[Help] Connecting USB Storage Device to PS3

right, basically i have a USB JetFlash Transcend USB Device, already in FAT32 format, and i am trying to connect it to my PS3. The problem is that after plugging it in to the PS3, nothing comes out on the XMB - no "USB Mass Storage Device" button, at all. Can anyone give me some guidances please? Cause i really cant think of anything else i could do...

You have to create the proper folders in the USB drive:

PICTURE, MUSIC, VIDEO, PS3; all capitals.

i actually did... U meant like PS3\MUSIC etc right?
and the problem is that it seems like it cant even detect the USB device, although the flashlight on the USB is already on... would it be the PS3 not recognising the device?
