Online is a Joke - I've had enough.

I have effing had it with this game!:realmad:

Its an absolute disgrace online. Last years wasn't great but this game takes the piss. The occasional bad game from PESO9 with players teleporting is one thing, but the awful CRONIC BUTTON LAG is much worse and out of 30-40 games i have had it in every one of those games (sometimes 5 seconds!! WTF)

Out of 12 ranking games I have yet to leave my half let alone score, which is a joke. I actually let fewer goals in when i stop controlling the players! WTF

Konami are a joke and have yet as far as i am aware, admitted that there is a problem with the game online. What makes it worse is that the problem seems to be sporadic only affecting some players, while others seem to think we are making it up.

Trust me when i say it is the most frustating experience you can get playing a game, with the other person skipping around the pitch pinging balls around while your players run around like headless chickens.

Konami you have lost a loyal fan of the PES series due to the lack of apparant interest in these problems and I will not be purchasing the next installment.

In about 80 games its only ever happened to me once - until then I didn't believe it...

I'm on PS3 by the way.

I know someone who had this problem and switched to a wired connection and installed the game on the hard driver and it improved things - try that...

I usually play quick match and state English Language and don;t seem to have a problem - just the once...

Usual stuff as well - NEVER have your pc on, especially MSN - surprising how many guys think its ok to have MSN on while they play online!!!

Was thinking exactly the same as you until yesterday I changed to a wired connection and put the PS3 on DMZ,and now it seems to be lag free! (and btw,I always have in the house 3-4 working computers with messenger running on them all,doesn't seem to disturb the online play ;))

when you play online it feels different to the normal game againt the AI. Is this normal?? its not as quick and responsive.

You're absolutely right.. My connection color is yellow. When i try to play with a red colored user, i have 2-3 seconds button delay while playing game.

After those redicilous experiences i had, now i play with only yellow color connections.

By the way "headless chickens" explains the situation perfectly. :)

hmm, what internet connection are you guys on? 56k? dsl? i play fine even when the opponent is red

10mb, good connection - not a connection issue - its a game issue as other games work fine.

By the way PES09 worked fine up to the day i switched over, so i think that tells its own story.
