The idea is simple.

Pick 10 songs that you want to feature on The Soundtrack To Your Life . They can be songs of great memories, sad times, special events or simply songs that have just stuck with you.

You can leave a message beside the song to state the reasoning behind the choosing.

I'll go first:

1) Chris Rea - Tell Me There's A Heaven .....(First memory of a song)
2) Crash Test Dummies - Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm .....(Reminds me of childhood holidays)
3) Aztec Camera - Somewhere In My Heart .....(Going to the swimming pool with brother and dad)
4) Elvis Presley - Suspicious Minds .....(Same as above)
5) Bruce Springsteen - Waitin' on a Sunny Day .....(Wonderful holiday in Mallorca)
6) Two Gallants - Steady Rollin' .....(It just got me first I heard it)
7) The Foundations - Build Me Up Buttercup .....(Reminds me of younger brother)
8) Luciano Pavarotti - O Holy Night .....(Christmas memories)
9) Ray LaMontagne - Trouble .....(Perhaps my favourite ever song)
10) Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here .....(Will always remind me of my cousin and best friend who died this summer)

Yikes, that's tough (and very sorry to hear about your cousin and friend...).

1. Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue (1st song on 1st CD I bought)
2. Vai - Sur Ma Vie (French song, lived in France for a few years)
3. Five - Get On Up World Cup 2002 Song (gives me goosebumps)
4. Modest Mouse - Float On (one of my all time favourites)
5. The Courteeners - Not Nineteen Forever (told to grow up a few times..)
6. R.E.M. - What's The Frequency, Kenneth? (my dad introduced me to this kind of music)
7. Feeder - Buck Rogers (always loved this song)
8. Chic - Everybody Dance (reminds me of being embarrased at wedding parties/discos etc... I hated dancing. But this song is awesome)
9. Chicane ft. Tom Jones - Stoned In Love (listened to it moving back to England.. kinda makes me sad and happy at the same time...)
10. DJ Zinc ft. Ms Dynamite - Wile Out (currently my favourite song!)

I might post here as it seems a good thread indeed, but I'm a bit worried I'll simply start listing my favourite songs of different varieties rather than songs linked to sentimental situations.
