Postion - Team - Games Played - Points

10 Wigan Athletic --------- 32 ------- 41
11 Manchester City ------- 32 ------- 38
12 Bolton Wanderers ------ 32 ------- 37
13 Stoke City ------------- 32 ------- 36
14 Portsmouth ------------ 31 ------- 34
15 Hull City --------------- 32 ------- 34
16 Blackburn Rovers ------- 32 ------- 34
17 Sunderland ------------ 32 ------- 32
-----------------------------------------
18 Newcastle United ------ 32 ------- 30
19 Middlesbrough --------- 32 ------- 30
20 West Bromwich Albion -- 32 ------- 25

So PESGaming, who do you all think is going to be relegated this season ?

I tried to simply copy and paste a "picture" of the League Table but had difficulty so just pasted a basic version of the bottom half. Looking at it, I'll be controversial and say that of course West Brom will be going down, but so will Hull City and Newcastle United.

Middlesbrough have a huge game with Newcastle United coming up in the coming weeks which could very well decide which team gets relegated. It will no doubt be interesting.

I think Boro and West Brom havent helped themselves of late. I know Boro won last weekend but the odd win was always coming. The performances for those two two weeks back were really bad. I fancy Hull to go down aswell because I dont believe they have they best players right now to help them.

In my opinion: West Bromwich, Middlesbrough and Sunderland. I'm sure that Newcastle can stay in the Premier. Also, if Hull City continue with this poor form, maybe they can be in Sunderland's place.

I just wouldn't want to see Newcastle go down, it would be real weird to see them in the CCC.

West Brom, Middlesbrough and Hull.

I thought Newcastle a week ago, but after getting a point at Stoke, I can see them winning their last 3 home games.

In a way, after thinking about it, I hope Newcastle go down. Because of all the teams there, I believe they're the most capable of "surviving" the plummet financially. Chances are, the other teams could really fall on harder times in comparison which is never nice to see.

I've never liked West Brom, I dunno why, good riddance.

Blackburn under Fat Sam, ugh. Wouldn't exactly miss them, plus he'll eventually make them into another Bolton. Dirty, horrible, tough to beat, etc.

I think Hull impressed everyone with their start, would I miss them? Probably not, but I don't wish relegation upon them. Especially if Man Yoo go to them on the last day needing a win to win the title, and Hull needing one to stay up. (I can dream can't I?)

Middlesbrough are my home town club, most people I know support them, so I can't exactly wish them to go down, but they always fucking give us a game and we haven't got 3 points are the Riverside in forever, so I'm kinda, torn on what I want to happen to them. Shite fans though. Also if they go down I'll be able to attend some Championship matches next season. My thoughts on Newcastle are similar..

..I like them and their fans, and they are a big club despite what some would say, and there's a chance they could become a decent force in English football again, which means while they could take points of us, there's a chance they could do the same to the Mancs, Chelsea and the like. I'd rather the title was harder to win for them, even if it meant it became even harder for us.

Sunderland are pretty much the same, they'll give the big boys a game and their fans are passionate, so I wouldn't mind them staying up too.

Stoke I like, their football isn't exactly pretty, but like the two above they have good fans and they aren't the type to lie down when the bigger teams visit. Oh, and I suppose they have a cool fan in Nath. Although "cool" might be stretching it a tad..

I like Pompey more now than I did under 'Arry, and I like the majority of their players so hopefully they stay up.

The other three are safe, unfortunately..

I'm expecting Boro, Hull and West Brom (obvo) to go down though.

Imagine the firesales if Man City, Newcastle and Sunderland all went down.

Although I realistically think it'll be West Brom, Boro and Hull.

I'm trying to come to terms with the irony of you all underestimating Portsmouth all of these years, only to overestimate our chances when we are well and truly up the duff.

Thanks anyway I guess.

I'd want it to be Blackburn, Boro and West Brom. Dislike all of the three.

Fair to say the Baggies are down. I'll take a look at the remaining fixtures for the other teams and decide who I think is going with them.
Edit: Hull probably have the the toughest run in so they could very well go down. The last remaining spot is going to either be Newcastle, Sunderland and 'Boro. I can't decide but there will be some interesting games in these finals weeks at the bottom end.

I believe that we are going down. Of course I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong.

Too many teams from the extreme North if the battle. Mind you I'd prefer a trip to the Northern SJP than the Southern SJP.

I'd love Hull to go down just for a bit of Karma for Bullard and I'd love Blackburn or Bolton to join them just because I hate them but I will be very happy to see Boro going down as well.

Basically, after last season I'm just ecstatic Fulham aren't down there.

West Brom are as good as down. The others are too hard to predict. There always seems to be a team that comes from nowhere to escape or comes from nowhere to get sucked into the relegation zone.

If Boro can keep getting the support they had on Saturday during their home games, they could survive.

I'll go for West Brom, Sunderland and I'm hoping Hull. Though I'm waiting to see what Newcastle do in their 3 big home games.

Hopefully Hull - I predicted it work in November that I thought it would happen

West Brom are gone. Probably be joined by Middlesbrough or Sunderland along with Hull.

I believe Stoke, Bolton and Man City need only 1 win each to ensure safety, which they will all easily accomplish. West Brom are certs to go down with at least one north-east club.

18 April: Sunderland v Hull
25 April: West Brom v Sunderland
27 April: Newcastle v Portsmouth
9 May: Blackburn v Portsmouth
11 May: Newcastle v Middlesbrough
18 May: Portsmouth v Sunderland
24 May: Blackburn v West Brom

They're what I see as the so-called 6 pointers.

Boro's fixture list is a bit daunting.

Whilst it would be funny to see Newcastle go down, I'd rather have them in the Prem than Wolves or Birmingham or whoever would replace them.

We've got quite an easy run in, but there needs to be a giant pinch of salt when you remember that we drew with West Brom at home. Infact they were winning at one point.

Although relegation can be stressful, it's a lot more fun than winning trophies coupled with mid-tabled mediocrity. The next few years are going to be even more hillarious when we have to sell all of our players and move out of Fratton Park, taking residence on a local dog poo park with jumpers for goalposts.

Also Newc fans, if Shearer keeps you up on the final day then you will be buzzing more than if you won the league, mos def.

Looking at those, Porstmouth could be in trouble if they don't get a result against Bolton this weekend.

I would laugh so hard at Phil Brown and his detestable orange face if Hull go down.

That bollocks about sitting them on the pitch and giving them a bollocking was just an ego trip and self-gratification. Completely mis-judged imo.

For shame - Hull were doing so well and it is always nice to see a complete underdog perform well.

Hate to say it but i have said it for weeks i believe the Boro have gone...
the only games i can see us winning out of the remaining 6 are Man Utd (home) and Newcastle away (i'll put money on it) our 2 biggest games in there!
i know many will disagree but i can see it hapening!
we'll get beat to Fulham as they have a dreadful away record and we can't beat teams who struggle away at the riverside.

Arsenal (away) - No chance!

Villa (home) they'll want revenge for beating them at villa park and they alway's do well at the riverside.

West Ham (away) - when was the last time anyone seen Boro beat west ham at upton park?

GOING DOWN - WEST BROM - NEWCASTLE - BORO

really hope we stay up and get rid of Newcastle (Big Club :D) & Sunderland
but can't see that happening! :(
