Greetings to all,

First of all thanks PES Forums for opening this space to fans.

I’ve been a fan of PES since winning eleven 6, when it came to America, but I’ve enjoyed konami soccer games since ISS.

• What I like about PES: A LOT OF THINGS, most important, PES knows what soccer is about.

• What I don’t like: Online play, lack of official leagues, unable to edit official team kits and some custom cup options.

Suggestions:

a. Incorporate a FULLY customizable tournament for multiplayer, in which you select the number of teams, players and rules, without the computer limiting you to the typical 8, 16 or 32 team selection.
Allowing the following:

-Play a custom cup with whatever number of teams you want and organize knockouts or groupleagues ANY way you want (groups of 2 or 3 teams like the actual Peace cup). So you can play with your friends any way you want.
-This will expand PES’ edge over the competition boosting its game life with a fully editable multiplayer tournament system.

b.Customize tournaments like the American cup or Champions league ANY way you want.

c.Editable official kits: To expand its life even more, permit editing the official uniforms on the console games. If this is a license issue, add DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT in which the teams upgrade kits and player abilities too.

Do u want to edit official kits already in the game?
or do you want to be able to make kits as good as the official ones in the game??

I'm personally hoping for a very indepth edit mode so we will be in control to make the game official.

It would be good if we could just tke bits from official kits we need like Umbro or Nike socks and top etc.. Then add the rest the way we do already..

Maybe I didnt explain myself well enough... Since the PES games have so much replay value why not add a plus with the option to edit official kits. Why? so it would add a more up to date feelling rather than just playing with new players and old kits, for example Michael Owen at United. The new uniforms are out and we can't change them in PES 2009, we have to wait until november meanwhile playing with past jerseys. It would be a true complete edit mode in my opinion.

I never quite understood why you couldn't edit the licensed team kits, although I'm sure when I downloaded an OF for an earlier version of PES, they were open to edit.

What Konami could do is give users the option to modify the licensed kits as they would like them, to keep them up-to-date for instance, and then always have a "revert to original kit" option in place, so if you ever wanted to go back to the kit that was in the game when you first picked it up, you could quickly and efficiently.

When we make changes in editing, it becomes our own personal file, so I don't see why we shouldn't be able to do what we like with it, considering the editing options already available in PES.

I dont understand either why we can't edit official kits, my only conclusion is that it could be a license issue...if a team like arsenal has a brand like nike maybe nike doesnt allow a change to their kits, I dont know really, but the idea to revert the kit to the original like you said should take care of this issue regarding official license products. Thus konami may find an easy solution so we can enjoy this feature.

Good to see you back Daymos, aren't you a graphic designer of some sort? Anywho:

I think the editing suggestion in particular is a good one, especially of the licensed teams. I personally think we should be able to edit licensed teams, but probably not being able to alter the sponsors and what not seems logical. Just editing the actual kit, not the logo, sponsors or emblem since they're licensed - that seems reasonable in my eyes.
