PES 2010 will be the best for the people who loved PES 2009 instead of FIFA 09.FIFA 09 had much more customers than PES 2009,so FIFA 10 will remain the king,because PES 2010 is almost a fidel copy of 2009,the same goes for FIFA 10(as far I've seen).

With regards to hope, i cant understand why all you pes bummers are so worried... Form what ive seen, heard and read PES2010 looks to me like it will be the best PES ever made....
whether it will make my personal top spot is another thing....;)
Pes 2010 seems to have lots of improvements over pes 09.
But let's wait and see.
Oh and btw this encourages me even more that pes 10 will be the return of pes.

Yes we all realize that FIFA was rated lower than PES last year by them ( and in my opinion, they are correct ).
But didnt PSM3 also sound quite negative with their 50% build? Look it up and see for yourself....
p.s. very very shameful tech. In in regards to RIOT...he even said he PLAYED PES TO DEATH in the old days....and FIFA is a new experience for him. He said 'We will have 2 great football games"...

Dont place your trust in him.
We are only a month or so away before the big guys get the FINAL review copy and then will see whats it all about.
Although, its quite clear that PES is back to its best. Whether people will like that is another story.
Some will want the innovating FIFA and some will want the classic gameplay of PES.
Good year for football games.

But come on man, he talks all this shit on PES2010 and he has not even played it!
Now that PSM3 are saying that PES2010 comes out on top ( even though they bashed the 50% build ) he comes up with excuses.

I honestly dont even care if someone comes on here and tells me why he prefers FIFA and why its better. I just dislike the manner in which HE does it.
PES v FIFA will be an ongoing thing. It has to be. The competition has to be there in order for these to get better.
But he makes it sound like FIFA is a 9.7 out 10 game and that PES is a 4.4 out 10 game.
If thats his opinion, fine! But he doesnt have to repeat it OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OV......
And then when the reviews start to sound positive ( RIOT saying that PES will be a great game again, IGN saying they are switching back to PES this year, PSM3 saying PES2010 comes out on top, etc. ) he gets very negative and starts his shit again. All over again.
It seems like he LIVES to talk shit about pes....
who the hell has that much time to just constantly hammer away at the same thing....? Why isnt he on a FIFA forum? He says they listen better than KONAMi so whats his point here?

Be afraid cynics be very afraid, it looks the king is about to return. Well maybe its on the way. Unlike some of you I appreciate any good news that I get of the game. Hell all the previews that I have read so far have been praising the game. Hey I am definitely getting my hopes up because I know this game can't be any worse than 09 which was a game that I totally enjoyed, as far as I am concerned Pes 10 is a win win situation for me.

But what you have to realise for the last couple of years fifa has been very ISS like in its approach,pes2010 is very much like ISS again ie the fun and enjoyment factor but at the same time staying true to the pes formula.

Fifa09 was a great game even Seabass admitted to that, Konami dropped the ball the last couple of years, it took some very angry fans and a strong Fifa09 games to get them back on track. Konami isn't going slack off again because they get now, they can't bring out mediocre product anymore or they'll lose their fan base to EA which in a way is a good thing for us consumers.

Seabass himself says its made for the Japanese market then adapted for europe, this is why i dont think it will ever really hit the spot for me again....
their whole concept of how the gameplay should be just isnt my cup of tea anymore...

Its not about concepts its all about gameplay bottom line and the feeling you get while playing thats important.
Its not about animation,mo-capping and physics because they mean shit if the gameplay isnt up to scratch and this is why pes will always be superior to fifa.
So the last two years havent been anything to write home about but this has changed this year with pes2010.
Pes2010 is nothing like fifa its pes but better then its ever been with more freedom of movement and control with finetuned gameplay and that all important playability back.
Fifas a tech heads dream with its animation and features but it doesnt deliver wear it matters and thats on the pitch.
Whether you like to admit it or not konami are the masters of the football genre and have a cv of football games that date back twenty years from the the delights of ISS deluxe through to pes2009 which in my mind is still one of the best football games on the market and is still superior to fifa09.
You can quote as much techno babble as you want beyondthought but the majority agree pes09 was still the better game last year,one that pes2010 builds on delivering what konami always visioned for the next gen.

Because adams got the newer code now and realises like all of us that have tryed it how good it is this year.
Its the 360 movement it just completely changes the way pes2010 plays and just gives you so many options and choices.
Its the missing element that pes09 lacked and would of been so much better if it had it.

There were waaaaaaay more elements that PES2009 lacked more than 360 movement (passing, running-ball-on-a-string-animations, etc.)

Really excited for PES now this year, lets hope all these previews don't let us down like the last few years

Like I've said before ... who cares what the concept is like, as long as the game is good. I'd rather have fun with my game, be it PES or FIFA, than care what their concepts are
The passings all right in pes09 when you learn to use it properly,what are you gauging pes09 against because if your talking about the ps2 versions then your kidding right because even pes09 was more realistic then these games.
Dont get me wrong pes09 has got its flaws but fundamentally its still the most realistic pes we have had.
Its just a question of spending the time with it and adapting to its more measured gameplay which can take many months to tap into.
Not perfect but still a very good game.

Can't say I agree with you that PES09 was the most realistic yet & that passing's all right. Lets be honest it was shocking, especially when you remember how good the passing used to be in previous games.
I'm just glad everything sounds like its been fixed & improved alot this year

PES09 wasn't that bad of a game I am still puzzled as to why people hated the game so much. Yes the running animations were a bad but the gameplay mechanics were good IMO enough that they didn't hinder the overall experience.

As long as pes play like pes but with a simulation feel, I will be extra happy.
I'll second that, I want it to feel like PES, but have some of Fifas things, animations for certain things.

No matter how good fifa is, it cannot beat the playing time of pes.
Well at least so far, but I really like some things that are on fifa like animations, place shot and lob shots and some other things.
So as long as it plays like pes (but with a simulation feel unlike in pes 09) it can copy from whatever game they want. I won't mind
Oh and I don't mind fifa copying pes either because that's the way competition goes.

Exactually shaun7 totally agree, I buy PES because I like the way it plays, I dont buy Fifa because I dont like the way it plays. Simples.
I like Fifa's animations, place shots (although if you do this all the time it gets too repetitive) aswell. I like the Free Roam Area, I enjoy when I am round at my mates, just to have a blast on Free Roam, its great if you cant be bothered playing, but see Fifa needs that as it gets very boring.
Ano, who cares if they copy each other its not like they are both terrible games.
It seems to be you (buyer) are either a PES man or a Fifa man. It seems that way.

I like when people say they copy each other, this is a competition you have to do what's right to win, that includes emulating the good thing from your opponent. At the end of the day each game has their own things that make them unique.

I wasn't talking about you rather elaborating some on your point that it doesn't matter where the ideas and innovations comes from , all that matters is that we have a good football to play in our console.
