My guess is the site itself launches this Friday, and that it will have some links or some way of being involved with Konami's development (i.e. a way to provide input directly).
That being said, I think it would be extremely unwise of them to have a countdown like this and not then also include some new information on the site (gameplay footage hopefully, but at very least some new pisc and info) along with the other features of the site, whatever they might be.

There's not really been anything on the page until now, so I'm hoping it means something worth looking at is going up there.
So, we can just wait till Friday.

Ok. I was hoping for gameplay but screens will be good.:)
It will be promotional things.
Definately looks intriguing though, I reckon they will announce thet in PES2010, we can now play 2 player Leagues/Cups the real way, as per the PS2 version, then I dont have to moan about it every day until October and can actually get a decent sleep for once and not have to worry about completely going mental :)

If you're losing sleep over the above issue, it may well be that you already have gone at least slightly mental :)

lol, you're probably right, just seems like forever since Ive been able to play a real 2 player Cup/League, think I might have a full out breakdown if its not in PES2010 :) Anyway, not long til the countdown finishes, heres hoping for something cool.

Is Evo-web still functioning? cos if they are it seems they mean nothing to Konami.
Their front page was last updated on August 20th last year so it must be down to that. The forum is active but they wouldn't deem it enough, especially as most of it is set to private until you join.

I had a quick read of some of the new features and the new AI/Individual Player Characteristics paragraph impressed me. The example they gave of players being more eager to make runs in to the box, when a team mate that is known to have a good cross is in possession of the ball, is showing signs of they are focusing on important facets of the gameplay.

Its an improvement, no question, especially the bit about feedback, although im a bit skeptical over just how much feedback they are going to take, I still think rather than some flashy bollocks on their own site, they just need a bloke to be a present on this forum. But its an improvement.
Excitied to see these new turning and kicking animations in particular, the dribbing animation change was an absolute necessity.
It's odd, it looks like a step forwards, credit to konami, but as I been saying on here for ages, nothing groundbreaking whatsoever. Im assuming the movement is still limited to 8 directions.
One question why are they asking for feedback when they would have already started making the code for this game ages ago, isnt the idea to ask for feedback BEFORE you make the code so you have more chance of changing more apects of the game? The game is due to be finished in 3 months, its a bit late to ask for all this feedback, still better than nothing.
Still no solid explanations but those will come in time with seabass's annual lies about great the game is.
I wanna see the new animations in the game, still no mention of what they plan to do with ML in details either.
I think this will be better than pes 2009 though.

EA Has an entire section on the forum dedicated to feedback, the developers post on it and David Rutter himself (the guy making fifa 10) posts on the forum and answers questions from the fans.

i was really dissapointed ,i waited up to see what would happen when the countdown stopped ,i was expecting something ,something to get excited about ,something just to say yeah i`ll buy that i cant wait
but instead i got webpage that a 10 year old could have knocked up using you tube ,well done konami you have dissapointed me yet again

360 movement doesn't makea game better. It has to work first. We don't know if it'll work or not. I suggest we wait and see.

True, the reason why I assume its good it because the independant and non independant journos who tested it at e3 all said it was very good. Amougst all the journos who identified problems with the early version of that code, 360 dribbling wasnt one of them as far as I can see.
The 360 movement is a huge thing, unless its seriously flawed, no sane person is not going to want to buy the game to see what its like.
Its gonna have to be seriously fucked up for me to wanna play a game with 8 directions again, as long as they have given the user a way to defend against it as well as make it a skill to get past people, it should be okay.

16-direction movement and passing worked fine for me in FIFA 08 to be honest, if PES moved to that I'd be fine with it. 360 can come along next year. I think that whatever they do, moving out of the Super Nintendo days of 8-direction is a must.

Spot on, it does feel like that, i thought it had 16 directional movement until ea confirmed otherwise, deffo feels more open and less rigid than pes.
