its so annoying when you aim right and he shoots left! This has caused me to lose a number of matches. For example i was playing master league and i was losing one nil against zenit.

In the last 15 mins of the game, i had a one on one chance, i was running towards the keepers left, planning to curl it round him, i aimed left and he shot to the right, causing me to shot right at the keeper.

I had another chance when i was running down the left wing and i smashed in a low ball, the keeper misjudged it, and decided to leave the ball and stand there for some strange reason.

My player got onto the ball, practically an open goal because the keeper was way to the left of the goal, you would think that he would easily score if i aimed it to the right, as far away from the keeper as i can, only for him to shot left, right at the keeper! This issue needs to be sorted out konami

I agree! Aimming when shooting has been an issue that even Konami has not fully explained. They say the D-pad controls direction and the Length of power on the power bar controls height. This is true, BUT the D-PAD controls are not defined enough.

What happens if you are running left to right on the screen. In THIS EXAMPLE left on the d-pad is forward for the striker...therefore Up is right on the goal aand down is left. But on penalties, down is middle at the keeper?? So which direction do we shoot?? Konami has to define this.
