Does anyone know if you you can import chants on the Xbox360 version? Or is it just the PC and PS3 versions that allow you to do that?

I cant find any info on if you're able to do this on Xbox? And I don't mean flashed consoles.

Cheers lads :erm:

u will only be able to add chants to the iso image meaning ud need a modded console to run it as 360 does not support mp3 usb importing

Cool okay Daymos, so there maybe a way of doing it with a standard unmodded xbox? Because with the full kits etc. this would make playing in the EPL alot more realistic & fun =)

I hope there is some way around it dougiej2005 because modding my 360 is prob not possible for me =(

neilez2 has put together Chant Packs for most leagues - as a test i downloaded the russian league (2 teams) and unpacked the mp3's - so in theory if there is someway of creating chants on xbox360 (unmodded) then we could download his chants then need to figure out a way to get them across to the xbox? (well done to Neilez2 for a fantastic effort by the way!).

v1.1 chants packs can be found here:

any thoughts??

Ok..

This is how my one works..

i have got chants similar to the way Neilez2 has done it but mine have been edited..

ive looped many songs to make them longer and if also made the sound gradually get louder then gradually fade out at the end..

how does it work..

i have developed a way to just play random chants or even silences throughout the game in a realistic way.

So far i have a few chants for individual teams but i need to make a generic one so it can be used on any team..

So lets say your doing a league.. plug in a usb stick into the 360 and select the chants as you would music.. select the home team and then its more realistic.. make sure the volume of the chants is not too low or loud.. you dont want to drown out the comentary.. although i was saying to Cowson.. that may not be a bad thing.. lol

ill post up a video one day soon showing how its done..

Yes but you play it on random

Sometimes you will hear a chant sometimes you wont.. it rotates very random and realistically TRUST ME!!!

What do You mean i will play it on random?

Each team has approx 40 different chants and also 30 blank audio.. (to space out the chants)

pretend its music and play on random through the xbox 360 so the order of the tunes (chants) change each time..

Its a very cheap method but greatly affective..

the only bad point is at the begging when you turn it on.. and at the end when you have to turn it off...

i actually leave the chants playing right up until i pics the teams and play my next game

I then have to select the chants for the new team in question if they are at home.. ill make a vid very soon so you can see how it actually turns out...

When ive done all the teams ill pick the songs that can apply to any team

And create a generic pack..

What you think..?

basically you mean u select your songs from usb and play them as media in conjunction with the game ie in the background, nice idea but stop starting is gonna annoy some folk but looking forward to seeing how it turns out

well you can do it on any chant pack thats out there at the moment but there are no blank chants so to hear 1 song after the next continiously will become tedious..

also when the song are looped and blended in.. it makes a big difference..

Try these samples

Very interesting Daymos – Last year I put together chant packs for every team in the EPL for FIFA09, I started by using a stop watch to time my average game… I usually play 10min halves (20min total) and added in some extra time for subs & replays etc. Then I would create individual albums for each team (I’ll use Everton as a example) –

• Create a playlist starting with the Match of the Day jingle followed by the Official EPL Anthem
• Then I would play the ‘run on theme’ used at Goodison Park followed by a list of Chants and silent tracks.
• The chants included “Feed the Yak’ ‘Davey Moyes’ etc. & loads of classic Everton chants.
• I also added in extra generic cheers and crowds shouting abuse etc (example ‘blue & white shite!’ chant.
• I always made sure I left lots of silent tracks to break it up and added reverb to the chants so that they sounded like they were in a stadium.
• I had even timed my matches so that the EPL anthem would also play at halftime and then at the closure of the match (for this I used the EPL Anthem remix).
• For FA Cup matches I had a different tracklist that included chants like ‘we’re going to Wembly’ etc.

This meant that the game felt so much more real and interesting – but my only issue was that (as an Everton nut) I got a bit sick of the chants happening exactly the same each home game – for the away matches it didn’t matter because for example I would only play those teams twice usually in a season. Therefore I am very interested in your suggestion of using a random playlist so that each game is completely different (I could use that idea for home matches in Master league. My only issue is that I love having the games start with the EPL anthem etc.)

Because I love playing international matches as Australia I even put together a tracklist starting with the FoxSports intro and properly sung Anthem (from a live footy match) then I added the sound effects of fireworks etc to create the big International game atmosphere.

I think it would be fantastic if you put together a tracklist of generic chants (it would be a good start). I also would love to hear what chants you have for Everton =P

The great thing now for me (moving over to PES from FIFA) is that I no longer have to use all my Champions League and Europa League tracklists because PES has all the correct tunes!!

That was a long post….. =/

Hey mate..

What you have done sounds crazy but very brilliant... lol

Only thing.. as you said,, you begin to learn the order of the chants for your main team and can become boring after a while..

Unfortunatly my method cant be mixed with your music method due to the randomness.. you would get music coming on mid game.. lol

What you could do is my method as normal but set your songs up on a seperate stereo just the way you liked it at half time...

the reason i posted the chants is to give people an understanding of howe it works.. im hoping there are some audio editors out there too that may want to go through some of the team..

At the moment i can do 1 team per evening.. (along with other things i do on a regular evening..)

If anyone knows how to use something like Nero wave editor then give it a try.

Did you unpack the rar file..?

theres mp3 files inside

edit.. just incase you havent streamed music from a portable device in the xbox 360..

you have to press the big button on your pad.. (forgot the name lol )

go to select music.. then you have the option to stream music from the portable device plugged in (usb) or any music you may have on your hard drive

go into you use and select the Aston Villa folder..

if you find it ok..

select random play.. is the sign that looks like ( = ) but gets tangled when you press it ( X )

hopefully it should be ok
