PES's equivalant to the Arena

yeah I can see the appeal of this. I played FIFA with this feature and it was cool but to have the same features in PES would take away from what makes PES, PES! If you can see what I mean. I would prefer a reintroduction of challenge training or for something while the game is loading a warm up challenge where you on the pitch doing a warm up doing some running, through slalum polls, round cones etc... Maybe a few chances to practice some tricks!

Yep exactly, i didnt mean EXACTLY like The arena but similar to make it feel like there are loading times

Yeah it would be a good idea to have the subs being more involved in the match. Even the sub keeper coming on doing some practice saves. I mean I have seen Paul Robinson coming out a half time to practice saves or do other things to keep himself warmed up or just sharp for the second half.

Good idea. I would suggest, also, expanding that a little and, perhaps, the option of being able to kick a ball around with other subs on the touchline, while the match is going on, if you are a sub.

One of the first PS2 PES games had the camera shwoing footage from the warm-up whilst it loaded.

Arena is cool for the first few days, but then you get bored of pointlessly shooting about or sit there twiddling for a bit whilst the game has already loaded.

These sort of features would be ideal fodder if the PES10 gameplay is solid, but any sort of casual features this year should be left well alone with focus on the gameplay.
