View Full Version : UK and EU Option Files NOT COMPATIBLE.
Ok people as most of you may have already found out PES2010 has separate regions for UK and the rest of Europe. This creates a problem with Option File sharing.
Option files have always been the bread and butter of PES fans and since the greatest of those are created by UK players this will be a major problem/let down for thousands of EU players.
I don't know why Konami did this but I believe it is a BIG mistake.
I'd love to hear what you all think about this and maybe PESGaming could get the word out to Konami if some of us raise this issue...

I ordered my PES2010 from UK but my PS3 is bought in Sweden, I dont know what that means!!! Should the UK OF work for me then??
If not, I dont think I can EVER forgive Konami for this!! I will send them emails and piss ALL OVER THEM IF THIS IS THE CASE!!!!!!!!:realmad::realmad: :realmad::realmad::realmad::re almad:
I really hope am wrong m8. The comments I read in 2010 OF seem to conclude that this is likely to be the case. Keep ur fingers crossed...
If u get the UK game though I think u 'll be ok.

Yeah, I've seen this knocking around a few places now. Pretty big oversight by Konami. Shame. We'll see if somebody works a way around it. As for the swedish dude, if you have a UK copy of the game, I'd have thought you'd be fine.

You should be okay. Like American DLC is linked to American disks.

If you look on the side of the game, it will say at the bottom what version it is.
the UK version is BLES 00688.
The EU version is BLES 00689 (I think)
Not sure what the US version is called.
I live in Denmark and I have the UK version, I think the EU version of the game is the one with different languages than english (German, portuguese, french, spanish, etc.)

Is there any way we can convert some of the files in the EU and UK OFs.
I found an option file BLES00689 which is EU I think, would like to use some of them for a UK option file.
At least for PS3, I believe they are compatible... I have the UK version and my friend has the one with Portuguese/Spanish/Italian/etc language... I sent the same OF I used here, he did not complain about it...
