Hi all,
I wanted to suggest an idea that I think is great.
I want more options for free kicks- instead of just having a second taker who can pass, kick and move away, I want a second taker that can do various thing- run and jump over the ball, deliver a deadly through pass.
Also, an option for two assistants who can jump over the ball, the trick where one pass, the second stops, and the thirs shoots.
These can be extremely fun.
What do you think?
Considering we're looking ahead, wouldn't this be better off in 2010 Discussions?

(yeah i also think that this deserves a seperate thread) nonetheless, What an idea! I'll welcome this feature hands down. May I also add that konami should allow us to take ground driven free kicks. You know, the type where the wall jumps and the ball goes under the wall. Also I would also welcome more free kick animations. For example a lampard.

i think he means a shot that bounces in front of the goalie
chelsea are a good example anyone who seen the recent chelsea vs liverpool champions league match would have seen the different types of free kicks they take
you could have lampard,ballack,drogba all standing around the ball and alex standing farther back ready for a piledriver so why not have it in pes with 3/4 players around the ball at free kicks

Its super easy to score with one of those, easier than going over/around the wall.
They should let you change which foot the player hits the ball with, and change stance aswell to adjust to the angle/distances.
Just hope that online 1v1 is fixed more than anything. Though come to think of it, the keepers should have more of an urgency about them - its impossible to have a quick counter attack when the keeper is awkward and slow.

I've only tried with Roberto Carlos... I can make him shoot with his right foot.

I would like to see a choice which would allow you to pick 3 freekick takers to line up a freekick, it should be something like Chelsea where Lampard, Alex, and Drogba can all stand on a freekick which would be great and realistic.

This is a good idea, however I would love to see the system they used in FIFA a few years back where you could put a cross hair on which area you wanted to hit the ball, then a power meter. Then the addition of adding extra players to pass, dummy or fake a shot would make the FK immense!

there should be a training mode where you can edit, create and practice free kicks which can be saved and used in the game.
does anyone remember the free kick argentina against england in the world cup (the game where beckham got sent off) everyone expected a shot but argentina played it short 2 passes into the box and scored.
you could have various options such as a short ball down the flank for example.
just bouncing ideas around....

I would like to but I can only video the TV. I presume I can use a regular camera but it will turn out to be bad quality.

It takes long to make it because I can't do it on training (You can see the replay of the freekick), and I have to it on a regular match.

This is hardly a choice of foot to hit the free kick with, this is choosing how to strike the ball and the game deciding it for you.
what else needs to have a new system is a penalty taking with power bar so if u miss its down to you not just random pens going wide

I like it! Like when Ballack ducked so Alex could fire it up the net.
maybe u could be able to make different free kick animations so u could decide if someone runs over the ball, if someone passes to sumone else who stops it nd then someone runs and takes the shot
^Too complicated but it increases realism so I like it.

Yep good idea, the guy running over the ball is a great idea.
It might be cool if we could utilise the top buttons for example by pressing L1, L2 (Or the corresponding buttons on other controllers) to dictate how the kick is taken, i.e. outside or inside of the foot, or to put the laces through it like Ronaldo, maybee using others for dip etc. Would obviously be more difficult to master, but more rewarding as well I reckon. Would also like to see some of the well worked training ground routines using more than the second kicker, maybee with 2 or 3 players involved.

I hate to break it to you guys, but the second man does a bunch of shit already...
he can shoot, pass, jump over the ball... all requires know how to sep up
say you're kicking to the right of the wall you put the second man on your right side and he'll jump over the ball...
hold :L1: press :triangle: and he'll do a through pass
hold :L1: press :square: and he'lll shoot
hold :L1: press :circle: and he'll cross...

Also, I find it very difficult shooting with the second taker. When a player who runs to the ball when he's very close to it, or a player who startes when he's to the left or right of the ball (like Ronaldinho) will never utilise the second taker.
When the second taker passes it to them they don't have enough time to gain speed or they have an awfel angle of shooting. Only player who run to the ball from a decent distance (R. Carlos, Lampard) can succed at that.
I want that fixed.

this is easily done mate hold circle and direction down( important hold direction button down):tongue: full power on the bar trust me it wont go high in row z it wil saty on the ground place the ball just between the players legs in the gap either threw his legs or just by both players leg e.g left leg right leg 2 diffrent players in the wall aim for that gap and they jump and bang bang goal 9/10 it works for me this works i do it all the time hope it helps mate:rolleyes:

I do it to my friend all the time. Now he never jumps with the wall so I surprise him with a shot over the wall into the net.

i do it because cpu completly cheat at takeing free kicks. all the time it is bloody anyoying that they can score from praticaly anywhere. lol even when i put my guy on the line the gk sometimes plays ping pong with the guy on the line. and somehow they still get in so i made the tallest player ever and every freekick i play in exbhition i put him on the line. 7ft giant haaaaaaaaa score now cpu lol specialy in bal mode how can a 5ft 4 guy playing cf be put in the wall all the time i really hate what konami did their.
Can a mod put this in the "Official Konami PES Feedback Zone."

To save you time, just PM the mods and ask them there, or create a single thread listing the threads that should be moved. But, it looks like you want everything from the PES2010 Discussion area to be moved.
yeah i also hope the cpu freekcicks are fixed becuase its jsut cheating how the can score anywhere i mean i dont mind connceding a freekick like back on pes6 but when its like 3 times in 1 match it takes the piss
