I assume you are directing this question to Konami. If so, you should post it in the Official Konami Feedback Zone.

First clearly state what the problem is, and then add any other comments you have. At the moment, I have no idea what you are asking for.

Knock your pad across what?

Haha, you would not beleive how simple a little programming switch it actually is to allow the (2nd) user to 'knock their pad across'. However, I think Konami thinks they provide the end user with more fun and challenge in not being able to 'cheat' by having the opposition in cup/league mode being designated to a potential unoperated gamepad, than allowing the end user to have his mate play some games as the oppostion against him in his league campaigns.

The dumbness of this devlepment team really dumbfounds me at times.

whoever would want to do this is a doofus anyway...if you want to play your mate, do so in exhibition...if you are losing, dont cheat and have your mate play as the opposition and let you win...Im with Konami on this one.

Erm, you really dont seem to understand do you?

Speaking for myself, I like to play Champions League with my brother. I go, AC, he goes Man Utd. However, we are both in different groups. So each of us plays as the others opposition with the aim of hindering the progress of the other with the weaker teams. The rules we play is that there can be no formation or strategy changes unless playing with our chosen teams i.e. AC/ Man Utd. If any of us should win the Champions league with our chosen team then that person wins £10 from the other.

For us, this gives us maximum entertainment and interest in the game and provides the opportunites to play with lots of different teams, and since I have patched my PES install, lets us see all their pretty kits and hear all thier catchy supporter chants.

Of course, we can only do this cos we are playing on my PC and I use kitserver to unlock the controller. If we were playing on my brothers 360 (which we wouldnt anyways cos PES on 360 runs like dog compared to PC), then we would quite simply not be able to do this. Surely any reasonable person can see that this is a big error of judgement on Konami's part.

Well now you have elaborated I understand, fair point.
