i think maybe in we8 they showed the ref and what country he was from...my idea would be to have like 10 fake refs in the game. then before each game when they show the lineups they show which ref was doing the match.

have it so each refs do different things. some examples.......some call a lot fouls, some call very few fouls, some give a lot of cards, some give a lot of red cards, some call more dives, etc.

I'd like refs to spot hand balls. There have been occasions when defenders on the post, defending corners, have raised their leg to stop the ball going in, but they actually prevent a goal with their arms, as they raise it for balance. Surely that's a penalty and straight red?

Yeh thats a good idea, but I can see it being really hard to implement into the game and lots of people constantly moaning about it.

In relation to the OP I think that it's a great idea to have referees with different attributes and maybe the ability to edit referee appearance (as I find none of them look middle aged, all look fairly young for referees,lol).
