This is the latest version of my file.

V1.4

Winter transfer to / from EPL teams completed and new players created.
Squad numbers checked and updated.
Some more kit updates / corrections.
No duplicate players.

V1.2

All duplicate players removed from National teams.
Some updated and improved logo's / emblems.
Boots updated / some assigned.
Corrected appearances for Gabriel Obertan and Luke Young.
Remaining classic teams now unlocked with retro kits.
Some squad numbers corrected, Badstuber now at Bayern Munich.
Shop fully unlocked.

All EPL and La Liga team kits edited.
All National teams have edited kits and logo's on shirts / shorts.
I edited Europe A/B myself, and used Kratos_82's as a base for the others.
Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen now have correct kits (and players) in other teams C.
Logo's now in colour thanks to the editor. Many new logo's Photoshopped.
Updated player data / cup and league names etc from Kratos_82's excellent file.

I am only doing .max format for now, but google "PS2 Save Builder" to convert to other formats and there are plenty of tutorials on how to make a bin/cue file from a .npo file (which you create in PS2 Save Builder).

Hopefully djdixie29 will convert to PSP and share...

I have corrected the team names in the EPL in this file. You can't import logo's (only Emblems and other data) from PES 2009, so they have been done with the in-game editor. I have done some more work on the file this afternoon, added errea's logo for burnley, and redone the vandanel logo for wigan. Fixed a few kit issues too. Going to change Chelsea's away kit to the white 3rd, and change the GK kit to the navy one, as this looks far better in-game, ready for the next updated release in about a week.

You're right, it's a fuckin joke man. Can't play with/against german teams in CL/BAL mode, can't add Bundesliga etc... If I had known this before, I had never bought the game. Without an editor pes on ps2 is absolutely useless.

When I have finished spanish club kits (tonight or tomorrow), and someone has updated transfers, I will start on NT kits. As I can't get colour logo's into the game at the moment I will leave them off, and just add kit sponsors.

The next version will have some transfers updated as well as all club kits sorted. Other versions after that will contain increasing numbers of updated NT kits.

If an editor becomes available I will be updating all the kit logo's to be the same as the 2009 ones.

OK, guys I've got a question...Does anyone know if you can get an option file for PES 2010 (PS2 version) but playing it on the PS3? Is there a way of getting the .max file on to the internal PS2 memory card on the PS3. I'm considering trying out the PS2 version on my backwards compatible 60gb PS3 but obviously having an option file is a major bonus!

But unfortunately you can't have like 5 branded boots. You can only have 1, But you can change their color though. So boot 1 red color boot 2 blue color etc etc......... no you don't need a eur or german version. it only requires the file to be replace a existing file in 0_text.afs

use google translator if you don't understand.

download the psp file from the link that hidayat225 post.extract it to your desktop and rename to unknown_05803.bin

follow these step:working only for .ISO
1.open pes2010 with either one of these (umdgen or winrar)
2.click on PSP_GAME/USRDIR.you will see the 0_text.afs.extract it to your desktop.
3.open DKZ Studio 0.90.select to open the extrected 0_text.afs file.
4.on the right of the program 'under the close tab' you will find a tab button with no1.click it and change to no6.scroll down until you find unknown_05803.bin.right click on it and choose 'import'.select the file that you rename earlier.then save as 0_text.afs in another place or folder.
5.open umdgen.open pes2010.click on PSP_GAME/USRDIR.find the the edited 0_text.afs file and drag it to replace the original 0_text afs file in the iso.then safe(i suggest to another name,for backup purpose) ;)
6.then transfer the game to your psp.have fun.:D

I will see which Wolfsburg players are in / need creating. If they are mostly there I might do it for the next version or the one after. My last PES 2009 file featured Wolfsburg as they are in Man United's group in the CL.

When I set up Wolfsburg in my OF, they needed Lens and Reither to be created to bulk up the team a little. Afaik, Werder Bremen have more players in-game than Wolfsburg but I went for the latter.

Just tried your OF and have to say, it's amazingly good (compared to my own efforts :P). Thanks for your all the effort you threw into this OF and the equally impressive PES 09 OF. I prefer WB over Wolfsburg now that I've played with them, seem a lot more complete and a proper team without having to create more players.

Are there any empty slots for extra teams? I want to edit in Coca-Cola Championship so I can play ML without having foreign teams in Div2.

I have downloaded the editor and attempted to add them in but as far as I can tell the only spare teams are WE and PES United - which you have changed to Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen.

If I rename some of the teams in Leagues A/B/C to championship ones will their kits still be locked? Was thinking of overwriting the three south american teams plus some of the less well known Eastern European teams but there is little point if their kits remain as the originals.

Or am I limited to altering those unlicensed Spanish teams for the CCC?

It is possible to rename the teams and overwrite the kits. Open the OF with the PC editor, then go to file > open OF2 and open it again.

Now double-click on the team name you want to change the kit / name of, a box opens which says "import kit". Click on any team name (eg Arsenal) and import their kit. This might copy over the team name as well, so just change it back. The kits can now be edited.

You have to edit the kits in-game however.

To make a licensed kit editable from the in-game editor, you need to open your OF with PES 2010 Editor and double click on the team whose kit you want to make editable. Then, select a kit from the list that will appear and then go to the in-game editor and change the kit to be as you like it. I hope you understood my explanation. Nice one both Chrispele and Basilis, just tried it and it makes sense. I had figured that the kits were then edited in the game. Gonna make a start tonight, just gotta wait for my Max Drive to come in the post (im still fairly new to all this) then get cracking with the in game editing. Il post up my results when im done, could be a little while though.

Ok after a quick run through of which teams will be created, the teams I will create for the championship will be:

Newcastle (most of their players should be already in the game)
West Brom (Easy, no sponsor this season!)
Boro
Leicester (Again, no sponsor, plus I lived there for 4 years)
Forest (cos everyone will want to smash them 10-0 lol)
Reading (My team)
Swansea
Cardiff (Again, no sponsor this season!)

To make up the other 2 teams into Div 2 I will simply play with Rangers and Celtic, which mirrors the (albeit rejected) proposals for them to play in a new "Premiership 2". This is mainly because I cant decide which teams I want to take out!

Removed will be:
Boca Juniors
River Plate
Internacianal
Bayern Munich
Werder Bremen
Sivasspor
Kalmar
AIK

On the basis that playing a Master League these teams wouldnt be missed anyway. If anyone has a better idea of teams that would be better removed (and not missed) feel free to hit me with them

With the players of those clubs, is there a way to move those I wanna keep in the game into a "Non-assigned" file? Cant find it anywhere on the editor - might be having a blind moment.

Also is it possible to create sleeve logos?

Sleeve logo's are a no, but I will try and photoshop / add the emblems for you. There are about 90 "duplicate" players (which all end in [name]_x2) which you can edit over. These are all in "non-affiliated". Hope this helps!

If you want to use some of the players from this file. I changed the duplicates into missing players, young hopefuls and Leeds players (to my eternal shame!). It's only in PSP format though. I got the stats from pesstatsdatabase. It was originally malfs OF, I just did the duplicates work.

There won't be any problem with Master League, as I have only copied over non-affiliated players, just got to get an updated PSP file out!

Ive been downloading opition files for years on ps2 & ps3 even xbox 360.

Im now playing ps2 version i have a maxdrive ive uncrushed the file to memory card go to the game 'load option file' and nothing happens.

I seem to be loosing the plot i think as i cant get it to work.

Hi, can anyone confirm they can get passed the 1st cup game in Master League whilst using this option file for the PS2. On my console it fails when loading the intro screen for the cup. I just get a blank screen and can go no further. When I re-load my master league game I get the same problem.

BTW I am playing this on the old PS3 console with the PS2 emulator

Just want to eliminate any issues with the file before I try something else. Any help appreciated. Thanks

I tried this and downloaded it all successfully, even put it onto my PSP and it appears in the saved data utility area on my PSP when I go to load PES.
But when I go to start the game it says it can't find a option file and I have to create a new one!!!
What is going wrong, is this not executable on a US version of the game?

Please help - I've deleted my personally edited option file (that took me about 5 hours to make) to try and load this one......

How to use them in my PSP?

You need to download the file from the link(s) supplied here then use winrar to extract the file - you'll be left with a folder ULES. You connect your psp up to your pc and go to usb connection on the psp. Wait for it to connect then on your pc you should see in my computer your removable psp disk - double click and you should see a series of folders you need to go into the savedata folder and copy over the ULES folder you downloaded - if you have a previous pes2010 save file it will overwrite so either back up or delete before copying the downloaded file. Then once copied fire up the psp and voila new kits etc!! :)

Well, I mean hot to use that .max or bin/cue in my PSP.
And as I know, they're only for PS2. BUT I have once browsered a page that indicated players to use a PSP to receive Option Files from a PS2, so the OP would be converted automatically.
I don't know whether will it work and hope someone can bring us an updated PSP option files as well.

I have the english version of the game as I am in the UK (not sure if it is multi-4 or 5 though.

I am just starting work on a season 10/11 version. Done EPL promoted team kits / emblems already, updated England kits / current World Cup squad (including Dawson in for Ferdinand). Players for promoted clubs will take quite some work over the summer but I will go through the top 12 or so International teams and update them with current squads. Beta release hopefully before the World Cup kicks off...
