Why is their defence so solid???

Anyway who's interested in this new game???

Not me, I'm hopelessly devoted to pro evo3! I've never liked the quick cash in games that ea churn out for every tournament. There'll be African cup of nations 2004 next, Carling cup 2005. EA sports presents....the only official game of the intertoto cup!

Whats with your sig bazhilder? Are you proud of that moment?

i like it! It was a great moment, that's why we like Keown!

lol..Arsene has turned his fans into yobs like Keown..whatever makes you happy.

BazHilder
11-02-2004, 01:06
Yeah it was a great moment actually, its the only thing keown can do anymore. As we saw at boro he can't play football anymore.

The reason I have that pic is cos i couldn't find any of van nistelrooy diving or gary neville hurling abuse at the officials.

Maybe one of your captain swearing at the goodison park family section would be good though. Or your star defender out on a shopping trip instead of going to a drugs test.

Giggsy11
11-02-2004, 01:12
none of those things are worse than what your whole team did!

BazHilder
11-02-2004, 01:15
Yeah and we were punished for it. About 10x more than if it had been the other way around. I mean can you imagine Keane being sent off for not touching Henry? Never.

I can actually..the intent was there...Keane got a second yellow for swing a punch at shearer a few seasons ago. so there..;)

BazHilder
11-02-2004, 01:25
Was vieira's only a 2nd yellow? I actually can't remember, I thought it was a straight red. Henry wouldn't jump away and look at the ref like rvn did though. Pires would but not Henry.

Giggsy11
11-02-2004, 01:36
I never mentioned henry...RVN did nowt wrong in my opionion..he jumped out the way which is fair does in my book..and of course he is gonna look at the ref after the kick out from veria.

Im proud of it. The first time someone stood up to man uniteds shit.

Im gonna use the pic on my avatar too if its ok with bazhilder :D

BazHilder
11-02-2004, 18:52
Yeah of course its ok, the more the merrier!

Thanks go to mutu for finding me the pic in the first place.

Pefect caption by the way!

And a ban is the reward.

Why is Lauren's the longest and not Keown's???

asher b
11-02-2004, 23:22
I thought so too :D

I dont think they should have been banned at all. Don't call me a glorified gooner because dispite my avatar im a Leeds fan, I'm a neutral in this argument ;)

Keown didnt raise his hands to horsey so why should he be punished at all? He only jumped into him and pushed him about a bit.

BazHilder
11-02-2004, 23:33
Come on, imagine if united did that to leeds, you'd be screaming for suspensions. I know i would. They deserved to be banned and thats coming from a real arsenal fan.

Maybe i should change my sig to a pic of leeds!

asher b
11-02-2004, 23:39
yeah but that's cos I hate man u.

i think keown was justified to do what he did and always will :D

if you want to keep the same sort of theme, ill try and find you a pic of smithy fouling a man united player. there will be one somewhere ;)

BazHilder
11-02-2004, 23:51
There'll be one of him fouling nearly every player in the league probably!

I think I'm gonna keep mine as it is. I like seeing it everywhere.

asher b
11-02-2004, 23:54
Me too.

I might have a look for one for me though :D

and I hope you're not implying smithy is dirty ;)

BazHilder
12-02-2004, 00:00
Of course not! Why one earth would I say that?!

asher b
12-02-2004, 00:03
cos he is.. but he means well :)

he was born in the same village as me (rothwell)

random fact of the day :)

BazHilder
12-02-2004, 00:17
Well for Leeds but ill for whoever's on the receiving end!

jag87
12-02-2004, 03:08
two people with the same sigs!, sweet! Any way ash, you given up on leeds?

asher b
12-02-2004, 03:15
if you watch him, he's changed his attitute a bit. he doesnt get sent off or booked as much now, and he sometimes helps them up when he's in a good mood. :D

no i havent jag. just the arsenal badge is sexay ;) and they're my second team.

these "spin off" games have little or no depth, look at WC2002,a lame excuse for a game if ever there was one.

i'm glad Konami dont fall for the quick sell route. that's why PES has always been so good, they put all of their effort and props into one game for the year, not split it up into 2-3 versions.

like someone said earlier, whats next, African nations 2004?

D'you reckon this new Euro 2004 game has the same controls as crappy FIFA 2004?

kneros
17-02-2004, 04:59
I'm thinking it will. I am just way too frustrated about the last FIFA installment to be optimistic about this one.

There is absolutely ZERO in the one on one game in FIFA04 and most likely that will continue with this one.

To tell the truth, there are a couple of moves to pull off, and if you're timing is right you can do them even on world class level, but absolutely none of it compares to the individual freedom in WE/PE. In the end it plain sucks.

Here's to a fully licensed WE 8.

HAHAHA!!!!The only thing they are focusing on is how to make much money. That is their concern. They are irrelevant about footie games..No talk about that.Go "EA sports" go for another classic game....HAHAHA.
I only feel sadly about those poor football gamers that support this kind of games..And they are saying that Conami' s gameplay is very difficult to learn!!!Mercy....! :D

What is the point of them releasing Euro 2004, because its just going to be the same as F*fa 2004, ecept with a diffrent cover and the new international kits like brazil, england ect...

is that true? what a load of bollocks!

i was talking to a mate at college today who said fifa is better than 'shitty pes3' and 'you can do your own runs its class' so i said you cant aim the shots properly.

his reply?

'just press circle and it goes in' :D:D:D

that, and the quote about pes being 'hard' what the fuck, even i can play it! also the fact giggsy plays it, shows that fifa fans are just retarded kids who were deprived of a real growing up.

only messing mark but come on the shooting is shit.

and i look forward to watching euro 2004 fall on its arse. the only good thing about fifa is the licenced teams which wont even be in euro 2004..

Giggsy11

[QUOTE]

It is hard if you haven't played it. I've had mates who've played it for the first time and they say they can't shoot or kick the ball, and I'm like "it's cause your'e 5 yards away from the ball" you've gotta time things unlike fifa where you press a button and it goes in the back of the net.
