I reckon this will be one of the worst Wrestlemania's of all time. Might stay up till the Taker/Michaels match but I'll probably be gone after that.

Jimmy Snuka is back? :w00t
I reckon this will be one of the worst Wrestlemania's of all time. Might stay up till the Taker/Michaels match but I'll probably be gone after that.
It's bound to be better than the last 2 years. I'm guessing Taker/Michaels will be 7th or 8th on the card so you may as well watch until the end.
I'll be watching on Monday (afternoon or evening). Even though I'm capable of staying up for it live, I'd rather get a better quality picture and keep my sleeping pattern as regular as possible.
Long and pointless full preview will be posted by me in time for morning.
Good to see there is at least 1 Hardcore type of match. I'm just debating whether I want to even buy this, because I absolutely hate the streams online and the shit picture quality. Anything less than mint quality would only annoy me to be honest.

Well in that case you should buy it. I can watch them on a live stream, some are good and some are tolerable. I can still make out what's going on.
I'll probably be buying it since I have never bought the last 2 WrestleManias (not worth it) and I am kind of psyched for this one.
There's only 3, maybe 4 matches I'd be interested in watching (MITB, Taker-Michaels, Matt-Jeff and Orton-HHH). Will probably just try and watch them online the day after.
I'm expecting good matches from the Orton vs HHH, Jeff vs Matt, MITB and Colons vs Miz and Morrison.
I'm expecting a **** - ***** match from Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels.
Mickey Rourke will some way be invoolved in the match, I'm not sure whether he only stands in the ring with the legends at the end or if he helps them beat Jericho.
JBL's history making thing should be interesting, even if the match won't be.
Miss WrestleMania...Well I don't really care, tbh. Be good to see Trish again. Don't think Lita is appearing, but it'd be cool if she did.
I'm not really looking forward to the triple threat match though. I'd be happy with just Edge vs Cena. I know it's been done many times, but it's a match that delivers and has a bigger feeling than the current match which involves the Big Show. No offence to Paul Wight. I just hope this will somehow lead to the end of Edge and Vickie.
I'm sure they'll be some backstage segments too. Not sure whether they'll be bad or good, but we'll see.
All in all, I'm looking forward to the show. Will be watching it with my brother, so if it sucks, then at least I have someone to bitch about it with.

Cant wait for this, got a mate coming over and we are watching it live...just hoping I wont ruin my sleeping patterns for the rest of the week.
Wisely taken Monday off work, but I need to devise a strategy to sleep well and restore my body clock back to usual!
Yeah, decided I'll buy it. Fuck it, I'm off for 3 weeks so it's not as if I have to be up early or whatever. I'll be revising these holidays so I may as well treat myself.
As long as someone goes through the announcer's table I'll be satisfied.

Just reading about Kerry Von Erich crying, and Flair and Steamboat hugging and sobbing almost set me off, I imagine I might be joining them upon seeing the show.
Here's my full two cents. Why I've bothered I do not know. I guess I want to see how much I get correct.

Inter-Continental Championship
JBL© vs. Rey Mysterio
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9601282
What I want: Rey Mysterio
What I think: JBL
These two faced off in singles competition last week with Mysterio picking up the victory. That is enough to suggest to me JBL will win the rematch. I also don't believe JBL will lose the title having won it just a few weeks ago.
What to look out for: How many drop toe holds Rey performs to set up a 619.
Michael Cole moment: “1,2-we-may-have-a-new-champion!-no, kick out at 2”
Interesting fact: First Inter-Continental Title defence in 7 years, since WrestleMania X8.
Rumour mill (in white): -JBL aims to 'make history'. Speculation suggests this could be the first male to retire while being a champion.
-Rey will be drafted to SmackDown.
Money In The Bank Ladder Match
CM Punk vs. Mark Henry vs. Kane vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian vs. Kofi Kingston vs. MVP vs. Finlay
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9615058
Want: Christian
Think: MVP
I was definitely thinking MVP would win until he beat Shelton a couple of weeks ago to win the U.S. Title. I've still placed him as favourite, but Christian/Shelton are right up there with him. Anyone else would shock me.
Look out for: Mark Henry attempting to climb a ladder.
Michael Cole moment: “Ohhhh my”
Interesting fact: Shelton has been in all but one Money In The Bank matches (WM23).
Rumour: -Vince isn't particularly keen on Christian.
-JBL’s historic moment will be to buy the MITB contract.
3-On-1 Handicap Elimination Match
Chris Jericho vs. Legends (Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat & Jimmy Snuka)
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9652330
Want: Chris Jericho
Think: Legends
Not a match I'm looking forward to, as I expect it to be sloppy and anti-climatic. One of the match outcomes I'm most certain of, but I don't know who will get eliminated from the Legends team. Snuka first I think.
Look out for: Mickey Rourke's involvement.
Michael Cole moment: “Vintage Ric Flair”.
Interesting fact: Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat & Jimmy Snuka’s last WrestleMania matches were at XII, IV & VII respectively.
Rumour: None.
Unified Tag Team Championship Lumberjack Match
Carlito & Primo vs. John Morrison & The Miz
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9592030
Want: John Morrison & The Miz
Think: John Morrison & The Miz
Should be solid, if not spectacular. Lumberjacks are unneccesary and just there to add everyone not participating to the card, so I expect no big involvement from them. Carlito and Primo have both picked up singles victories against their counter-parts more recently than vice versa, so I'm thinking the tide will be turned here.
Look out for: John Morrison's torso.
Michael Cole moment: “WWE Universe”
Interesting fact: First time since WrestleMania XX the WWE Tag Team Titles have been on the line.
Rumour: WWE are extremely high on M&M.
Extreme Rules Match
Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9566536
Want: Jeff
Think: Matt
Should be a cracker for entertainment rather than wrestling. I see this feud continuing past WrestleMania which is why I believe Matt will win in this instance.
Look out for: Huge bump towards the end.
Michael Cole moment: “That modified [move]”
Interesting fact: Jeff Hardy has never won at WrestleMania.
Rumour: None.
25-Diva 'Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9748824
Want: Santino Marella
Think: Santino. If he's not in, Trish. If she's not either, Beth.
Good for a bit of nostalgia, and probably the best diva match they could have produced. I'm not expecting an upset, so if none of my above mentions win, then it's likely to be one of the other top rated divas like Melina or Mickie.
Look out for: Mae Young's puppies should they decide to go for a walk.
Michael Cole moment: *Insert forced laugh*
Interesting fact: Batista has shagged them all.
Rumour: -Trish Stratus will be taking part in the American Dancing On Ice, so will not be featuring.
-Lita will be at an event hosted by Booker T, so will also not feature.
World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena vs. Edge© vs. The Big Show
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9728758
Want: Edge
Think: John Cena
Another match I can't say I'm all that looking forward to. The winner of the match supposedly gets 'Vickie Guerrero's heart' too, which leads me to believe Cena will win because he's the only competitor of the three who doesn't want it.
Look out for: Commentary orgasms when John Cena lifts Big Show.
Michael Cole moment: “Not like this dammit!”
Interesting fact: -Big Show could become the first person to have held WCW, WWE, ECW and World Heavyweight titles.
-John Cena has been in a title match in every one of his WrestleMania matches.
Rumour: Edge will be taking time off soon to fully heal a niggling injury.
Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9473426
Want: Undertaker
Think: Undertaker
Match of the night, and possibly longest of the night. I hope to see it ended with a tombstone rather than a hell's gate/gogoplata submission manouver.
Look out for: Michael's front flip onto the turnbuckle when Irish whipped there.
Michael Cole moment: “Undertaker is the best pure striker in all WWE”.
Interesting fact: Undertaker is 16-0 at WrestleMania (as if you didn’t know).
Rumour: -A t-shirt with Undertaker’s symbol cutting through a heart and saying 17-0 was quickly taken off wwe.com.
-JBL's 'historic moment' will be to cost Undertaker his streak.
WWE Championship
Triple H© vs. Randy Orton
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/9472890
Want: Orton
Think: Orton
A feud we've seen before but this time it's much more emotional. I expect this feud to go on until at least Backlash, so I am thinking an Orton win with rematches at the next 2 PPVs. I can't see a clean victory here truth be told.
Look out for: Involvement from the McMahons and Priceless.
Michael Cole moment: “That viper Randy Orton”.
Interesting fact:- 4 of the last 5 WrestleMania main events have ended in submission.
-A heel hasn't won the main event since 2000 (unless you count X-Seven when Stone Cold turned heel).
Rumour: None.
Won't let me rep you, but good post mate. Is the Hall Of Fame induction on again at all during today ? I want a good little pre-Wrestlemania show and would love to see Stone Cold again, and if it's only going to last an hour than that's sound.
Nice read there, Guillermo. I love the Cole moments and will be looking forward to some vintage quotes!
Hall Of Fame highlights are on at 10:30pm on Sky Sports 3.

Just phoned my old man who is in England and I think he knew I was going to ask him and he has given me the all clear.
Loved Steamboat's speech, and seeing him and Flair locking up again. Austin's was good, until he handed a beer to Cena.

Me and a big group of lads are popping down the pub and watching in live tonight.
And great post Guill. The only rumour I've heard on the legends match is: that Austin comes down as the fourth gauntlet entrant after Jericho batters the pensioners
Unlikely, though would make my day.
That stuff about the Undertaker T-shirts was pretty interesting though.
Loved Steamboat's speech, and seeing him and Flair locking up again. Austin's was good, until he handed a beer to Cena.
Like it or not, Cena is a mega draw and is the biggest person in Pro Wrestling today.
And to be honest, you can't argue with it, when his merchadise sales is getting upto Austin and Hogan level.
Tbh, Austin didn't need to pass the beer (which was a symbol of the torch) to Cena, as Cena has had it and been running with it for a long time. But it was still a moment that will go down in history.
Wahey, nice interest in this threas already.
A forewarning though...
PLEASE don't discuss streams tonight. I won't be around to mod the thread, and Sweey might just ban whoever posts links straight away.
I know the usual guys who post in the wrestling threads know not to, but this is for others who may not. :)
Anyway, I think it'll be good tonight. I'm looking forward to most of the matches. As already said, the last two WM's weren't really spectacular, and their cards looked better than this. I have a feeling we'll be pleasantly surprised tonight.
That said, I'll probably have to watch the repeat tomorrow, due to Virgin Media customers being unable to watch it properly, live, for the last 3 years. Last year it cut out as Finlay made his entrance for the first match, and didn't come back on for me. And the year before, the screen was black all the way through. I blame Sky for purposely encrypting VM's pictures. ¬_¬

Legends match is the only one I'm looking forward to. I want to see if Steamboat comes out topless or not - its probably for the best all round that he doesn't. And it goes without saying that Piper and Snuka should put their tits away.
I don't reckon the Legends match will be a good one, I highly doubt any of them are in decent condition. I'm looking forward to the Michaels/Taker match and the Hardys.
Edit: Oh, and MITB. Though I have a feeling it will be disappointing.
The quality of the Legends match won't be good, but seeing as all 3 legends are coming down seperately, I guess it could mean that the 3rd of them pulls out, and Stone Cold replaces them, meaning he'd then get a rather quick win over Jericho, who would be part-worn out by that point.
I just don't see this WM without Austin, to be honest. And this angle needs him to save it, not Mickey pissing Rourke.

Yeah unless Mickey is in full Marv outfit from Sin City. I can only see the Taker match and HHH one being worth watchin. Money in the bank should be good enough, but ya never know, could be pish with the 2 big men in it.
Don't under-estimate Kane and Mark Henry, seriously. Just because it's a ladder match, it doesn't mean it has to be FULL of high-fliers.
BarnDoor
05-04-2009, 23:25
If a legend does pull out it will be Steamboat, since he hasn't been in the ring since injuring his back in 1994. In a match against Austin, funnily enough.
The tag titles match will now be a dark match? What a loony decision. A so-called 'DVD exclusive'. You'd think WWE hadn't fucked over the PPV buyers enough already.
Why not have Kid Rock warm up the fans instead?

05-04-2009, 23:33
Good, that's one less shit match I have to watch.
Surely they can't be allowed to do that ? I've paid for this, they can give me all the scheduled matches the cunts. I don't care if it's absolutely shit, it's still a match that I've been mislead into paying for.
Well I went onto WWE.com to see if that was definite and found the result of the match! I guess that answered my question...
They must have something in store for us then surely if they've thrown the match off the main card.
Either way, the entrance is impressive, Nicole isn't doing too amazingly with this national anthem mind. Looks a bit like ET too.

Surely you would be entitled to a refund? When John Cena dropped out of the house show here, they sent me emails, called me and did all sorts of shit to let me know that he wouldn't be performing and that I could get a refund. They also said it at the beginning of the show which I thought was a bit daft.
I'll moan about it, but I'm British so I of course will do fuck all about it, but moan. Can't be arsed trying to get a refund, any hassle is too much hassle.
Looking forward to this Money In The Bank though!
Sheeze-eazy!
So does anyone know where I can find a stream?
Not allowed to talk about it mate, Baddar mentioned it like 1 page back.
Anywho, don't expect a PM, I haven't a clue.

Steamboat looks in amazing shape, he's faster around this ring than a lot of the current WWE "superstars".

Thoughts:
1) Money in the Bank was shit
2) Why the fuck did Punk win again?
3) Steamboat was fantastic, great to see him going out on this stage. Other legends were woefully embarrassing - may as well have been just Steamboat vs. Jericho.
4) Rourke spot was completely embarrassing and handled in a laughably bad fashion. What should have happened is this - Jericho kills Flair and keeps battering Steamboat and goading Rourke, who eventually has enough and gets on the apron, knocking out Jericho and allowing Steamboat to get the pin. The way they actually did it was just dick.
5) Hardyz match was shit but the Twist of Fate with the chair was a great ending.
6) Rey Mysterio in his Joker get-up - what the fucking hell was that all about? Again beyond embarrassing.
Overall then mostly awful so far, this HBK/Taker match better be good, I'm off to bed after it. Wrestlemania reached its peak at 18, everything since has progressively gotten worse.
Dundon's
06-04-2009, 02:46
The Taker match might of been the best so far, bit slow to get going but the end of it was at least edge of the seat stuff, it's just everyone knew he was winning going into it.
Fucks sake that cunt Cena is fighting now and if it couldn't get any worst there's millions of them. :/
Was probably the worse MITB match they've had. I don't think the match was shit, but there was nothing innovative, or breath taking. Don't understand the result of the match though. I hope they have big plans for it, otherwise it's poor decision, imo.
Divas battle royal as expected was more or less worthless. What was hilarious was some rasta guy's reaction in crowd at the end of the match.
Steamboat was awesome and showed he still has it for sure. I really wanted him to pick up the 1-2-3, but it makes more sense for Jericho to win. What doesn't make sense is to let a movie star, who has links with boxing, bury one of your main eventers.
Jeff vs Matt was alright. Nothing extreme about it to be honest. And it would have been better if it was back and forth, rather than Jeff dominating throughout the whole match. Unique finish, but expected much more.
Only two good things from JBL vs Rey: The big boot and the "I quit". Match was 21 seconds so no need to say anything else.
Undertaker vs Shawn was brilliant. Fantastic match with some good false finishes and a perfect finish. I'm definitely going to be watching that match again. I knew these two guys would deliver, as they always do.
Triple threat match turned out to be a lot better than Orton and HHH. It was solid. Nothing more. I saw this result coming, so I wasn't surprised. Cena's a fucking animal though. So damn strong, it's scary.
One of the poorest main events, imo. And it's not even because of the result. With these two guys, you expect a solid match, but it was boring. My cousin fell asleep, no lie. These guys have wrestled each other a lot and put on some good matches, but I guess it was one too many in the end, as this was a let down. It's the main event of the silver anniversary of WrestleMania, yet this main event felt like a Raw. Not good.
Decent show, but was expecting more. I've enjoyed Backlash's and Unforgiven's more than this WrestleMania and this should not be the case.
Didnt watch it but from what I can gather, the Taker/HBK match was the best one. From what I read, the entrance was quite good aswell.
Different type of entrance from Shawn Michaels as he is dressed in all white and is lowered down from the top of the stadium in what is like the bucket of a firetruck ladder. They are giving the impression he is coming down from heaven. Once he is lowered to the bottom his music hits and the crowd pops. Michaels says his prayer and the pyros explode. Michaels poses in the ring then pumps the crowd. The lights go out as Undertaker's music plays. They bring him in up through the floor to give the impression he's rising from the dead. Undertaker holds his hands out and fire fills the stage.

HBK vs. Taker was great from the moment Taker almost died with that dive out of the ring. I honestly thought he'd seriously injured himself for a second.
Might as well c+p my thoughts from EWB...
got to watch it live (Thanks Virgin Media, for once) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I knew the big guys would deliver in the MITB ladder match, and some of the spots were great, as usual, even if a couple were slightly botched, but you expect that.
And wasn't Triple H's entrance just fucking awesome?
I was also glad in a way that Trips got the win. In the way I expect Undertaker to win at WM, I expect Trips to lose. I'm sure Orton will win the title (or a title) very soon anyway.
I loved the fact that barring the Diva match, every one seemed to tease one winner, have something else happen, tease another, before you get the winner. As expected HBK-Taker gave us more of this than the others. I SERIOUSLY didn't think HBK would kick-out of the first Tombstone.
So yeah, really good event. Downside was the diva match for me, in that you knew Santino was going to win once he kept away from everyone, and none of the returning Divas were really focused on all that much, like Molly Holly and Torrie.
EDIT: And Joel, if you honestly thought that Mickey Rourke wasn't going to get the better of Jericho when the two finally had an exchange, you shouldn't have bothered watching that part. It was obvious it'd end that way, just like it was obvious Mayweather would, in the end, get the better of the Big Show.
Having read upon what happened, apart from a few cool moments (Steamboat, Taker-Michaels match, one or two big falls) I'm glad I didn't spend my money on it. Haven't watched a live Wrestlemania since 2003, and see no reason to do so in the future.

I recorded WM25 on Sky+ so I can watch it again, and I just watched the MITB match again. Suprised by the result, but the match itself was better than I thought at the time. Unsuprisingly, Benjamin and Kofi tok the biggest jumps, but everyone had their moments, although Mark Henry and to a lesser extent Kane, were never looking like winning.
My favourite match was Undertaker vs HBK. No one kicks out of a Tombstone Piledriver, and didnt Undertaker get hit with 2 Superkicks and still kick out?! I didnt know when it was going to end, which was brilliant, and the leap Undertaker took, to land square on his head, was ridiculous! I honestly thought that could have been Game Over there and then, he left an indentation on the mat outside!
The other matches were good, the Twist of Fate to Jeff with his head in a chair was quite sick.
Steamboat was fantastic, looked like he could have pulled off a 10 minute match (and a decent one at that) by himself.
BarnDoor
06-04-2009, 12:46
Baddar how can you say that was a 'really good event'? I can name at least 150 other WWF/E PPVs that were better than that.
Also, it was obvious Triple H was going to win. Lets look at the history of main event outcomes at WrestleMania.
1 - Faces win
2 - Face wins
3 - Face wins
4 - Face wins
5 - Face wins
6 - Face (it was two admittedly) wins
7 - Face wins
8 - Face wins
9 - Face wins (Hogan)
10 - Face wins
11 - Face wins
12 - Face (again there were two) wins
13 - Face wins
14 - Face wins
15 - Face wins
16 - HEEL wins
17 - Technically speaking Austin turned heel at the end of this match, so its sort of a grey area
18 - Face wins
19 - Face wins
20 - Face wins
21 - Face wins
22 - Face wins
23 - Face wins (although I think Michaels was also a face)
24 - Face wins
25 - Face wins
So aside from 16 and perhaps 17, the face(s) has won the main event at every Wrestlemania. Its incredibly boring.
It's not that I didn't expect Rourke to get the better of Jericho. They would have never had Jericho crush him as he wouldn't agree to it. What I am saying is that they shouldn't book one of their top stars to be knocked out in the way he was. It's not smart business. It makes him and pro wrestling look weak in my opinion. He didn't want to wrestle Jericho, but yet he still knocks him out?
With Mayweather and Big Show, Big Show was destroying and Mayweather had to revert to a steel chair and then knock Show out with brass knuckles. Big Show didn't go out looking weak. Plus, Mayweather has a nice undefeated record to back up that he is a dangerous man.
Steamboat's performance and Undertaker vs HBK will be the only thing that comes to mind when I look back on this WrestleMania though.

You could also say that about the Undertakers match, you know who was going to win. But that was still probably the best match on the card!
Barndoor, I don't even think the problem was that the face won, the match sucked to be honest. If you have a good match, but a predictable outcome then it's not so bad. But when you know who is going to win before the bell rings and you expect a good match, but end up with one of the worst main events in WrestleMania history, you have the feeling of why didn't I go to sleep 30mins ago?
I still can't believe how awesome Steamboat was. He didn't miss a beat all night. I just had a smile on my face when he was delivering the arm drags, man. Plus, he wasn't in bad shape at all. It's crazy that I didn't care for this match going into the show, but it will be one of two that I remember for a long time.

Seeing Steamboat like that, it should have been him and Flair at the last Wrestlemania, they could have put on a great match and best of all actually allowed Flair to win and retain some dignity.
No apperence from stone cold!!:(
Austin did appear, but not in the Legends match or to wrestle. But it was a nice moment and it seemed like he was saying farewell for good.
In my opinion he was the most important superstar in WWE history, just pipping Hogan. They will never be another Austin.
BarnDoor, I did enjoy the show. That doesn't mean iit's my favourite by a long shot.
I was slightly let down by HHH-Orton and massively let down by the diva match, but enjoyed the rest.
JBL-Rey being so short didn't bother me. I would've preferred the Tag Title match to that.
Can anyone post a pic of Rey's getup? Im trying to get hold of a copy of the PPV, but it wont be completed today.
Eric Clyde

My disappointments are:
Tag match: It had been advertised as a match so when I ordered WrestleMania, I expected to see this match.
Hardy match: I enjoyed it but I was expecting a lot more for an extreme rules match. It could have been longer.
HHH-Orton: Was expecting a lot to happen in this match but surprisingly nothing did.
JBL-Rey: I don't really need to comment on this.
EDIT:
Also I think the Money in the Bank match has been the weakest one so far.
Maybe they need to revamp the MITB match? Just look at the Elimination Chamber, ive seen all of them and they have gotten repetitive bar the Undertaker one (great finish).

06-04-2009, 16:56
Regards the MITB match Christian should of won it with that superb act of skill to recover the falling ladder, now that would of been a finish.
Who'll bet me they include that feature in the next WWE game?
Another thing that pissed me off was when the camera cut from Ricky when he was skinning the cat. :faceplm:
Sounds like an average show. Glad I didn't bother watching it.
HBK vs. Taker was great from the moment Taker almost died with that dive out of the ring. I honestly thought he'd seriously injured himself for a second.
:shocking:
I thought he'd broken his neck or something, was fucking terrifying. How he carried on I don't know, it was one of those moments where when the replay is shown, you cringe.
Overall though, it was alright. The HBK vs. Undertaker match was by far the most epic, it truly was top entertainment.
The MITB was entertaining, but that's probably because I think I've only seen one other MITB match before so it was something different. Some great moments in it, liked it when Shelton done the flip off the top of the ladder outside onto the crowd of wrestlers. Also Kingston was quite entertaining it has to be said, shame about the ending though, could have been so much better if Shelton managed to powerbomb MVP out of the ring first time.
Battle Royal was obviously just a filler, not worth watching really. The Hardyz match wasn't bad, thought Jeff actually hurt himself when he landed on his arse though, looked painful. The finisher with the chair was great though, kudos for that.
Wasn't overly impressed with the main event though, think I was more impressed by the other matches in fairness.

fuckin hell. im glad i was nightshift, watching this show sounds like a form of torture
i've not followed wrestling in years. what the hell has happened to it ? wheres the old story writers cause the current stuff looks gash. Vince needs to rethink things. is there still a raw and smackdown separate roster ? whats with there being a wwe title and world title ? theres too much going on, bring back the glory years of the 90's ! id pick 1996/1997 over this current shit anyday
i mind the days id talk about wrestling wi people like i talk about football now. where did it all go wrong :(
i never noticed a face always won the main event
what happened earl hebner ? the time he drank with austin was genius
I saw Hebner over at TNA once.

Aye he is now a ref on TNA.
Are there any GIFs or videos of this 'Taker bump yet? Sounds like awesomeness.
Oh dear. I was expecting far greater. Worst WrestleMania main event ever without a shadow of a doubt. I thought the stipulation of title could change hands on a DQ would lead to the ref thinking Triple H used the sledgehammer when he punted Orton. That would lead in Vince coming down to restart the match, which then would mean Priceless come to the ring and all hell breaks loose.
I enjoyed the spots from the Hardys and MITB matches, but still felt there was something missing. I think it was the confusing winner of MITB and no insane stage dive I was longing for from Jeff which did it. Cena winning? Urgh. JBL 'quitting' after a 21 second match? Urrrgh.
MITB - *** 1/2
Divas Battle Royal *
Legends/Jericho - **1/2 (all for Steamboat)
Jeff/Matt - *** 1/4
JBL/Rey - 1/2*
Undertaker/HBK - **** 1/2
Edge/Cena/Show - **3/4
Orton/HHH - **
Poor.
EDIT: The Cena entrance was hilarious, as was him posing by the Rock > Cena sign. Both unintentially funny though. :lmao:
Dundon's

Did anyone notice the guy in the crowd during the Kid Rock "concert" with the Boo sign?
Was deadly.
Fair ratings, Guillermo. I'd only make two changes to them: MITB - *** 1/4 and the Triple Threat - ***.
I wonder what's next for Shawn and Undertaker. I hope they don't take a rest until after Backlash! Same as Edge.
I saw that sign Dundon's. My favourite sign was the, "I fell asleep after 1 round." So awesome.
Part I hated about the night the most was Kid Rock. I'm not saying I dislike him, I couldn't care one way or the other, but taking up 20 minutes of a wrestling event is just a farce. I like a performance, but only if it's a superstar's entrance theme. Also completely made the diva entrances irrelevant. Molly Holly, Victoria, Torrie, Sunny? We saw about 5 seconds of them combined. Don't think I actually saw Sunny. We knew it was going to be short, but the execution was terrible. Layla eliminated before the match even begun summed it up tbh.
As you can see, me going into so much depth about the women's match alone shows how disappointed I was on the whole.
I have cancelled my download of this upon reading all of your disappointing mini-reviews. Instead will try and get the highlights package and the Taker/HBK match.
I was looking at the diva pictures on WWE.com and apparantly Joy Giovanni was in the match. Didn't see her at all
Kofi's run up the ladder that Henry was holding was pretty sweet. The drop into position for the World's Strongest Slam was nice too.
What would of been amazing is if Mickey Rourke didn't "attend" in the crowd, but came out through the Wrestlemania entrance with Randy The Ram's music blasting. Wearing The Ram's attire and everything. Shame.
There once was a time that Id cream myself when Wrestlemania was on, must be 9-10 years ago now. It was on last night and my brother had people round but I didnt give two fucks. Ive tried to watch the new WWE and things, but its just not the same because theres no other competition.
I wish it was back in the WcW/nWo days when Austin dragged the WWF to the top. Good times.

Steamboat wrestled on Raw, looks like this wasn't a one-off. Which is a shame, as this will only end in tears.

Check Morrison trying so hard not to laugh after he says the thing about HHH.
