
5.1to7.2.04.rar from Lomungtung's ftp- in pes3(retail) folder in the 5.1.04 folder........use ftp client eg flash fxp so you can resume if disconnected.

Contents of 5.1.04 (i.e. No new chants or music)
Georghinios updated option file as over.afs (part of ppf) -includes ALL new transfers.
(but ideally use an xport and the included in rar modified xport file.......modified=has Latvia,default kits/flags (Cheers Zyg),fixed team names eg Liverpool called Coolsingel to allow correct chants,correct home ground eg Valencia play in there correct stadium)
Edited Menu's in ML from Cujo- so FA cup,Premiership etc are stated
Referee- real names
Stadium real names in text.
Stadium update- Munich day/dry is snowed in
New boots- originally by Biker Jim
Nike Neo Geo ball-blue.
New Presenting Ladies.

Apply after 5.1.04 to same bin
(because the ppf is to the bin , it adds the sles and over.afs so no extra patching needed for the sles/over.afs-thus not included)

I have been trying to download the 5.1.04, it is 134mb and takes takes such a long time. Is there any quicker site? I guess once I have downloaded the 5.1.04 then i'll download the 7.2.04 patch. If anyone has a quicker site that would be appreciated.

You can download the 7.2.04 first if you want and it is a much smaller file which is about 18.5MB. But you still have to apply it after the 5.1.04 main patch.
Some of the PES3 patches may also be available at http://welshfootball.users.btopenworl d.com but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment so I don't think they are on there.

5.1.04 takes 19 hours to download because I don't have broadband. I can't get broadband in my area so is there any chance it will take less to download somewhere else. I have tried the welshfootball link.
7.2.04 takes about 2 hours to download.

Might be an option to ask a friend who does have broadband to download the patches and burn them onto a CD for you and then you can apply them on your PC to your image.

What option should you use for this or is it already preset? Like, are there any option files which have the correct transfers, commmentary name just for JB7.2.04?

It might be inside the rar file of the main patch itself.

if i used the option file of my choice rather than the option file from the patch wouldn't that mean that the kits would be wrong. the option file that i use has all premiership teams and the patch probably won't have the kits etc. for the extra prem. teams. Does this matter or am I just wrong?

Option file has to be for a patched game - meaning all kits for all teams must be set to Default or they will appear as the Edited versions you created.

Okay.. now here's a question for all of you about jonboyo's patches.
I just successfully ripped my PES3, verified it by burning a copy and playing it on my NTSC ps2 with a slide card and Swap Magic. ((Thanks to the Idiots guide!!))
I've been hunting here for the latest and greatest patch. All I hear are wonderful things about jonboyo and his patches. I went to lomungtung and found where the patches ae for the ps2 PES3.
I dont see either of the 5.1.04 or 7.2.04 patches. I did find a whole slew of other patches, most of which look to be updates that you need to apply on top of one another.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I assume the I need to patch it first with the jb.1.12.03anyripkitpatch and then use the 1.12to8.1.04 patch.
Am I actually correct here?

Get into lomungtung and then go to the following subfolders:
/PES3 Patch (PS2 Version)/5.1.04/
and inside there are the patches you want.
Basically - Enter lomungtung,
Enter the PES3 Patch (PS2 Version) folder,
Then enter the 5.1.04 folder.
Choose the file you want and begin the transfer. Queue the other files you want and they will begin when the previous one completes. Sorted.

Well you could just insert them yourself using afs explorer as i did and i edited the presidents suits to men in black suits LOL

what chants are in the jonboyo patch. Ive heard the milan, inter, liverpool and arsenal chants but none others. I thought the man utd chants were in there but they dont seem to be.
Any ideas?

You need to set the callname to 'Parma' to get the Man U chants I believe.

its a great patch, the first one i have ever got to work for me, but why isnt the ball blue??
really hard to see the ball when you play in the snow. :rolleyes:

GFK, you know the chants, are they already in the patch. And do you have to make the right callname yourself or is it already done in the option file you get?
In the option file already I believed.

I thought u could only get a limited number of chants for teams.
That llist I posted is only for WE7I not PES3, i didnt read it properly the post from ash but now I see I posted it myself. SO only WE7I is that list.

I think jb isn't making any more for PES3 so you may have to import it yourself.
I don't seem to be seeing Old Trafoord and stuff in the menu text. Only Trad Brick Stadium!

U have to turn all badges off ur option file because with the patched kits u get the badges any way but with the normal kits u dont.
So....... just turn all badges off kits.

i get how to do the patching and stuff, but i got a question about when you first make pes3 from dvd to cd,
when you first copy files from your disk to the hard drive did it say you had errors or that it couldnt read it and you had to ignore it for it to work, cos im wondering y it wont work for me, is it cos my disk is scratched or something and the files are a bit messed up

you cant download it as an option file via xport you have to patch the game. sorry to dissapoint.
check the stickies in the General editing if you want learn more about patching, you need a chipped console or a slide card to play patched games btw

They are no longer at the ftp so you're too late. There should be other pes3 patches in there.
