Different Goal Nets

I've always considered this a crucial thing. The goal nets from Santiago Bernabeu, Nou Camp, Wembley, Estadio Azteca, Bombonera are all different and particular from each pitch. They are part of the stadiums personality (to put it in some way). Same nets on the game make me feel like im playing the us world cup :blush:, dad gommit

I completely agree that it would make the game much more authentic. Though I feel Konami has a lot of work to do in far more important areas like gameplay, presentation, sound etc. and should perfect these before adding small details like different goal nets.

Yeh different goals would be brilliant!! I think those small touches can make a huge difference! Weather, nets, boards! they should also allow us to change the score display format!! Everything is gay!

Yep good idea, will make the game more authentic. Make the staduims look more individual.

I just love the way foal nets are in pes2009 .. mroe free flowing and animated .. i dont like the pulled version of nets that doesnt move a lot ..

I just had a game today when Valdez dived to save a shot from Lampard, and then went through the net, and back, just to savethe rebound from Anelka. I want them to fix it that you can't go through the net, kind of cheating.

i like the idea too. If anyone got WE9 for ps2, borussia dortmund's goal net matches its stadium very nicely (it was also why borussia stadium was one of my favorites in the game).

i also hate it where a keepers can save the ball but his hands or his head go through the post it would be more real if they hit there head on the post they would be injured

that is a good idea...the way the net reacts when you score is always something cool to look at so it'd be nice if it didn't look the same every time.

Aha! I've just posted something to this effect on the Do they listen to us ? thread.

For instance the nets at the Bernabeu go back some way and are hexagonal mesh whereas the nets at Estádio do Dragão go back further but have a square mesh (or at least they did last time I checked!). then there's Stamford Bridge with the goals right by the advertising hoardings and with blue support poles. Etc etc etc.!!

lol, Know what you mean, Ive had a few of these, sometimes they are quite funny and you can just get on with it, but sometimes it can drive you absolutely mental, like in a crucial Master League game. Ive had one before where my defender actually got stuck in the net somehow, bloody Champions League quarter final as well. As for the new nets, Im all for it, I think they do look pretty good the way they are, but a bit of variety would be awesome i.e. colours and shape.

Huge difference...in my opinion it one of the biggest thing that makes a staduim.... the San Siro is rubbish on PES2009 with kriss-cross nets!

Fifa nets do look much better (as much as I hate to say it!)

its a good idea and would definatley give the game a miore auythentic feel. These small details do make a massive difference. I have always wanted them to do a small tight stadium like you would find in some of the english games re: upton park or white hart lane, goddison or anfield
