I think that is just a feature of the game mate, Konami will send different sponsors online every now and again.

Thats how it worked last year, so I hope it will be the same. Don't think I had unlocked and renamed many players before releasing v1.1 though.

A lot of them are real players, however I have had to leave some fake players in the squad for the time being as you cannot reduce the squad below a certain number of players and there just isn't enough in game wolfsburg players.

BTW I am currently working on the International kits, does anyone know a good resource for finding good quality pics of full kits? I have the png files but need to know what I am trying to replicate for some of the teams

Try looking for matches on youtube, ok the images may not always be great but you will get some decent close ups. Handy for getting away kits and goalkeeper kits. Really looking forward to the international kits. Thanks in advance.

Not all fake teams are corrected, CSKA still have fake players for example.

Will be the same with the other Bundesliga teams. There are a lot in the unlocks though - you need to win the International tournaments (ex World cup) which dont take very long at all. I am correcting names as I unlock so you should get them renamed if you download the next update

first of all great option file rosh, the kits and emblems are truly the best out there. i was wondering if anyone has found a way around the whole deal with teh trophies? i have worked out that if i copy over the rosh save data then i can win trophies, but lose all my personal track record. if i keep my saved data i cannot unlock trophies. so my questions if does anyone know of a way of downloading the edit data and kits etc, from roshs file, but still keep intact your own personal saved data. i know that this is not a big problem, but i like winning trophies and i put alot of time into winning the leagues and unlocking players on my saved data. but when i load roshs saved data all the classic teams and players remain locked.

My idea.8 German teams 18 Championship teams.

Edit over 6 of the 8 incomplete teams in other leagues A except two of the Russian teams Rubin and CSKA.Then adding to Bayern and Wolfsburg already done add Werder, Hamburg, Schalke, Dortmund ,Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart.

Of course Konami patch if it ever arrives could update the incomplete teams but is probably unlikely.

Also alot of the players for these (german) teams can be unlocked or an in national teams.Its best for realism in the master league to have a second division of English teams (if your playing an English league) otherwise you have to mix nationalities and that looks odd it means more work of course but the end result will be great! :)
So top 18 championship teams Newcastle, Middlesbrough, West Brom, Sheff Utd, Preston, Cardiff, QPR, Derby, Nottm For, Leicester ,Watford, Coventry ,Reading, Sheff Wed, Ipswich, Swansea, Bristol City and Crystal Pal.

Could also include Blackpool (whos league position deserves so) or maybe Barnsley/Plymouth or perhaps Leeds?

Could reduce to 14 championship sides and add 4 scottish teams to master league and then include more German/Russian/Austrian/Brazilian sides but I think 18 would work best and as an Ipswich fan I am sure you want you team, in a proper championship (well as near as can be)Rosh?

Create a new ps3 user account and enter pes 2010. Quit game and delete this account. Logon with the old and trophies can be unlocked again. Credit goes to Del Pino.

First, I want to say thank you for all your hard work. Nobody in the States would put this much work into an OF. That's exactly why I bought a UK copy this year. I greatly appreciate the updates.

I do have one question.

v1.1 is just the same option file but you added accurate European International kits?

I'm just trying to get an idea of what was updated and when. Perhaps a Change log is necessary? It would show everybody just how much work you've consistently done on this OF as well.

BTW...I'd definitely go with Option 3.

Just got PES2010, this file looks great, but neither of the download links seem to be working.
The megaupload one seems to have been removed,and when I download the other one and try and unzip it, I get a message saying that it cannot open the file as it does not appear be a valid archive.

I might finish up some loose ends and release v1.2 before doing the rest of the kits. And then rename fake players

You have to unlock them yourself - but should show up with correct names and kits once unlocked (I hope!) Renaming fake players will be in v1.3

Yes, I've unlocked all the classic teams myself and a handfull of hidden players. Using your edit data all the names are now correct for both and Bayern have unlockable players in the squad such as Butt and Lell. For me, Wolfsburg only have about 8 or so players and alot are named FAKE. Not sure if that is your on going work or just a slight mistake somewhere.. Not sure about the players that i haven't unlocked though, Beye is at Villa but I've unlocked him anyway..
Classic teams have the kits that you put in too.

have just created a new log in for pes 2010 then come out of it, deleted it then gone into my old one and i stil cant win trophies, it just comes up and say 'you did not earn a trophy'

I have never claimed that I have renamed all the fake International players - I've focussed my time on getting the best EPL and La Liga kits out there, completing the national kits and doing Classics. Renaming players was a time consuming add-on once the kits were done (v1.3 now). 99% of people want EPL and La Liga and other clubs teams done first.

If you don't like the untold hours of hard work I've put into the file then I suggest you go away and edit your own file before downloading something I am offering you FOR FREE and slating me.

It's people like you who make people like me think why do we bother offering our hard work to others to try and make their gaming experience better.

This is not fair mate. Rosh has created a great file for us here. Using his time to make a great effort to make up for Konamis laziness.
You can read the file description to see its contains before downloading. Don't get the fuss about these 40-50 players names. Just edit them in your game..

I think I'm just being slow but I can't get my ps3 to recognise my usb has these files on it. I've installed OFs on 08 and 09 with no trouble but for some reason I'm struggling this time round. Has it got anything to do with the fact I didn't have v1.0 and went straight into 1.2? I've downloaded the file, put it into savedata and ps3 files but I do not get a usb icon under game on my ps3 dashboard. Also thanks a million for all you effort Rosh, guys like you make this game 100 times better. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Germany,France,Spain are licensed so you can't edit their kits at all - I guess Konami will update them with DLC sometime in the future. Russia have their previous shirt at the mo (they only had it for like 5 minutes!) but I now have a png for the latest shirt so will update that. Also have the new Denmark shirt png.

Bassong and Zenden are not in the game - will wait until the DLC from Konami tomorrow, maybe they'll arrive then. Dindane should correct with the DLC

I downloaded the full 1.2 version, but deleted all the kits from my PS3 from 1.1..Now, all I've got it the Brazil kit and when I go to copy all the files from the 1.2 version on to the USB, it keeps asking if I want to overwrite the data.bin files

He was in Barcelonas squad on 2009 or atleast someone created him in a optionsfile. I used von optionsfile then. But its possible he was at the game even without a optionsfile. So hopefully he will be added.

I think the Konami DLC update reset thing like the Bayern/Wolfsburg player registrations. A lot of the players you do need to unlock though.

Your unlocked teams are untouched when you do not copy Rosh's System Data.
So copy all files, except the System. Works fine for me.

I haven't used this OF yet but downloaded and installed the Konami update yesterday (been using the WENB OF).

During the install of the Konami update it asked me to overwrite my EDIT data file - so I did. I was wondering if using the 1.2 version of Rosh's OF would mess with the squads and transfers etc? OR should I just wait for a Rosh update that is compatible with the new Konami update???

As Rosh's OF is for the UK game and assuming that 99% of UK game owners will primarily support a uk team, then offering the Championship doubles that chance of UK users getting their preferred club for a ML campaign.

Just my opinion of course.

Also, I have had no issues with Rosh's OF and the Konami patches.

I downloaded the Konami DLC yesterday and had the WENB patch. I have now decided to use Rosh's file (1.2) today. The kits etc are great in Rosh's 1.2 file, however the fake players are all back in international teams and the names are all wrong (Bahrain etc)??? Any ideas why? Is it because I downloaded the Konami DLC/patches first?

I tried to copy Rosh's EDIT file over my existing one, but it seems to want to default to the Konami EDIT file.

I'm very confused - please help........

I then decided I wanted to use Rosh's OF instead as it was more complete. So I used version 1.2 FULL and popped it onto my PS3. All kits etc are great and the club teams appear to be fine. However........ the FAKE players are all back in the international teams and the names are wrong (eg the Asian teams etc have all reverted to the incorrect player names).

My bad! Just read through all of the pages from 10 onwards and realised that the FAKE international names won't be done until 1.3. Sorry!

Still the best OF in my opinion.

As for other league B - German and Championship mix is a great idea.

On that point actually I have just received my FIRST donation for a download. Pretty sickening that not a soul (After 10,000+ downloads)has deemed my file worthy of a token donation until now, especially as rip-offs my file are on eBay at £5 plus.

Hey Rosh. I have a couple of questions. What's the difference between glossy emblems and "ordinary"/HQ-emblems, and why do some people use glossy, and some "ordinary"? Are glossy emblems better looking in-game or something? In your OP in this thread, I see the Man City emblem is quite strange. Are you going to fix this, or will you use "ordinary" emblems in the next version?

I'm really looking forward to PES now, and downloading your option file. I just hope the City kit looks good, which I'm sure it does - since people say this OF is the best. Little skeptic about City's emblem, though. Can you enlighten me please?

Glossy emblems look better - however as the rest of the in game emblems are 'flat', it can look odd when they're shown together.

For this reason I removed some of the more glossy ones for v1.2 and will replacing any remaining ones for v1.3. The City emblem is now a flat emblem, I replaced that first as the emblem is used on the kit and did look a bit strange.

You can download the Update 1.1 --> 1.2.
This update only contains the changes done in 1.2. So, you only have to copy the files present in the 1.2 Update download to get to version 1.2 of the OF.

Small detail is that Rosh did a lot of kits again with better and improved graphics. So the update is quite big. But still, not as big as the Full 1.2 version.

I have renamed all the unlocked classic players now - just missing 21 players from completing the other leagues (38 games to unlock 3-6 players!!!)

Updated some kits and emblems - including the new released Denmark and Russia kits. Fixed all the mess-ups Konami's DLC created and completed the transfers they missed.

Just going to rename the fake International players then release a new update to use in the interim until the rest of the National kits are done.

I know that to unlock players I have to win the competitions. What I wanna know is: the level of difficulty is relevant? (to unlock needs to play in TOP PLAYER?); the time of the match is relevant? (need to be at least 10 minutes?) or none of these are relevant to unlock players?

Another question: how NOT to copy the SYSTEM DATA? Which folder into SAVEDATA corresponds to SYSTEM DATA?

As I am new here, I have some questions:

1-I just purchased the ps3 and got the pes 2010 and want to know how to add the option file to the original game?
2-If Konami released a new update does it means that the option file I downloaded will be expired?

First, congratulations Rosh. You do a fantastic work!

I know that to unlock players I have to win the competitions. What I wanna know is: the level of difficulty is relevant? (to unlock needs to play in TOP PLAYER?); the time of the match is relevant? (need to be at least 10 minutes?) or none of these are relevant to unlock players?

Another question: how NOT to copy the SYSTEM DATA? Which folder into SAVEDATA corresponds to SYSTEM DATA?

You can play the tournaments on any difficulty, and time. I just play 5min games normal level - takes about an hour for each international tournament. ML games obv take a bit longer but at least you can skip games you don't need to play.

Its the full national leagues that take the time.

The system data file is the one ending in ...OPTION when you see it on your PC. When you are copying the files on yor PS3 you will see it is called SYSTEM DATA

You told me a few days ago that the players bayern munchen en werder bremen needs to be unlocked. I have unlocked some players now but they don't appear in Bayern or werder. I see them on classic players. Do I have to put them myself into Bayern and werder or does your 1.3 do that?

When I don't copy the SYSTEM DATA will all my unlocked players stay? But will all your changes be made?

Great work Rosh, I don't know if this was mentioned before but I would suggest replacing Chelsea 2nd kit with the 3rd white kit as both the 1st and 2nd kits are almost the same color.

probably the best OF around! are the CCC-logos in the other league section teasing for some championship teams in the future? would be awsome.
i didn't manage to use the attached system data, are there possible ways to do that? would that also be the reason why some players have strange names, ex. in stabaek, and the squads aren't complete in bayern and wolfsburg? or are they in the editing phase still?

Konami's DLC reset them all back. I have re-registered all Bayern and Wolfsburg players for v1.3. Your system data holds your unlocked players so you wont lose them.

Sorry Rosh if you've already answered this, but have you decided on which teams you are going to put in (Championship or Bundesliga) ? Your option file is the best out there, having tried a few, i really want to start my master league and to do so properly, i need an all english league otherwise it is ruined...

System Data should not be copied. If you do so, your unlocked players and teams will be overwritten and trophies are ruined. Rosh unlocked almost everything in his System Data and corrected the player-names of the unlocked teams. That information is stored in the EditData. So, once you unlock a team, the name of the players and teams are correct as Rosh changed them in the EditData.

So, players names / team names / kits are stored in Edit Data-file.
Unlockdata, trophies, game settings are stored in System Data-file.

Dont know about everyone else, but all these users who keep on posting asking how to install the OF onto the game are annoying the fuck outta me. It seems to be every other post. It just shows laziness as all these people need to do is to go back and read the first page of the thread, as the question has been answered fuck knows how many times. Furthermore this system data thing, if you wanna be able to get the trophies then dont copy it! This is basic stuff so stop asking stupid questions.

I think all edit data (kits, transfers etc.) has something saved in a system data automatically. otherwise won't be able to apply.

Just to make sure I have done everything correctly. I just clicked 'copy' on every file except the System Data one, then started up my game and overwrote my previous Edit Data and installed everything. Is it just as easy as that?

I've been using your OF to be honest. I just try to keep up the spirit and to appreciate all the OF makers. But yours the one I've been using.

Can't wait for your next version. Hope it'll be out soon. By the way, any chance of create team from MLS. ( ie LA Galaxy etc ). That'll be interesting I guess....

has anyone unlocked all the players from the rubbish leagues?? any done the cups so far, think you any get bout 6-8 players from the French, Italian & Spanish leagues, think you get more from the prem though

Well I've unlocked all players except those hidden by La Liga (6 players), Serie A (6 players), Ligue 1 (6 players) and Eredivisie (3 players).

So as long as you've unlocked what I have you will have the exact same file as me when I release it - otherwise you'll potentially be missing a bunch of players.

Unless those unlocked players registered to teams still appear even if you havent unlocked them?? Someone let me know

go into track record and press L1 or R1 to page across to the hidden players screen - tells you what competitions unlock what.

In short you need to win all the international tournaments (Euro Championships, African cup etc) win the league, D1 cup, Champions League and Europa league in Master League. All the Classic nations are unlocked by winning the World Cup with their respective nations - England,France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Argentina and Brazil.

Each National League also unlocks some players, but I have only completed the Premier League so far.

Hey Rosh, v1.3 is sounding excellent. can't wait for my uni exams to be over so I can enjoy the fantastic work you've done and get an up to date ml going.

Have you won the Champs League in ML as that unlocks a fair few Newcastle players. Also have you created any of the missing players that you cant unlock. aren't on the game at Wolfsburg? Winning La Liga unlocks 5 Wolfsburg players and Rensing the Munich GK.

Rosh, I won the Champs League in ML within an hour with Man Utd. Just leave every match to your coach and put it on an easy setting. Will unlock aload of useful players for everyone!
