Installation:
1. Decompress the file
2. Copy (PES2009_EDIT01.bin) in the SAVE folder, should be (My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\save), replace old file if it asks.
3. Copy and replace all files in the folder cv06.img in the one in your kitserver.
4. Copy and replace all files in the folder rv0c_e.img in the one in your kitserver.
5. Copy and replace kit.png here: kitserver\GDB\uni\National\Col umbia\pa

this means the kitserver is not installed, be sure of the correct directory (next to pes2009.exe) and that it is correctly installed (inside kitserver folder run setup and then install)

Minor things actually, some small errors like (yea instead of yes) and the 1.5.1 version in start screen to make sure the update is applied.

hey dido, i think you downloaded the wrong face file or relinked the face wrong etc for player "gardner" of bolton wanderers (player ID 1593).
you downloaded a white face for him but he's black (not trying to be racist) and jamaican. in your old 1.2 patch, you used a build face for him so i'm guessing the face file (zGardner_1398.bin) is a recent addition.

yes, the face is for C.Gardner not the one in BW, anyway i couldn't find any decent one in the net, so you can go in the game editor and restore the default face and hair.

that's fine. i never used bolton and i'm not really familiar with gardner or any of their players so it's not that big of an issue with me. it was just something i noticed while i was modifying some player stats and faces.

there seems to be a problem with masters league. every time i start a new game, it crashes. i cant even get to the 1st match. here's the ML files that crashed. can you take a look at them plz?

just uninstall the kitserve then delete the edit file.

works fine now. cant get the ML crash to occur anymore. good stuff
found some duplicated players though. merida and fran merida are the same players. one's in ML hidden. one's in arsenal.
el mohamadi and el mohammady are also the same players. one is in egypt national team. the other is unattached.

i'm using ur patch v1.4 and wanted 2 know if i can keep my save files after installing v1.5 and its update ... also if not then is there any way to get past that david lopez-athletico bug . i'm stuck in my master league
i was thinkin of buying n releasing him and cos he hasn't got good stats he should stay in d no belonging group as no one will sign him .. but i'm stuck around 4-5 weeks from negot..

yes u can keep your save files, but it can be a little bit missed up. for the david lopez bug, here is an option file fixed for the 1.4 (if u intend to keep the 1.4):

just replace the file in the save folder, but i strongly recommend the 1.5, a lot of changes have been done.

hey thnx man . works fine now.. i am downloadin 1.5 and how messed up can it get ?? i started a new season for 1.4 after playing for 10 seasons in the unpatched version .. i've already played 3-4 seasons and am not gonna start another career . any known problems if i use my 1.4 saves for the 1.5 version ??

there is no big changes, just some teams may change for other teams, things like this

for the emblems in ML and BL, pes always randomize it, if u go back then forward u will c that they are randomized again, the best thing is to change teams, personally i do that to get to choose from all those teams available who plays and who does not.
for the stadiums, u can delete the from cv09.img, and delete the preview: stadpreview_101.bin and stadpreview_433.bin, from cv05.img.
to change names u will need pes editor.
yeah i know about that randomize but i didn't mean it, the logos are messed in "replay", i chose UEFA League and i had Ligue 1 spot.

yes i know this, it is done long ago, but only build face inside PES (no free slots), but in build he came out just fine.

in your cv06 folder, rename zMakoun2038 and zMakoun5630 to zMakoun2039 and zMakoun5631
as it is right now, you have two face files for 2038 and two hair files for 5630, one for makoun, for for a saint germain player
and there are no 2039/5631 files in the cv06 folder. in your OF, makoun is assigned to 2039/5631 so his face comes out as a default player.
all faces and links are verified, there were some other conflicts, we are preparing for the final patch 1.6, which is the last one for PES2009, it will be out in june, after the season relegation and promotion.

i like your patch, i am a huge fan of it, in fact. however, it is crashing in master league when it tries to load a game against valencia. screen just goes black and the game crashes.

I found out the way around this. You have to re-do the previous week's game, save into a different slot and then it will load the game. Sometimes, it will crash mid-game also, but with persistence, I can get through it. Since I play valencia at least twice every year, any solution to this problem? thanks in advance.

i just went through the players one by one, no problem found, i suggest u send the save file to the guys in the technical support, explain the crash and they will help u for sure.

yes, after the fix 1.5.1 there should be no crashes. (that we know of)
k then, thanks for your help. i finally found a way around this. if in case anyone is having the same problem that i was, simply take out the EDIT01.bin file from the save folder, and load the next game that is crashing.
it should load and let your play the game. then, after the game is over, save it and put the EDIT01.bin file back into the save folder so you have your images and real names back.

hmm, maybe i misunderstood you the first time. that valencia squad was the team i played against. i didnt post my players: because other than the valencia matches, my team is fine with every other matchup.
sorry for the confusion mate :)
anyway, i've found the way around the bug so i'm safely avoiding it.

one more thing to fix in your 1.6 patch, the color of the supporters, especially those in the german clubs. for example, schalke supporters should be in blue like their jersey, but you have them as purple. hamburg is also blue, but in your patch the supporters are yellow and purple. bayern munich is red, and in the patch, the supporters are all in black shirts, etc etc.
one more thing to fix in your 1.6 patch, the color of the supporters, especially those in the german clubs. for example, schalke supporters should be in blue like their jersey, but you have them as purple. hamburg is also blue, but in your patch the supporters are yellow and purple. bayern munich is red, and in the patch, the supporters are all in black shirts, etc etc.

and can you change some of the stadiums in your 1.6 patch? some stadiums in 1.5.1 are still fake (mohammed lewis) and some arent commonly used (rasunda+stade louis+celtics).

right now these are the stadiums i replaced into your patch: birds nest (chinese national team, beijing 2008), old trafford (man u, england), stamford bridge (chelsea, england), emirates (arsenal, england), anfield (liverpool, england), torino (juve, italy), san siro (ac/inter, italy), olimpico (roma, italy), bernabeu (real madrid, spain), nou camp (barcelona, spain), allianz (bayern munich, germany), amsterdam (ajax, holland), stade de france (french national team), estadio do dragao (porto, portugal), mineirao (cruzeiro, brazil), el monumental (river plate, argentina), luzhniki (cska/torpedo/spartak moscow, russia), sukru saracoglu (fenerbahce, turkey), wembley (english national team)
currently building soccer city stadium (south africa national team, world cup 2010), gonna replace wembley with soccer city. even tho i wanna keep wembley since it's a great stadia, england doesnt need 5 venues in pes09 imo =\

Italian teams are under Liga BBVA(Spanish), EPL consists of all Spanish club teams, Seria A consists of mixed up teams like England and Liverpool!!!

PES always makes that, it randomizes teams, if u go back and forward it will randomize again, so to have right teams in right leagues spend a couple of minutes changing them before starting the ML or BAL game.

Classic teams will be replaced with new teams:

2. Albania - Europe
3. Georgia - Europe
4. Togo - Africa
5. Algeria - Africa
6. Super Classic Europe
7. Super Classic America

first of all thanks so much for this beatiful patch. its great, but not all teams are working correctly in my game;
like the bundesliga has still the Dutch teamnames, but German teamicons (Ajax plays with Bayer icon and kit).
and world teams A and B (most) player names and stats are missing, but filled with "Player F1" (for example).
Do you know whats going wrong here? Tnx alot.

all teams are correct, it looks like the patch is not installed correctly, be sure that the save file is in its correct save folder

if you still crashing after updating to 1.5.1, its not cause of the patch, it could be that it was installed on another patch (old not completely removed), or custom things is installed manually, u can send your BAL save file to technical support so they can figure out the cause.

After I install all the updates on your patch, the game slows down tremendously..I couldnt even get to the match.. I am running on a core duo 3.0 Gz, 2 G memory, and 512 mb graphic card nvidia 8800, is this good enough computer to run your patch? it plays fine in your 1.2 patch but not here..

the game loading may take seconds more to finish, i run this game on my laptop with half your configs, anyway if it takes more than that it could be caused by some antivirus programs (some antivirus bloc the BINS or takes a lot of time loading them)

this patch comes with its own exe file, which is 1.2, it is possible for us to make it 1.4 but then the install progress will be very complicated and no NOCD file will be available, we've chosen to go with the simple 1.2 version.
