Is anybody else watching this new series?
I've been waiting for it for a while but I wasn't a little unsure of what to expect, I wasn't sure if their humour would work well in a sit-com.
But I was wrong, it's great. I've watched their stuff for years and it's nice to see some of the old characters popping up for little cameos. Some good actors in it too (Charlie Higson, Dennis out of Aufweidersen Pet, the guy out of League of Gentlemen, Matt Lucas...). In fact it's probably the best thing I've seen for a while.
If you haven't got digital then make sure you catch it when it's shown on BBC2, it's great :)
It is great, I didn't really get into it untill the episode I saw last night on BBC3. It is quite dark but I would recomend it to anyone, well not anyone but anyone who likes vick and bob. Matt Lucas is as hilarious as ever.

It's good I like the way it's sort of like a serious drama but totally messed up, and when that guy was singing the smiths song, and the "I'll give you head in a minute."

Hehe yeah, I love those bits that just kind of appear from nowhere.
My favourite part so far has to be the phone conversation where Carl pretends to phone George Clooney then there's the confusion over the eggs.
It's quite fun trying to pick out all the characters from the other shows. These are the ones I've managed to get:
I think Chris was the bouncer in the night-club sketches they used to do.
The head Police guy was the entertainer (Kinky John) in the same sketch.
The guy who got run over by the cross-eyed woman is one of the homeless guys who goes looking for 'fun' in skips and stuff in another of their sketches.
I'm sure I've seen Carl before but I can't think what part he played...
when that guy was singing the smiths song
What smiths song was it?
When is it going to be shown on BBC2?

I don't know, it'll be about a month after the last episode is shown on BBC3. That's what happened with Little Britain anyway.
I watched it tonight on BBC3, I'll probably need to watch the next couple of episodes to really get into it. It was quite funny though.

I not big on the smiths so I don't know the name, but it's the one with the "pull me in, pull me in...." line in it, it just looked funny the way he was singing along.
I've gotta say it's well put together, british comedy is definately peeking, and the bbc's leading the way, channel 4 need to sort themselves out, what happened to Jam and Spaced replaced by more F***in FRIENDS.

Damn the Beeb for putting it on their dig channels. I guess they do it so people get them... I really wanted to see it but maybe it will make its way onto Beeb2 one day.
