How To Install An Option File (PS3)

Thought I would do this as I couldn't see one on the site.

Please note: There have been some people saying that Trophies have been locked because of downloading an Option File. What I did was delete my own Edit Data before copying over the one from the OF. I can confirm this worked as I got the Last Minute Win trophy after installing the Option File.

1. Download the Option File
2. Unzip it (I unzip it onto my desktop using WinRAR)
3. Insert USB stick into PC
4. Make a new folder on your USB called PS3, then inside that create another folder called SAVEDATA
5. Put the OF into the SAVEDATA folder, so on your USB you will have PS3>SAVEDATA>all the folders from the OF
6. Plug USB stick into PS3
7. Go to Game-Saved Data Utility
8. Find your USB stick
9. All the kits etc should show as single files, along with an Edit Data file, and a System Data file
10. Start at the first kit, press Triangle while you are on it, a Copy option will appear
11. Copy onto your PS3
12. Repeat for all kits (this may take about 10 minutes but it is worth it)
13. Also copy the Edit Data from the OF, but NOT the System Data
14. Unplug your USB stick
15. Load up PES2010
16. Voila! :)

ive complete upto number 7 but when i press triangle on my usb device the only option is 'information'. any hely would be massively appreciated

So first I have to put my original pes 10 edit data and then delete it and put the option files edit data? Or can I just copy the edit data before I play the game and save it?

Had the same problem mate. But figured out it was my USB stick that caused it. Which format is your USB?
I have an old one, so just borrowed one from my mate and then it worked out fine..

What I mean to say Shaun is if like me you edited the Premier League club names before installing the OF, delete the Edit Data you did in the Saved Data Utility, then copy over the Edit Data from the OF. :)

^Ok thanks. But what I meant was that if I installed the option file before even playing the game (so I cannot delete the edit data) will the trophies still be available?

'Load failed because data is from a different version. Download content and update data'

This is 1st option file ive tried....bit confused so need help?!?!?!

Is it the same installing OF guide to PES 2011? I have copied all the kits and edit data to ps3 but there wasn't any system data file. When I had copied all the files there was no change in the game. It semmes like instead of copying to the pes 2011 folder, it created a new pes2011 folder. Whats wrong? please help

Did you check that the option file is for the same verison of the game you have?
on PES2011 there will be a number on the right side of your disk starting with BLES.
the option file must be specific to your BLES number

I will be frankly honest i need help on how to apply kits or patches into my ps3 ...Ive have being trying to do it for the past months and i had failed in all the attempts ... im not quite familiar with this due to the many exception that come along when i try to do this ... i follow your steps though 7. but after that it seems that doesnt work for me... i have update the game as u said and also download the OF that u provide ... i think somewhere along the step 5 & 7 i having problems ... please man help me out feel free to email me at luism@renerofe.com ... thnx in advance

ps: edit data file and system data file ? are different files that i need to download it order to make it work and if it is can u show me how
