problems connecting to people online

hi all,
i wonder if someone out there can help me. im having problems conncting to people online. i play my ps3 off the wireless and in pes 2009 it worked fine, but some reason it cuts out everytime i connect to someone. it will however let me connect to my mate who i play alot, but just not too anyone else!!

I had the same problem at first. I think i went to settings on the PS3 and switched the port from manual to Automatic. It has worked for me. Don't know why but it did.

i might have already tried that but i'll double check, but if i have already done that then why cant i play anyone else in europe? i can still play my mate on there, weird!!
