What's your favourite map?

I've played the game for like 14 hours and i can say without doubt, that the Terminal is my favourite map. Its like the De_Dust 2 of CS i rank it that highly. I love when im about to go on it and sigh when i come off it

I like how no1 can camoflash into the surroundings, i like the many knife kills i get from people hiding in the cockpit and of course, love the battles in the long halway that you have a perfect view of from the cockpit

So far the only map i kinda hate is Estate. I just can't get in amongst it, dunno what it is

Highrise, Skidrow, Karachi, Terminal are all good. I don't particularly like Wasteland, Rust, Scrapyard or Quarry and Scrapyard is awful.

I don't overly like Afghan, but always tend to get my killstreaks on that level (as the chopper gunner can see pretty much everyone, and get me 10+ kills).

Wasteland I don't overly like, but is a fun sniping level.

Highrise, Skidrow and Terminal are probably my favourites. However, I too hate Scrapyard.

I'm not sure if I've even distinguished the difference between Karachi, Rundown and Invasion. Does Karachi have the chickens?

Yep, that's the one.

I took a chicken out from a distance yesterday as I saw a bit of movement and was a bit dumbfounded that I didn't get a kill for it.

Obviously, I went to inspect the scene of the crime and realised it was just a chicken. :blush:

Afghan is superb. Derail however is terrible.

I tend to do really well on Afghan, and it looks a great map too, beautiful colours and well set out with several choke points and sniping areas.

Terminal and Favela are both excellent looking maps, I love both but I'm generally pathetic on Favela so I've notched it down a touch and put Terminal at the top. I think most people will agree Terminal is one of this year's really high points of the game, a truly classic map.

Derail on the other hand is annoying as hell in my opinion, I always do poorly on it, and a lot of the time the only real combat happens in that central area.

I really do love Highrise on Team Death Matches. I think it really does make you feel like a team, with each team at one end and both trying to be the first ones to make the invasion.

Really loving Favela, Terminal & Skidrow atm but im kinda hating wasteland, underpass, estate too many snipers for my liking. not too sure about sub base & rust and aload of akimbo shotgunners come out to play with there 1 shot kills.

bloody highrise, talk about a map with layers ! so many bits i didn'y know you could get too. like on the crane and the top of the roof, plus the balcony inside one of the building

Well i love Afghan, Scrapyard, Terminal and Vacant. Despite getting nukes on Derail, Quarry and Wasteland i despise them, they ahve huge open areas but all the action is in one part with aerial protection and the colours just make me ill.
