Installing basic option files PS3
-Follow link to download OF
-When downloaded on your cpu, should appear as a .zip file. (compressed data file)
-Get winrar or any unzip utility from the web (google search these)if you haventgot these already
-Go into chosen utility and Unzip downloaded file
-This should now appear as a ps3 folder, within that will be many uniform folders and a option folder
-Copy the whole ps3 folder and its sub folders, to a pc formatted usb stick
-Stick usb in playstation
-Under game menu in media bar om ps3 is a save data utility
-in this folder will be all your game saves for you games
-Delete all your existing pes edit data/kit pngs . (if you wanna keep your save cups/leagues/bal etc you can)
-at the top should say usb device (or similar)
-go into that you will see all the pes files (an edit data file, and many images of kits)
-press triangle on one and copy that to your ps3 (your main user profile on your ps3)
-repeat this for all the files
-These will now appear as they did on your usb, but now on your ps3 with all your other save games
-MAKE SURE YOU DEFINITELY COPIED OVER THE EDIT DATA AND DELETED YOUR ORIGINAL ONE OTHERWISE THE OF WONT WORK
-Load pes
-pes will create new user system data (unless you also kept your old system data which you can)
-Edit data will load automatically.....viola

Installing Chants on PS3

1. You need to create a "playlist" at your PS3 XMB called KONAMI_PES with no spaces (when you have typed that in your onscreen keyboard, don't press start because it will automatically add a space at the end of it, instead press L1 3/4 times then press start)
2. Go to your USB device in XMB music, press X, then Triangle to "dispaly all", files will be in MUSIC folder.
3. Copy chants to KONAMI_PES playlist.
4. Start game, go to chants, mp3 library, all your chants should be in there.

Methods for transfering OF to XBOX360

There's a few different things you can use, but they all involve buying something. You can't use a USB Stick or connect your console via network cable.

XSata -
Clips on in between your HDD and your console. Has to be connected to your console and PC simultaneously. Not the greatest design and not the easiest to disconnect from your console, so I'd avoid it.

XPort -
I own one, works perfectly. You simply connect your hard drive, or memory card, to the docking station and plug into your PC via USB. It's powered by your computer so your console doesn't have to be anywhere near your PC. Same price as the XSata, and works with both hard drives and memory cards so this is recommended over the Xsata.

Datel Transfer Kit -
The cheapest option if you already own a memory
card.

Talismoon Minispy SATA connector-

It's a small and cheap xbox HDD connector and it works very well. Priced at about 8 pounds, it sure is a better option than the XSATA.

Installation Help

X-port/X-sata

Connect your hard drive/memory card to the Xport Device as instructed in the manual.
Run the Xport software
Navigate to partition 3, and select the correct gamer profile
Find folder 4B4E07F0(PES 2009) and go into subfolder 00000001
If you've already saved some files, you should see them there

Use WinZip to extract the downloaded option file to a separate folder
With the option file unzipped, have your xport software window on one side of the screen and the folder with the option file in on the other side of the screen.
Use drag & drop to transfer the files to the Xport. You may have to transfer the files one or two at the time otherwise the program might crash.
Once all the files have been transferred, disconnect the hard drive from the X-Port hardware, plug it back onto the Xbox and load up PES!

Make sure you have a default PES 2009 Edit file: In xbox360 dashboard; go to System, select your 360 HDD and copy the Edit File from the HDD to your memory card.

1.- Extract the files to a folder named PES.
2.- Plug in your memory unit into the usb cable.
3.- Run Xport 360 software. Download here -> http://us.codejunkies.com/support/ar...article_id=272
4.- Double click on Memory Unit 360 and then Partition 2.
5.- Double click on content.
6.- Click on E00002B45A53B92B. (This number might be different in euro version)
7.- Click on 4B4E07F0.
8.- Click on 00000001.
9.- Drag every file on the folder PES to 00000001.
10.- Close Xport 360.
11.- Transfer the files to your xbox 360 HDD in the main menu under memory. If it says to overwrite, accept.

I strongly advise not to use the software included with the kit, download Xport 360 software instead.

Datel software supports only PCs running Windows.

i am trying to copy option files from a usb stick to my ps3 slim, the usb device shows up in the 'saved data utility' but when i press triangle the only option i have is 'information'.

Had the same problem. Think my USB caused it - so used my mates external harddisk instead and voila. You have to make sure that your usb is the right format.. (think it's fat 32)

I have already downloaded the crowd chants and put my MP3 songs onto PES2010 from my USB pen so it seems the pen is working.

It just says No information when I click on saved data utility but I can see the option file under sections "video" and "Music" It just won't show under "game"

I will download the file again and give it another try. It's quite annoying as I spent hours last night trying to get it to work!

I've got it working now.

The instructions I used weren't correct and a poster on these forums gave me the right ones!

I changed my USB settings to FAT 32 also (don't know if that helped) but cheers.

I'm happy with my new Prem shiny kits!!

The thing is- Don't put the whole file on you USB. You need to put the whole file somewhere on your computer, and then copy only the file that sais "PS3" (it is in the whole file).

Now it should appear on your saved data on your PS3.


Im in the UK. I didn't press triangle on the "saved game utility" I pressed X and it gave me the option to "display all"

this hasnt worked for me, the file i got was off a user called rosh so i downloaded and unzipped his file, when transeferred onto my fat23 usb stick the files were labelled up:

i copied that also onto my hard drive and renamed the first 2 files under the name ps3 but when the stick is plugged into the ps3 itsself it keeps saying no data found or a similar message, help please because this is getting frustrating

^ I'm using Raineys OF - Just curious: Why did you have to rename the files?

Have you checked that his option file is not just for UK or USA or something like that? Don't know what system you're on..

Are the option files for the EU version of the game. Cause the us version of pes 2010 just came out today in the usa and when i try to do this it wont work. I deleted all the old pes 2009 files, deleted my pes 2010 edit file. Then i copied all the kits and the new edit file to the ps3. Loaded the game and nothing. Can someone help me?

I am having the exact problems you are describing,ive got it onto my USB stick but its only showing up under the 'Music' & 'Video' menu's i dont know why it isn't showing up under the 'Game' menu,this has been taunting me for 3 days! :realmad: I've not even played any games in between :no: LOL!!!

I have downloaded an OF to my 4 gb memory stick type FAT. But when i put it in my PS3 it does not show any sign of recognizing a memory stick (not in music, video or any other place) Is my memory stick not compatible???

Worked out what was wrong - need to reformat the memory card then it gave me a lot more space.

Also needed to copy the edit data not saved data!!

hello guys , i had a problem.....
we have a league of pes, with edited teams, everything works on 2 ps3 then on 2 ps3 didnt. i find the reason, two versions of game are english and two italian, and when i the console with italian game try to load the edited data, it just didnt reconize it....
its possible cause the italian data trys to find the dati editeti while the english version in which i edited have the date edited file? if is that how i can change the name of the file and where is located in which ps3 subdirectory?
p.s.on italian version of game there is not english mode
p.s.s.there is a way to copy the comunity file option from one to other ps3, cause when i try it said that the data is not from the ps3 in which i try to put it

its so stupid on italian disk and on slovenian dvd is written the same area of game distibution, but the edit files are not compatible....when i put in same ps3 the italian disk dosent load and sllovenian did....

hi, everybody.
i was importing a lot of option files on my ps2 over the years, but this is the first time i do it on a ps3...
and i don't think i get this, am i suppose to copy all of those thousands seperate files one at a time? then go in to the edit-mode in the game to import the proper strips, logos and faces etc? or is there a way to get it all to work? i can see all the correct team names and logos in the menu, but the strips are kind of blank and appearences of the players arenot looking as the screen shots of the OF. please help.

Well...

I downloaded everything, got it into my ps3 etc. But when I went into the game after copying everything (including the system data and edit data), all the kits were in the wrong teams, for example the Everton goalkeeper kit was now the Tottenham goalkeeper kit, and the Hull City kit was the Man City kit.

The design, badges and colours etc. of the kits were correct, just the sponsors were wrong.

What have I done wrong?

I am having problems getting the files onto my ps3 slim. The kits and faces show on image section of the ps3 but in the game data it says there is nothing there. I have deleted my previous option file however, i have the 3 files in game data utility called : pes 2010, pes 2010 online AD data and pes 2010 downloaded data. maybe you can help me -I downloaded one version following all the instruction (put onto USB, copy each file etc) and then didn;t like that one so deleted all the files. Now i am trying to install a new option file and each time i have copied all the files and loaded the game i get the following message: "load failed because data is from a different version. download content and update data'.

I live in Sweden and I am trying to get Rosh OF to work. The WENB OF works but when I install Rosh OF i doesn´t work and I can read something like I have the wrong data version for my PES. Why is that? I have the BLES 00688?

I installed Rosh's OF v1.3 no probs but I deleted it when I downloaded v1.4 and replaced it on my USB stick now when I start the game it says load failed cos data is from a different version. Can anybody help with this I don't know whats gone wrong.:unsure:

I followed the OF guide for ps3 perfectly, use the EU-version and updated the game to v. 1.03, had no problems while installing, but when starting the game, while loading the option file, i get an error "data is corrupt". it made me crying cuz i reinstalled everything about 10 times again without positive effects. pls help me :((

That's another great and helpful link. You suggest NOT to use the software included with the kit... that would be ok, but I cannot download it from the link you posted ("page not found", it said).

As I bought (and will use) a X-ploder, which seems and looks to be the same as the Datel Memory Unit transfer Kit you used, I wonder if its software works better than tha Datel one. Any clue?:no:

ok i have copy all the files one by one to save data and after i do that am i suppose to edit those myself or should everything be already done cause i go to load data and nothing doesnt load also the names are not change or the badges i cant find them but when i go to edit a team like chelsea and i go to markings and from there i go to logo and upload teh jersey thats how i was doing is that the right way to do it? or should the option file be done everything automatically like what do i do after i copy every file to saved data from there i dont know what to do? can you guys anyone help me please i got the US verison by the way thanks a lot

I think I had a few problems with the originale Xploder software included in the box. I read somewhere you used an alternate software, I mean the one u install in your pc to copy files to the memomry unit. I do remember the link (*codejunkies* somewhat.com) did not work, so I'm asking for another one or someone able to send me the .exe directly to my mail...

My situation.....

Installing basic option files PS3

-Follow link to download OF OK
-When downloaded on your cpu, should appear as a .zip file. (compressed data file) OK
-Get winrar or any unzip utility from the web (google search these)if you haventgot these already OK
-Go into chosen utility and Unzip downloaded file OK
-This should now appear as a ps3 folder, within that will be many uniform folders and a option folder OK
-Copy the whole ps3 folder and its sub folders, to a pc formatted usb stick OK
-Stick usb in playstation OK
-Under game menu in media bar om ps3 is a save data utility OK
-in this folder will be all your game saves for you games OK
-Delete all your existing pes edit data/kit pngs . (if you wanna keep your save cups/leagues/bal etc you can) OK
-at the top should say usb device (or similar) OK
-go into that you will see all the pes files (an edit data file, and many images of kits) OK
-press triangle on one and copy that to your ps3 (your main user profile on your ps3) OK
-repeat this for all the files OK
-These will now appear as they did on your usb, but now on your ps3 with all your other save games OK
-MAKE SURE YOU DEFINITELY COPIED OVER THE EDIT DATA AND DELETED YOUR ORIGINAL ONE OTHERWISE THE OF WONT WORK OK
-Load pes OK

question how can i add teams from another option file when i already have one option file installed lets say i have one option file but other teams b are empty how can i add the argentinan league there without having to erase the first option file thanks anyone

hi, have tried this with my MAC. There is no option to unzip and the files show up on the PS3 in the save data for me to copy. Is there a problem doing it via the MAC (I am trying the Rosh download).

i bought this PES2010 copy in Germany. i'm talking about the BLES00689. i downloaded WENB Option File V10.3 and copied all the files from the USB on to the PS3 HDD but after all the hard work I turn on the game and nothing's changed. Am I supposed to download another OF....compatible to the version I'm using or I'm making some kind of a mistake. please help me faster so I can play my fav game :)

Hi guys i cant seem to get the option file to work completly,team name and emblems and strips kinda of work however the badges on the kit and sponsors dont seem to be there? currently im only copying the biggest file (the first one) and surely you dont have to copy every individual file??

Yeah, just delete all the the UNIFORM and EDIT files.

I have a question too. Can the Microsoft Xbox 360 migration cable be used with Xport 360 software to transfer the PES files to the Xbox HDD?

I had no problem installing a OF on my 360 with 2009 but this year the files will not copy. I have a new computer running Windows 7 and last year had XP. Anybody have suggestions?

PLease any1 help me. I play this game as US version (BLUS30404L). I updated the gme to lastest version, then download OF of Rosh. I did everything as the guide say, but when I enter the game it doesn't load the edit file (I deleted my old edit file and replace it with the download1). I try some other OF but it's stll doesn't work.

I got 1 more questions that most of OF I download from here, they say fix English team emblem but I just saw 1 edit file and the kits picture, is the emblem including with the edit files?

All I want is the kits and ablem of all unlicences team. Please help me. Thanks

Everything went ok, but after I opened the game there was a text ''Load failed, data is from different version. Download content and upload data'' I don't have the konami version, cause I don't have network in my PS3. What should I do? I'm playing with Bles-00688

but when started i can't load tht file

my ps3 automatically get updated i think it's having lteast verdion of firmware.

could you please tell which konami updates and which option file you are using, because -thanks to the tutorials- i ve put all files in correct places but in the game edit file dont load because of the version difference between game and the data files

Please help me. I just wondered why there are two spaces to record the uniforms that I created on my option file? And even downloading option file ready I can only import uniforms 1 and 2.

This may be a stupid question but when using a downloaded option file on the PS3 is there a quicker way of copying all of the data onto the PS3? Currently I copy every single file over from the unzipped option file individually, which takes ages as there is often over 200 (strips, faces etc.). Is this the standard way or am I doing it a long winded way?
Also is there a quick way to delete old option file data. My PES 2009 file has hundreds of faces, kits etc but I cant face deleting them all one by one! There doesnt seem to be a delete all or copy all function on the PS3 when deleting saved game data.

Also I heard that you can upload PES 2010 edit data into PES 2011, has this been confirmed?
