Whats the biggest transfer fee or offer you've received?
I was offered 41m by Real Madrid for Hamsik! I turned them down, am I mad?!

In any other version of this game I would have said yes. But with the current gameplay in which for me atleast it is extremely hard to get the players I want. 41Mil with no players willing to play for you. I would have made the same decision :).

my biggest signing has probly been about £8 million. although the biggest selling for me was valencia. sold him for £27 million. although ac milan offered me £42 million for fletcher. i declined it cos i use him and well with the last day of the transfer window i wasnt suceeding at getting big name players

My thoughts exactly! I could have ploughed it into the Youth team but I'd still rather have my star player!
I was offered 41M euros for Babel, at the age of 22 with overall rating of 79. I wasn't really surprised. I have let Babel a lot of chances to play and have tried to train him as much as I can. I'm sure I can make him as good as Torres when he will be around 25. I bought Pique for 38M, however, I did not know he is only CB, so he is pretty much useless for me, lol. He is sitting there, doing nothing...I feel dumb for doing such an useless signing.
BTW I would never accept any offer for any of my players. I have turned down offers for Kuyt, Riera, Benayoun, and much more. NFS! I do wonder how much I can get for Torres, heh. He is currently top scorer in everything. :P

Train him with a new position. It costs about 2m I think but it depends on the position

Man, I had a match against ManC, and robinho totaly ripped off my defence, I eventually lost 3-1 to them. I was 1st with 9 points away from the second, but an annoying tie and 2 loses and it's now even, and Chelsea is at top with the same points, but higher goals. :(
I use Real Madrid in ML. During the 1st winter transfer window, Inter offered 44m pounds for van der Vaart. So yeah I sold him and I bought Ribery for 49m pounds. Meanwhile, Barcelona bought Frey for 17m pounds and Buffon for 40m pounds at the same time on the beginning of the following season.
Other crazy deal was Camoranesi joined Tottenham for 23m pounds.

I know that, but the point was he is a defender. I can't make him a striker or something. ^^
I tried making him learn been Back Wing, maybe it will increase his SB rating, but it didnt. Eventually, I sold him for 48M! It's an 10M profit for me. ^^ And exactly when I needed to money. I was only 2 weeks away from having to pay my salarys, and the whole month it jumped me I didn't have enough money. Phew. I have Signed C.Vela, for 24m now, as I'm not too happy with jovetic. I have no put him for sell. I have 18M left now ^^
Well you can train him so he can also play as a striker (but still his prefered position will be side back) but you can though..

wow exactly what i did. as soon as i started my ml got giovinco too. probly my best buy.

But when you as player make the same team changes, that then is different? I just see it as the AI like the player goes to make the strongest team. Although not always being the case, but it wouldn't kill the game for me. Cause certain players would just stay with there team if they really would want to. And for me even with the big changes in the biggest clubs. They still remain hard as hell to beat.

I think it's hard to sign a player if he's in a big club, doing well in their respective league even if you're team is good. I'm AC Milan, won the UCL and Scudetto the first season, and is #1 rank in the world. I have around 300 million yet, I was unable to sign Agger, Torres, Villa, Higuain, Van Persie, or Chygrynsky. They were all starters for their club, except for Agger, and Chygrynsky was on Dynamo Kiev so I don't know why but he wouldn't join. However, I signed Zarate for around 40 million euros, and his stats was 86 at the age of 23. But he was still on Lazio and I don't think they were doing too well.

During the winter transfer window, Chelsea offered 63m for higuain, very tempting, but still dont want to sell. Sold Nistelrooy to Milan for 16m. Huntelaar was sold by milan for $15m (will it happen in the real life ^^). Oh I signed villa for 37m after so many previous offers rejected.

I got Zarate for 45 million myself a few years back. If regularly played, he advances to around a 94 overall rating. He's an excellent dribbler (just not as good as Messi) and if you train him up in 1-on-1 finish, he'll get you bagfuls of goals.

atm messi looks rather likely, broke down the first time due to wage demands. usually when that has happend to me i just win a few more matches get rid of a player and then try again.

If I were you I would get Ronaldo. At least it's an much more "realistic" transfer. ^^ (Eventhought its not so realistic anyways)
Infact, did you buy any world class players? If you are in season 2-3 you might have not only weak weak wings (the only one I can think of is Nani, don't know about park ji-sung and I heard bad things about valencia. Giggs is too old) Did you buy any strikers? Berbatoc is probably old now, owen as well, the only option I can think of is MAcheda but he is too young. I guess if you really have a lot of money to spend, Aguero to help rooney, and Ronaldo on the wing could most probably get you every title you need. ^^

The first time I tried to buy him on ML, he cost me 90 million and when I got to November, my club bankrupted and I had to sell him back! So I cheated.
Have finally managed to sign Aguero, after feckin' ages of trying. He is the best player in the game. Will absolutely tear defences to pieces. This season so far, he's bagged me forty goals. 25 in the PL, 10 in the CL, and 5 in the FA Cup. Immense.

By mistake, I put Jovetic on transfer list, and he got angry and broke his heart, but then I found out he needed an contract renewal. Damn I got screwd, he is now leaving me. Here goes 30M down the trash.

well i might try get ronaldo or messi. might be a bit unrealistic but it could happen.

i got rid of valencia. the midfield wing players are good. and well i just need another striker for left wing and thats it, so either ronaldo or messi would be good
Im getting annoyed with clubs trying to buy my players and when i reject my players start to get a strop and get a broken heart so now i have kuszczak, gibson, tosic and obertan all on purple arrows.
Yeah is there anything we can do to make them feel better about the club again in these cases?

Sure, he's got 1-on-1 finish, Fox in the Box, Goal Poacher, and Long Ranger, which would probably add up to a fantastic striker, but I didn't sign him because he was so low-rated. Aguero, on the other hand, becomes a 99 if played consistently. His shot accuracy, power, and technique are all in the high nineties. His dribbling and speed are immense. And (at least in my option file) has Fox in the Box, Poacher, Long Ranger, and Talisman. Not to mention Mazing and Incisive Run. Even a flicker of a chance in the box and he will score nine times out of ten.
Just out of curiosity, though, I'll have to give Torres a go on exhibition and see what he's like.

i use him as a ss of the left wing in my 4-3-3 formation. and he is amazing. i am just amazed how stronger my team is down the left wing. he is proving his worth.
first game of the season owen looked off pace in the centre, and well aguero scored all the three goals in my 3-0 win over blackburn. 2 of the goals came out of nowhere, just an ambitious shot
i think with owen looking off pace now seems to be the time to try sell him, he has had a brilliant 3 seasons, so i might sell him, move aguero into the centre and maybe try get messi/ronaldo for the wing. however i will see how this season goes for owen
on the subject of torres having low stats, ronaldo has a few, shot accuracy only 84, whats up with that, with everything i saw in his last season at united his shot accuracy surely should be say 93/94?

It's what I do on hard matchs, when some of my teamates are tired. It's how I won Manu in the CL, with Torre's late goal, and how I won Real Madrid at the final, with an hattrick of Torres and another goal added up by Kuyt in the Final. Torres has a poor development curve in the game. He's currently in the peak of his curve when the ML starts and he keeps decreasing after that.

I don't know about your data. But like ronaldowb's, torres is also 84 in my data and he keeps getting worse. I think there's another guy in this forum who complain about Torres getting worse and worse. Oh, I still remember how his curve looks like in pes09. Looks like konami didn't change anything on players' curve in pes10 as well, only now you can't see the whole curve.
Or maybe your data got edited on the player development, not standard, probably standard/lasting, late or late/lasting.

I was the guy complaining about Torres getting worse. It's because I edited his age to be younger, but instead of growing, he got worse. When I resetted his age, he is only growing. He started from 84 default data, and he is now 89 on season 4.

i have seen some crazy signings like that. juan mata has gone to man city.
robbie keane has gone to fiorentina.
madrid seem to be like real life though. trying to buy a mass of players. at one point in the last transfer window i had 3 players that real tried to buy, all of them real failed to get.

Same thoughs here. Felipe Melo went from Juve to Barca, then from Barca to PSV...A lot more stars are been transfered to lower teams. All the players now are totaly mixed up.

wow how many seasons in are you? giovinco is worth that much?? i brought him for £17 million back before my first season started.
oh and also kaka has gone from madrid to as roma on mine.
i think i m in my 4th season. giovinco overall stats will go all the way to 9x. 17m is definitely a good piece of business.

Yeah its crazy. Same thing on my real madrid. After the 1st season, I managed to sell metzelder for 37m. Oh my bid on fabregas was finally accepted. Arsenal were asking for 95m. I renegotiated and the fee was agreed on 75m. I still haven't decided whether I should accept this transfer or not.
Other big money transfer was Pato went to arsenal for 76m!!!
Finally i received my first major transfer bid tonight - Sold my captain Oscar Wendt to Villareal after finishing my 4th season. (may be a stupid move) for 42 million Euro. So he just gave me the opportunity to buy 2-3 other players..

I (stupidly or not - all thoughts welcome) paid around £40 million for babel from liverpool. Not cos of his stats but because of love for him from when he was awesome (pes 4 i think). Turned out to be rubbish. lol. Regards

I have him. He is 84 in mine. I invested a lot of skill cards on him. He is very fast and have very accurate shots. He is a very good striker, yet, he ain't as good as the deadly ones (tevez, aguero, torres etc), and he is too weak, so he can't fight over the ball against a defender. But overall, I'm very pleased from him and his performance. I didn't pay a cent though, 40M is too much, eventhough Inter offered me 43M for him last year. :P

Ye that player that we just can't spell his name is pretty decent. But I sold him because I don't need him. I have Ayala and Kelly who are both great youth defenders. He just wouldn't get play time.

i didnt want to risk doing that and lose the chance of getting him. lol i have however at times changed the terms and made the contract longer, but not tried to lower the fee
depending on how much money i have come the end of the season i might be willing to indulge in a few big signings

I have not made uber huge transfers yet, at least fee-wise, but there is quite something going on in my master league and I only just started my second season.
My most expensive signing was Gourcuff for about 32 million. I guess I am pretty lucky here, telling from what I read. I also tried signing Benzema and Aguero a gazillion times already, but always get rejected.
Else, some notable AI transfers are:
Silva: Valencia --> Milan @64.5
Julio Cesar: Inter --> ManU @55.5
Villa: Valencia --> AS Roma @50.5
Pique: Barca --> Juventus @50
Casillas: Real --> Arsenal @49.5
Also Buffon is now with Barca, but I don't know the transfer fee. I would guess it was at least 50.

today i singed silva from valencia fc they gave me an offer of 60mill and i manged to get it down to 40mill its a bit high but i had to take my chances plus i got an offer for nani for 31mill so he went.silva wont be joining till the next window.

I always thought the fun with the ML is building a team from nothing, into the worlds best club. So on that basis, I chose PES United as my team (as i do on all PES games). The biggest money I have spent so far (now in 4th season) is approx £3.5m on Coutadeur which I thought was an amazing deal as he has a 85 overall rating. I recieved £11m for Owen Hargreaves which i accepted straight away. I am finding it hard to sign players who are even on the transfer list...

doesn't it seems that this year the ai transactions are even more messed up than before . i'm in my third season and every season atleast a dozen transfers occur that shouldn't and wouldn't happen in real life . worst is that u can't use this and sign good players for large amount of money but the ai can . unless the player is transfer listed ur chance of signing him is very low . lower if he is an important player for the opposition . doesn't matter how much ur willing to pay . but there are no such restrictions on ai trade .
just an example : this is from my first season , i(juventus) was up man utd in uefa knockout stage . there i was happily playing the game thinking it would be nice to finally play a good game with a premiere league team . (please note that while tinkering with ur gameplan u cant see the opposition's player names) . ok so i was playing with a smile on my face and suddenly i hear something in the commentary while causes me to twitch .."lampard".. (in man u ) anyway i still play on thinking i'll just have to try harder .. no problem but then i hear .. " kaka " . i literally had to pause the game and take a couple of deep breathes . kaka and lampard in man utd together !!! (this was the first season) their midfield was kaka lampard scholes and nani . and i thought 2009 had stupid transfers

Depends.
Sometimes you can renegotiate the fee up to 30%. That is, you can sometimes manage to lower the fee; rarely if ever can you negotiate the fee significantly upwards if you're the seller.
I once was offered Benzema for 113 million and negotiated it down to 76, despite his MV being 113, so thats doable. However, one season before that I also pursued him, and was offered a transfer fee of 78 million and my counteroffer of 70 million was rejected.
A funny thing that once happened to me:
I pursued Gignac. Udinese offered me a transfer fee of 32.5 million. I counteroffered 30. They came back at me with 29 :doh: - Deal! :D
Hrm, IIRC my most expensive signing is Robinho, bought him for close to €40 million.
Most expensive signing by another club: Benzema from Real Madrid to Liverpool for €80 million ;)

cpu buying players in non sens tough...I have team like sevilla trying to buy my players for 60millions plus...thats unrealistic, and now stars are everywhere from the bottom team to the top...star players are mixed up everywhere...and that only after 2 ml season...I see things like van persie to sevilla, David villa, berbatov and robinho to Ac milan while they still have ronnie, pato and hunterlaar...
Best offered received for me was 37 million for Eduardo.
However I finally got Messi for a whopping 98 million but am very happy and had money to spare.

I wasn’t really interested in him come this time around, but saw a business opportunity should Milan sell and they did; I am going to keep him for about two to three seasons then I am going to sell him. Perhaps I can become the super rich club of the English Premier League…lol. I have learned to speculate with top players, buy them then offload them for big bugs. 1) NO lies that's just not my style. I've got photographic proof for that.
2) NO Edits were made before starting my ML game. Started the game with default players
3) I used SM patch 3.9 and also all the latest updates by KONAMI so all the transfers up to January of 10 were there.
4) I did not use auto save just so i could get a sweet deal for the players i want.
5) I do not remember the transfer prices of some players coz PES doesn't have the option to check the amount for which the player was bought.

I have just started my 8th seaason (iirc) and he's currently at an overall rating of about 94 (I think). Can't remember how old he is, but I would believe is about 25 or 26 years old right now.
i signed rooney in my third season in 67.213.230 million euro,,, it was 91 overall rating now i'm in my eight season he is 98 overall rating,,
but in season 7 real madrid signed pato from milan with 71.324.400 million euro,, he was 99 overall rating

most i've paid is 87 mil for aguero in arsenal, as well as a 15m loan for a whole year for C. Ronaldo. Biggest offer i received was 80m for fabregas, but i OBVIOUSLY refused, wouldn't sell him for billions. Biggest transfer i've seen was 102m for pato to chelsea in 2nd season of ML.

I couldnt be bothered to read through the whole board, but the first page amounts were pretty low! I got offered 89m for Kompany (took it!) at his peak and got a bid for 96m for Gourcuff at his peak.
my biggest signing has probly been about £8 million. although the biggest selling for me was valencia. sold him for £27 million. although ac milan offered me £42 million for fletcher. i declined it cos i use him and well with the last day of the transfer window i wasnt suceeding at getting big name players
Sold Fletcher after 1st season for 1M. Then bought Pato at 65M, I'm really mad hehe. But Pato has served so well until now (2013)
By the way, why can't we offer prices ourselves, not by Scouts? If we can, as in Pes6, I can "prison" any players I want, just by doubling the price!

Think it will be game over for me this season! Just passed Jan transfer window, £30 mill in the bank and have to pay out £220 mill at the start of next. None of my players are selling. By releasing my overpaid stars I can get my expenditure to £168 mill, butI'm still a long way off.
-At the moment I'm top of the league, 2pts ahead of Spurs

i had pep guardiola come through my team rated 65 5 or 6 seasons later i sold him for 86million to inter millan i never even played him which is the funny thing i also had an offer of 82 mil for nedved but i didnt want to sell him hes ace
i am to unlucky .im playing as a milan and in my second season jan transfer window inter boght kaka for 57m and messi for 68 or something and i got about 80 in the bank so im nearly game over.

I paid £40 mill for him when he was re-born!! His stats are going down now though at the grand old age of 24??
