The rules for anyone who wasn't about for the last round (basically just copied 50!'s post from the last one):

You can pick any team from English leagues + SPL + Serie A (England League, Championship, League One, League Two, SPL, Serie A ¬_¬)

If your team wins, you move onto the next round

If your chosen team fails to win, you're out.

Game continues until there is one man standing.

Rules:
You CANNOT pick the same team more than once

If nobody wins, the game rolls over to the next week.

If you do not select a team, it counts as a loss.

You must choose your match up to an hour before the kick off.

If your chosen match is postponed it counts as a win regardless of the follow up result. (Obviously you can't select a postponed game once its been announced.)

You may choose your matches several weeks in advance if you are unable to select one every week.

You must sign up from the beginning to be in the game, you cannot enter halfway through.

If you select a team you've already chosen and I fail to recognise (until someone else points it out), you're out.

You submit your team to me via PM.

You must have at least 1000 posts to participate.

The match can be from any Saturday or Sunday games in the nominated leagues.

The first weekend will be the 12-13th of September.

Sign up before 11.59pm on Friday the 11th by replying to this thread to participate.

The first post isn't exactly long now is it? Expecting you to read the whole thing isn't asking too much is it?

The first post isn't exactly long now is it? Expecting you to read the whole thing isn't asking too much is it?

Well two points here.

Firstly, when its one of your posts yes it is and secondly, I don't think like a retard so I wouldn't expect that reading the Rules section which stipulates particular leagues are involved wouldn't go and specify them in that area, precisely where they should be.

The End.

Well, sort of. The team I picked are going to go and get a thumping now.

As I said in the first post: "The rules for anyone who wasn't about for the last round (basically just copied 50!'s post from the last one):" so blame fiddy.

Also, I sincerely hope that your team does get thumped this weekend. Good luck to everyone else. :>

Technically I'm blaming myself for being so smart....and yes its all set up for them to concede a goal in the 97th-minute :>

Now to return to my unhappy anti-virus.

You can't book me ...and you know what will happen if my usergroup is changed - if it allows that.

Read the whole of the first post people, the rules are written out strangely.

Not that it matters now but its actually the combination of both bits together. Each on their own are fine.

I'm not a fan of the 1000 post plus rule. I think it should be open to all, especially since we've only got a dozen or so taking part. We need as many people to sign up as possible! Last time we ended at round 7, we'll be lucky to reach 4 this time.

I was just going to say I saw that on the forum where I got the original idea, they started making people pick two teams when it was getting tedious but if its only lasting 6 rounds then I guess theres no point.
