The classic teams are better stats-wise, because they're a collection of the best players over a longer period of footballing history.

I don't like playing as them though, I think it's quite poor personally. Like playing as Club Teams the most, can't beat a good Monaco-Bordeaux derby. :D

Classics have the best stats.

But I prefer playing with National teams.

The classics are miles better, they all have all-round abilities. The modern players may excel in some areas but usually have quite a few weaknesses. Plus the Classics usually have better teamwork and mentality. Having said that stats don't always reflect a players effectiveness in the game. The most effective player is probably Rivaldo. Brilliant at passing, shooting and dribbling! I'm quite good as well! :)

National teams are the best because the players are faster and better at dribbling than the classic teams. and because pes2 s all about speed rather than skill it means that fast teams are good teams.

:) Pele does stuff i've not seen any other player do! Bit like Garrincha on the previous version! Zygalski (i've been wodering where you got your name for ages!!) i'll post the results as soon as they happen! As for North v South look forward to beating you all, i mean playing you all. Hee he!

i think that the classic teams are better overall cuz almost all of the player in each team are great but in the national teams, there are better player but there is only 2 or 3 in each team!(average)

Holland and Brazil (classics) have almost a full squad of brilliant players. When i'm Beloved Brazil i play 5 up front and still can't use all their strikers! They have Pele, Jairzinho, Garrincha, Careca, Tostao, Muller AND Zico (can't forget him). And Holland almost have as many, Gullit, VB, Cruyff, Neeskens etc.
