Just thought it might be worth starting a thread for people to post any good signings they made in ML.
I've just broke into the Europa League with Wigan after winning the FA Cup and i've bought a few really good cheap players. Heres the three im most proud of.
Nade - signed from Hearts in my third season for £1.5m , a bit like Drogba, really strong on the ball, fast and a great finisher.
Ugur Boral - Equally at home on the wing or at full back, pacey and a good set piece taker, signed from Fenerbahce for £1m
Sissoko - Not exactly an unknown but he was Transfer listed at Juventus and i managed to pick him up for £4m and he's been immense for me, he's my only star player and after improving my coach stats he has even got a tick for "middle shooting" :)
Those are my best signings thus far but Kazim, Mansare, Ebondo and Rubinho were all signed for between £1-3m and all have overall ratings in the mid 70s. N'Zogbia is now rated as an 84 and ive just turned down a bid of £36m from United for him. And Maynor Figueroa is one of the best defenders on the game.

I've picked up C. Vela and Nasri for about 20 mill euro each midway through the first season and I'm really excited about getting them in January. I play as Real Madrid. Hopefully they will fit right in with my 3 AMF and 2 SS.
I have signed Skjelbred (from rosenborg) Can both play cmf and smf. Rasmus elm (some swedish club) Fast and delivers good crosses.
simon davies (free transfer) great in the cmf. After the promotion from div 2 i badly needed an experienced player like him.
I also loaned Arnautovic for a half season. Awesome player. Afterwards Inter wouldn't let me loan him again :(
I've picked Keirrison from Benfica...paid around 17mil, and it was great signing!!!

Well I've done it with Wolves this time so I don't know(Been waiting for them on Pro Evo for years), but from playing the previous games; not much.

I think igot about 4mil, though that was eaten up with running costs straight away. I've just spent 3 millon on players at end of first season and i've got nothing left!

Stay away from De Camargo from Standard Liege, i signed him for £1m thinking he would be a bargain but hes a donkey, really bad stats for quite a good player in real life.

I'm Burnley and I haven't signed anyone for over a £1 million. All my money goes on operating costs, so I just sign free agents.
Although, I've just signed Marveaux for £500,000. :)

The Ajax team: Quick, Young & Strong with immense potential. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH ANY OF THE ABOVE PLAYERS based on future and present development.

Ive just managed to pick up Mata, Saivet, Reo Coker and Granqvist, all of whom are in the 80s overall, for less than £20m for the lot, cracking deal. My Wigan team 2012 now looks like this.

This is the ideal LU for me.
I'm desperate to purchase Silva, instead of benayoun, eventhough he is a fantastic player, his stamina is too low and therefore goes weak after the second match. Will also plan on train him to play instead of gerrar/kuyt/Aquilani.
I have a GREAT youth team consists of players who developed very well, such as Spearing, El Zhar, Insua, Ayala, Degen, Forles, Dembele and Nemeth. I tried few times to sign Ben Sahar and Cattermole as well, with no luck.

Im Real Madrid and signing Vela aswell :) Im only getting him on loan though. I really want Lavezzi and Zarate and tbh they should be snapping up the oppertunity to sign for me but it always brakes down.
Im really not liking this scouting system, i just wanna see their damn stats so i can make my mind up. How do you trade players?

I signed Michel Bastos... he is a great player!
Like the above post Michel Bastos is truely imense! I have also found Zoran Tosic at Man United is great, that is if you can attract him away from OT. Nugent at Pompy(Age 24) is very slow, but is a born goal scorer and is another cheap recommendation. One thing i am dissapointed about is that there is no Fabian Delph on the game, because i am sure he would be a wicked talent to have.

Could anyone tell me whether different teams start with different budgets in ML or is it all the same ? And also, in the first season, do the top four all start in the CL or do you have to qualify first ?
I only ask because i started with Wigan, with a threadbare squad and a pittance of a budget once all wages were taken out, i could just about afford a few players for £1m each. I was just wondering if moneybags Man City or Madrid have to scrimp and save in master league ?

Madrid have a 200+ budget. With all coaches set to top level and the fan club etc you get a starting budget of 108 mil i think to spend on players.
the best player i got is menez from roma u should try him guys ! what a great player like rooney in the game

How come the AI in PES 2010 has now become very similar to that of FIFA?
I have started a Master League Campaign with Celtic and mixed my Divsion 2 League up with the best teams in The Other Teams section ie. Boca Juniors, River Plate, Benfica, Porto, Galatasarray etc
Because the online play was so brutal with PES 2008 I bought Fifa 09 but quickly became bored with the Manager Mode.
Why is this? Because although defence wise on the top levels (Top Player in PES and World Class in Fifa) the AI are very good they are not as direct as they should be in an attacking sense.
PES has become Fifa! In PES 2009 if you went 1 up the AI really stepped it up and launched attacks against you to get the equaliser but now they seem content to just play the ball around at the back and in midfield, exactly like feckin fifa! What the hell are Konami thinking of? I cant believe it!
Possibly when I get up into the English Premier League the likes of Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea etc might be more direct and more pressing but at the moment the game sucks because of this.
Also, what is the story with the referees? Is Stevie Wonder refereeing most games coz he seems to miss alot of fouls.
Konami what are you playing at? Can a patch fix this because I have only played around 6 games in Master League and it is already becoming a tad boring just like Fifa's Manager Mode.
Marko Marin is a very cheap player, young and develops very fast. I'm in my 5th Season and he has a Overall-Rating of 90!

how is everyone getting playes so easily.
only grumble about pes10 is the scout/negotiating system. i really dislike it.
i started with man u and have just started my second season. brought one defender(cant spell the name) before the first season, purchased giovinco and also valbuena. both are fantastic players and good at scoring goals. i then at the end of my first season got trejo.
only problem i am having is getting defenders and goalkeepers. its a real pain in the ass to try get them, specially now seeing as van der sar has retired.
has anyone also noticed how difficult it is to now sign created players? i created eusebio cos i had in in the 08 game and he was one of my fave players and am failing to sign him
other players i am looking at signing are benzema, adriano, sergio ramos and heitinga

ive stared off with the default plalyers as sivasspor and i would highly recommend scouting the made up teams players there are some quality ones other playes ive signed on the cheap are called holdimejo and bouwman and the other leagues A teams that arnt licenced particually petorbenov from fc kholugavinsk he's easilly good enough for any team a real bargain oh and a dutch striker called overnoor a german defender called rothzeitz a turkish midfielder called tecikegil. hope this helps you out

A lot of Arsenals. Such as Ramsey, Wilshere. Also some players such as Baxter, Jovetic, Santon, Camacho,, etc.

A lot of the players you mention are very good players and therefore their respective teams would like to keep them.. I try with young players, unknown players and loan transfers. There's a lot of great players out there. Try searching the transfer and loan list - your upcoming star could be there..

Ive just broke into the top four in my fourth season and ive now signed Saivet, Ashley Young, Arnautovic and Carrizo.

^ Jeez mate. You got Arnautovic. Lucky one. I loaned him for a half season - awesome player. Then i tried buying him 5 times but they rejected every one - Too bad since he scored quite a few times.

Micolli or w/e from Palermo is honestly better than Ribery and imo better than Kaka. Worth about 1 mil, has got to be bought. Some guy used him against me online and was tearing my precious Lazio defence to pieces. I thought he must of been using a cheat or something cos he was amzingly fast and was hitting the bar from 35 yards out! He must of been in excellent form or something.
@Ramus - So if i win the World Cup with Brazil i will unlock Pele to use in my ML?

Not bad transfers, Hewanks-Blake doing good when I am 1 or 2 up but not against bigger teams, Gibson is doing great passing, McGivern came in for fatigued David Weir and I haven't looked back, Paterson and Martin are yet to play so far.
I got offered good money for Mendes, which I took as he is getting on a bit now and I needed a replacement and Gibson is oung and was on the transfer list so I spotted someone just like Mendes (Good on the ball), and I sold Lafferty because he is a big load of shite and wasn't getting on, Chelsea signed him for like £11 Million, which isn't bad.

i just got the game 3 hours ago gotta say on some aspects the games better some aspects its flawed none the less i guess as i adjust to it itl get better i have to say im on top professional and to score goals with ease does not seem an option no more but im guessing that because im struggling to adjust to the new dribbling format well iv started as man utd because i want to get a feel for the game and understand everything before i do my own creation which im going to love but anyways my only 2 signings were
wijnaldum - my absolute favourite
hazard - im hoping will live up to his real expectations so far has scored a couple of goals spent about 7 million alltogther on them two im currently looking at that polish youngster whos super good and also garay and fazio and dont not forgetting forestieri and also guilherme the left back and the striker!!

Micolli or w/e from Palermo is honestly better than Ribery and imo better than Kaka. Worth about 1 mil, has got to be bought. Some guy used him against me online and was tearing my precious Lazio defence to pieces. I thought he must of been using a cheat or something cos he was amzingly fast and was hitting the bar from 35 yards out! He must of been in excellent form or something.

i found a guy who has a decent stats, called ILUCZNICA, from poland, a central midfield. i bought him when i just finished my 1st season. by that time he is 18 but almost every stats on 80 (except FK) already.
another guy called PEBBLEGARTH, from england. can play as side back or side midfield. bought him at the beginning of first season, dont expect him to be amazing at the beginning, but i think he does have potential.
both of them came cheap. hope it helps!

Haha - understand you perfectly. But we don't know if the guy was only talking about pele didn't being on the Brazilian classic team. Maybe he is still an unlockable player.. Don't know.

sold valencia due to the fact i didnt play him much and when i did he didnt really show anything which would keep him at united.
still having problems trying to sign heitinga or ramos.

apparently cwarim, pele to name a few arent there. I think they said you cant unlock classic players via classic teams.
Just signed Nicolaj Agger (danish forward) Awesome stats at the age of 22. Scored in his debut. Signed Sellin from Rosenborg as well. An other great striker.
But one i would recommend: J. Philippe (argentine striker - Boca Juniors)

I bought Lennon on master league for 23mill yet instead on improving like all the other young players, he is geting worse despite being 22. His pace and all his other stats are plumeting, I take it this is a glitch, but its a bloody annoying one as I only noticed it recently and can't rele justify restarting master league. Anyone else have this issue with Lennon?

I bought Lennon on master league for 23mill yet instead on improving like all the other young players, he is geting worse despite being 22. His pace and all his other stats are plumeting, I take it this is a glitch, but its a bloody annoying one as I only noticed it recently and can't rele justify restarting master league. Anyone else have this issue with Lennon?
either try sell him or up the training. i havent had lennon but i was thinking of getting him so maybe not
problem i am having is now 3/4 way through my second season and i have noticed that berbatov seems to be dropping a bit. mainly seems like it is speed and stamina so i have changed the training technique to see if it works. maybe try that. see what stats lennon is plummeting in and adjust the training to counter that.
may i say to anyone looking at good young players, barrientos is another great player to get. seems to be on fire since i have signed him
now with me being 3/4 way through the second season. i am through to the cup final(only just, had problems scoring in the cup games, most went to extra time), champions league semis and also top of the league with united. cant seem to lose in the league. managed to keep on my winning streak by bouncing back to defeat chelsea 3-1. such an immense game, chelsea scored first, i equalised in the 75th minute. then after that chelsea went to sleep and allowed me to get 2-1 up and then fire a brilliant header in for 3-1
strange seeing as on the same difficulty i only managed to get 1-0 against bordeaux

well then you probly are right in it being a glitch. if there is no in game points affecting it then its all it can be. i aint sure if it will be just a glitch on your game or for everyone elses. i havent used lennon on masterleague so i wouldnt know.
i guess all you can do is keep training him and maybe make sure he is used well either that or get rid of him in the transfer window
on another topic has anyone playing united sold valencia??? i got rid of him cos i just felt he didnt play well, scored i think 2-3 goals in the entire time i had him which compared to the amount of game time he had wasnt good.

I started with lowest of the low, WE United, with a budget of just £1.7 million less costs. Wanted to work my way up with a very small team rather than go straight into premiership. Most of my squad are worth £50k to £90k. But I have not managed to buy anyone yet, not even the player I created myself worth just £100k!

my ml is coming on well. near the end of season two. won the league but now my form seems to be dropping as i have suffered 2 1-1 draws in the past 3 games. managed to scrape by to a 1-0 win against chelsea to get the cup and won an epic 3-2 battle against real madrid to win the champions league. and even after this i still seem to be having trouble trying to sign a defender like heitinga or ramos

I signed Barjaktarevic (swedish keeper) from Kalmar FF. He's now 24 years so he is around 22 in the beginning of the game (don't know how many seasons you've played so far). But he plays great in the premier league for me.
youth keeps is my only advice, use them as a last resort. you might find some decent ones too

i think its every season. the goal keeper i got from the youth team wasnt there in the first season and appeared during my second season
on that not just ended my 2nd season well. although final match drew 3-3 in an epic manchester derby

although im amazed at how easily players are leaving city. a few left within the first season. and now at the start of the 3rd season robinho has gone to tottenham. even chelsea too. deco and lampard have moved on.
i picked up a ml youth player from a spanish team to strengthen up my defence.

My guess would be no. Even if you do a search there's basically no 15-16 year old players on the list (unless they're signed as professional)

regarding to the youth issue, you cannot sign other team's youth unless they promote them to be professional. On top of that, from my experience, you cannot sign them when they just signed the professional contract, you gotta wait for a bit. Goodluck with that!
i am in my 2nd season, the month of march. I am a die-hard Manchester United fan so obviously using united. Recently trying to play without Wazza cos he is way too strong, too easy to score when he is playing... dont wanna be Ronney-dependent!!

The only signings I've made in the 1 and a half season I have been playing. Started out by the way with the original PES United team, then changed it to form my own team F.C. Evolution. So many of the original players still in my team. Sold off Metelger (Because I wasn't playing him at all) R. Acuna (Because he was a national player, and like metelger I didn't give him his deserving playing time.)
Transfers In
Well three players from my youth program. And on Loan I have Dadda from the dutch club VVV Venlo. Although young he is capable, and a damaging right foot on him. Trying at the moment to get the necessary players to fill in after my older players have moved on. But like many ppl have found out. Getting transfers isn't anymore a question of just laying down crazy amounts of money. If your team ranks low, which it should from the start unless ofcourse you pick to start with a monsterhouse team "Madrid, Barca, ManU." But for me the simply reason why I am having a hard time with getting transfers. Is simply either my team is still too low. Although winning my Div 2 and doing rather well in Div 1 battling it out with Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord at the moment. But seeing that the team rankings are only adjusted once a season. I can only hope that by season 2 some nehsayers will finally wise up and strenghten my team. And ofcourse wanting a transfer from a team that knows that they will weaken and make you stronger with a transfer that is not listed on the transfer list or on the loan list will ofcourse make almost every transfer hit a brick wall.
Damn yeah I was at work at had nothing to do :P.

With knowing that I'll just raise it to reasonable level just to keep my master league challenging. I've always played Master League so getting used to it was a breeze for me :). But yeah I already promoted three of my juniors, and they where at realistic levels of 50 to 58. And one of them was put on as a sub and was the reason for the win on Hammarby Football (is that correct?) in my Europe League making me a cruise for the knockout matches to come.
It was even for my team a surprise I was added to the Europe League, as I was used to winning the div 2 and then having to wait a year. But making a great start and wadding the water to find that one player to become accessible. And with people with having problems in finding that one great player. In the end great stats could mean greatness or with me the case over greatness with a player completely not adding to the team.
At the moment I'm placing the play I have as well as possible. And searching out on feelings and ofcourse at the teams with a high scoring average. And from those teams trying to scout a possibility of transfer. And I've made sure that I found exchanging players in the season previous. And trying to discover like in real life. Attention of some time could mean the steps to change.
Okay enough talk of the Tactician :S Sorry if my ranting gets to long some one just stop :P.

Started ML with Default Players, WE United, Top Player Difficulty.
Finished my first season 14th. 6 wins, many many losses. Top scorer: Hamsun 6
Spent the summer selling the dead wood. Invested heavily (500,000) on lv2 scout. Promoted 5-6 youth players: Schwarz, Palmieri, Kooistra, Kim Jong Yeol (sp?) Pelaez etc, signed a handful of free agents: Hoffer CF 69, David Stockdale GK 61 and Mingazzini CMF 65.
Im now in mid-Feb. Im 17th in the table (out of 18). Won 6 games, lost most of the others. Schwarz top scorer with 7. Just about all of the remaining Default Players are always on Purple form with broken heart loyalty! I reckon I'm about 10 years from thinking about promotion from Div2 at this rate!
However, I've just agreed terms for a winger; Alejandro 71. Another Free agent. Hopefully some more freebies will be available in the summer in the 70's bracket!
So, a very different game to taking the suppposed easy way out as Madrid, ManU etc!!!

i sort of cheated. i reloaded the other save that havn't signed silva yet. then i got lucky. i signed Hamsik from Napoli, Zarate from Lazio (both forgot how much), Agbonlahor from Villa (16.4million) and Silva from Valencia (this time only 68million) in one single transfer window. gonna sign some defenders and probs one more midfield but yeah now my team is pretty completed.

i m with my favourite Manchester United. just started my 3rd season. i had quite a decent amount of cash because i didnt (well, "couldn't" would be the better word) sign many players before this transfer window and i earned quite a lot of cash from matches and sponsors.
i found something quite annoying, i wanted to sign that keeper Akinfeev and i notcied that he came back up through the youth cause he was 19 and i went in to edit mode and checked his age and it was about 23.
ive done nearly 2 seasons in ML and he must have already retired and the age of 24 so his stats will have gone down so im thinking that konami are making players retire whenever they like which sucks.

again the league cup seems to e my downfall. just scraped through the second leg with some sloppy goals
still trying to get heitinga and ramos. if anyone sees a young turkish defender. name begins with t, i cant spell it so i aint probly much help. but he has overall rating of 78 i think. dont get him. i got him and am trying to sell him. form is terrible. i have only played him once due to him being out of form constantly

the problem in Lennon case is that his growth is set to low/peak at young age, this is the same in the previous PES editions, he will peak at like 23, then he will start to drop, idk why konami has this set for some players, sometimes its true, like joaquim from valencia, he peaks at mid 20s, then begins to drop, by the time hes 28-29 hes losing 2-3 pts in attributes per season...with joaquim i see this as true, but with lennon ud have to change in the edit option..

You could try what I did and put the players you want to sign into PES or WE United (in edit mode), then select them in Division 2 and then look through their players and they should be there.
Try scouting Kraslavik. (midfielder from stabaek)
In my 3rd season I saw Ribery and Beckham as youth. So they are in the game, but you will have to wait a season or two and then get lucky with singing them.
yeah i saw both of them as well. but ribery doesnt seem too good so dont think i will have him.
i brought casllias from real madrid obviously the scout deals with tranfers and it came to 30mil and with all staff costs paid out im now low on money quite badly.

The thing is, unless you are seriously short on players, there is nothing that can cost you. Therefore, you will just keep earning and earning money untill next August. So you are pretty much fine.

well i have everything on the top level. top in the premierleague. i am number1 on the team ranking and i am still having problems

In my opinion it shouldn't make it harder signing players because of that. (unless you reached maximum number of players of course)
But if you chase a player who is happy at his current club, it may be harder signing him. If you have everything on level 5, then your scout gives updates from time to time - letting you know if the players on your scout list is unhappy at their clubs. If yes, then it's a bit easier to get them..

i think that might be half my problem. although i am trying to get rid of 3 players and one retiring i still am full up on the squad.
thats one niggling problem i havent liked. squad limits, i didnt like it when it happend on pes2008. cos i think wasnt it pes6 that had no squad limits? or was it just higher then 32?
on another note, dont release a player. i made this mistake and the whole team became unhappy. so i loaded it back up so i hadnt made that mistake. i wont be doing that again. lol

i think that might be half my problem. although i am trying to get rid of 3 players and one retiring i still am full up on the squad.
thats one niggling problem i havent liked. squad limits, i didnt like it when it happend on pes2008. cos i think wasnt it pes6 that had no squad limits? or was it just higher then 32?

What a deal. :)
Just resigned him 6 months later for about £4,000,000.

Yes, a "severance package". It's usually around fifty to sixty thousand pounds, and when you do it, it makes the rest of your team slightly unhappy "at the way the club treats its players".
On a separate note, I sold Darren Fletcher (87-rated at the time) for forty-five million pounds. I then bought an 79-rated player (called Juan Mata) for four million pounds, trained him up with 1-on-1 finish, passing, outside curve, and got his stats to 89 before AC Milan offered me fifty-four million for him. Not a bad bit of business there!

Well, it seems like it's too easy to make buisness and earn money in pes, at least for the big clubs. :/ Look at Liverpool and Arsenal, as well as Manchester United. Liverpool can't afford many big names, Arsenal can afford a few, but still only buys talented players, and Manchester United are making huge buisnesses, not to mention Barca are offering ManU 95M for Rooney( real life), but they are still in debt and can't afford too many expensive players, because of debts. I hope it will be as hard to manage an world class team as it is to manage an low rated team.

I feel you. It takes a lot of patience. It's also coming when you least expect it. When I first started, I chased Aguero for a year as I wanted to play an 4-4-2 with a second world class striker next to Torres. I failed, chasing him for a year, so I changed formation and armed myself with some wings. At the end of the year, after finishing my squad, surprise, I had a chance to buy him, for 104M, though. I had the money, but I declined. I stayed with my current formation. A season later, I was deseperately in need of an Wing and CMF, I chased Silva and VDV. I then went for Mata, and, surprise, after a while, VDV accepted negotiations. I bought him, but I had no use in him...It also happened with Pique. SEriously lol GTFO. :P
Holy f... Just bought Kraslavik (great stats) Midfielder. However he doesn't seem to get any experience points after the matches. Being only 23 i find this quite strange. Only his team work abilities raises..

I've had 2 players out on loan for the past 2 seasons. One, a GK, hasnt gotten many games and therefore not much of an improvement but the other, a CF, has played regularly and scored a few goals and his stats are getting very good!

^ Sure there's no guarantee that he will be played at the club whereto he is loaned.
But While your player is away on loan you can go to team information, and select the club. Then select your player, and press R1 a couple of times. Then you see appearences, goals scored, rating average etc..

Go to My Team in the Negotiations page and you can see yr Loan players.
You just need to loan them to a bad team and they will get their game. Check the team before you loan the player but generally if they want him on loan they'll probably give him soem play time - its a bit of a lottery though!

well i released the defender and kept it like that. and like said earlier in the thread after a game the other players will go back to normal
am now in negotiations with a 21yo dmf with stats of 82. hopefully i will be sucessful this time.
just had a good few games. won 3-1 against chelsea in the league. they scored first from a free kick and then when i got one back they sort of gave up. and also 3-0 home win against shakhtar donesk in the cl quarter finals.
I'm now with an eye on a lot of players. I only have 10M and I'm in November currently. I have bought two promising players I will be training. I'm now training El-zhar, Vela, and Ilcuznic. They are all showing extremely great performance, yet, none of them I plan on keep. Don't know why. I'm keeping my eye on Silva, Menez, Arbeloa, Santon and a few more. Will try to purchase some of them when I earn money after selling the players I mentioned earlier(If they continue the performance, I can get with no problem atleast 40M for each)
^ Vela seems good for arsenal after a few years, in my pes hes top scorer which seems unreal

But you can't sell them directly from youth team - first you have to sign a professional contract, then you can play them and develop them and thereby sell them if you like.. The insanely good players from youth team could bring in some serious money, i assume :)

i dont see how it is completely unrealistic for young players to have them stats
look how players like robinho, rooney, messi, walcott, delph either at their young ages now or how they were when they first caught the eye of the top teams. they were amazing

If he plays like a talent (ups and downs) and maybe develop kind of slowly, so he doesn't have like 90 in keeper skills at the age of 18 i may change my opinion regarding the youth players..
Or if they just stop developing at the age of maybe 24-25 since they start with that good stats..
Well if all youth players had high stats then most clubs would just have youth players and not bother with 1st team players.

Don't know if these guys have been mentioned yet but I bought:
Diego Capel & Pedro Leon.
Capel is a wing rocket, skips past most defenders, and gets in good crosses, has got a fair few assists for me so far.
Leon is not as quick, but is skillful, and always seems to pop up at the back post to slot home a vital goal.
2 to watch out for, and both young.

atm i have played 4 games in season 4, sat 4th won 3 and lost one
what i am amazed is that wolves are sat 2nd winning 3 and drawing 1 and arsenal are sat 19 with only one point in 4 games and failing to score in any of the games played

Only foreigner is Stevan Jovetic, but after one season i'm about to place him on the transfer list. He had a good start, but that's it..

I always found it a struggle to get trade transfers through in 2009. I don't really feel the loss as I always had much more success buying players outright.
i loved that trading tranfers! not only it saves my budget, it also helps getting rid of the players that are useless to me!
Yeah i miss it too. At the moment i have 3 players on loan, due to financial problems. Since i'm no longer participating in CL thanks to Lille, i might have to sell some players soon..

I dont find the need for trade transfers now. The loan/transfer status thing works well enough for me so if I need to offload soemone I can. In earlier PES games it could be impossible to sell players unless you had no money and then the CPU would flood you with transfer offers!

Sold Wiland at the age of 33 - only got 1 million euro despite him being first keeper for 3 seasons!
Now i'm desperate to sign a striker, when Jovetic (hopefully soon) will be leaving.

Ah, ok. Well Insua and Santon are both very very cheap. They become very very good in the later seasons though, don't expect them to shine on their first years.

He has scored some crazy goals for me. I think his accuracy is about 86-88 now. Agree with you about the strength, he always holds the ball up well for me.
So far I'm looking at D. Silva. He is a dream player for me. I wanted him forever in Liverpool, and I was glad Benitez kept eyes on this amazing player. Too bad ManU will interrupt and buy him with all their money...
Anyways, once Gerrard, unfortunately and hope hope it will never happen, gets old, Silva will replace him. I'm gathering money now to buy him, and I'm pretty sure he will cost me all my savings. But it will be worth it.
I had a CF in my youth team with around 60 ratings, I decided to sign him, and he showed up with 90 overall rating at my door :) And he's only 16...
His name is Sidibe.

I'm not that active in the transfers since my team is pretty much perfect and I have enough players. I did test a few players, such as Mata, Rosseniti, Kjaer, Menez, Jovetic. Mata is a great player, but he somehow was too slow for me as a winger. Rosseniti was a full back I needed, but I failed to notice I bought the wrong foot. Sold him. Kjaer is an great CB, a bit slow, but very strong and big. Menez is very fast and accurate SS, which can also play a great CF or winger. He is still not that great in his early year, but at around age of 23 (1-2 years from now) he jumps with rating and skills, a huge boost, and becomes one of the better strikers I knew. Around 86 stats at 23 age. Jovetic was the worst. He failed to be any good in the wing, or CF, the same as SS. Was too slow. He is very very strong and handles the ball great, and is very accurate. He might actually be a decent AMF.
Another player I'm more than statesfied is Rasmus...This is my 3rd time me playing as Liverpool, and in all of the 3 I bought him. I just find him a part of Liverpool now. He ain't a superstar therefore he won't rape the hell out of anyone, but he is extremely fast and strong, and delivers great and accurate shots/passes, which makes him a very very special player, just what I needed.

Okay so a little update. I'm currently trying to pick up a keeper as that is my main concern right now. So I'm going for Diego and Akinfeev. But here are some players my friends had recommended me and I wondered if you guys had any insight on them. Baring in mind I'm Hull City, this is my first season and I spent most of my money getting all my trainers and scouts up to lvl 2 etc. I play on top player if that makes any difference BTW.

lol im hull city as well but the majority ov players are hard to get, tosic didnt want to come n same with evens, macheda n rodwell you might be able to get on loan but as for the rest i dunno i thought they were out ov reach for the likes ov hull

Who would have thought Hull would go on to win the premiership just beat chelsea 1-0 and I drew against Man U. I have got so freaking lucky should have lost most games but for some reason balls just haven;t gone in and my long shots have. Not to mention everytime I have plaued chelsea I have played their second stringers which I find hilarious.

Ye i noticed the top 4 play some ov ther young guns, FA cup i played liverpool/arsenal and man utd and won them all since they played a weaker side but they always play a stronger side in the league and its defo harder then for me
On topic i tend to wait till end ov the season before i bring in new players, chances are some ov the old players play well in the season thus making them more valuable like i shipped boateng for 7.5mil and his stats were dropping and was worth 2mil if tht

Aydin Yilman is probably my most influential player. Stats are still only around 74 overall, but he's quick on the dribble, and decent enough all-around stats that he's always one of my best players. My team though, as you can see, isn't composed of superstars.
Anyone has ever tried Korkmaz? From Eintracht Frankfurt... and Fenin? Ochs? Schürrle? Grimaldi? Carlton Cole? Schwegler? They are good for me.
And they're all at Eintracht (all but Grimaldi, Schürrle & Carlton Cole)... If you guys have the PESEdit patch, it may be good to look at those...
Korkmaz : amazing side midlfielder, young, freaking fast
Fenin : great SS, can play as CF or WF on both sides, young
Ochs : right defender (RB), improves like hell
Schürrle : good SS, can play on the wings (WF and SMF) aswell as CF, starts at 18
Grimaldi : tall striker, young and great ability to retain the ball and shooting skills, plus he's fast
C. Cole : I bet you know him... he's unexpensive so... why not?
Schwegler : great DMF, can play CMF and SMF both sides, gets 80s aged 23-24 if I'm correct...

I am playing with Bayern Munich, Third Season.
As I had only 10 million Euro Budget at the beginning, I was not able to hold every Player. I've released Toni, Klose, H. Altintop and some Benchholders. At the end I had about ~35 million of Cash. First I thought it would be the best to buy a decent youngster but than I decided to invest in my personal. I set up the level on every section to maximum.
Than Lahm, Schweinsteiger and Ottl started to get some pretty experience. Now in my third season all of them developed pretty good. Lahm has 85 overall Rating, Schweinsteiger 84 and Ottl has got 80.
In the summer period Chelsea was about to buy Schweinsteiger for 35 million. But as Lahm, Schweinsteiger and Gomez are my most important players I just cant led him go. Expecially not as I am in the Champions League Knockout phase.

Give Lahm and Schweinsteiger a go! They should be pretty cheap at the beginning of the master league. Later they will become very expensive!
I'm at the end of my 2nd season with Liverpool, and Gerrard is about to be my best scorer. :P Most from free kicks.

Just finished another season with the tigers winning the FA cup by getting a chelsea player sent off and winning 3-1 and coming 7th in the league
But i have a major problem i cant sign anyone, everyone i gone for jus wont negotiate at all, 3 transfer windows have gone and i cant buy anyone, its taking the piss, anyone got any tips?

I think lvl3 atm, i keep going for cheap good youngsters but nothing yet, even transfer listed players wont come yet but i might be going after players above hulls limit

maybe make sure you have the space in the squad. increase scout level. but youngsters is always the best to go for
i seem to have the opposite problem. i cant seem to sell evra. tried for the past 1 1/2 seasons. no one wanted him, eventhough he actually scored a few goals.
I was turning back offers of 28 + 30 million for Evra in my first season cos I couldn't get a good enough replacement.
Karim Benzema is sick is this game. The last 2 season he have scored 50+ goals for me, and in the middle of this season (the third) he's already scored 39 and is on a 96 overall rating. He also won the footballer of the year, season 2 and this year (third)

Hey everyone, this is my first post since I've only been playing PES2010 since today... and what a joy it has been so far :)
I fell in love with the game after having played numerous hours on PES2008, and since I don't own an xbox360 for that long I decided to start off again with PES, even though all my friends own Fifa and I've gotten pretty good at that game too, but it just didn't cut it for me.. I mean, having played Fifa09 a lot (and I mean a lot) and even having played Fifa 10 a lot I was never convinced that that game was any better than PES, far from even!
I started off with Chelsea, but I'm planning on starting a ML shortly with PSV as well (I'm dutch...). Anyone familiar with that club? They nearly beat AC Milan in 2006 during the qtr final of the CL... it was a good year :)
Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and hopefully you guys can give me some pointers whenever I need them... I think I'm gonna start the BAL tomorrow, can't wait to see what more lies ahead in this game!

By the way... is there an update available for PES2010 already? Because a lot of players who've been transfered to other teams are still in their old team.. If you only look at Real Madrid.. They still have Robben and Sneijder while they both have starting positions in two other very respectable teams!
