I am quitting quick ranking matches from now on and will only play folks who I know from a forum or so, people who will have some decent f*cking brains. Last night, I played some quick ranking matches and guess what ?
REAL MADRID
BARCELONA
MAN UTD
BRAZIL
ARGENTINA
99.9% is what I get. Which brings me to this question ? WHO DA FCK ARE THESE IDIOTS ????? :realmad::realmad: I seriously think its some kid who only knows Messi, Ronaldo, Tevez etc. and doesn't know that a club such as FC Porto, or Benfica exist. ???
I played this moron, and I picked Benfica, and he picks Argentina ??? HELLO ASSWIPE I'm interested to play clubs match.... non the less, I beat him 3-1, second half, 49th min, he quits.....WELL F-U ASSHOLE...
And, since I'm in the USA, it looks like servers are region locked, so I can only play folks who are in the US area and these idiots always pick powerhouse teams...
I also think Konami need to stop dreaming and don't treat messi and ronaldo like they have nitros oxide inside them. I have 4 defenders chasing down good ol messi and they probably suffer cardiac arrest while trying to get to him, which is nearly impossible.

If enough people sign up from the us then yes.
You could try to sign up anyway everybody has to play 2 different members who judge their Etiquette ingame and at half time etc
(this has nothing to with how good you are)
these games are to also test your connection so if you can't connect well with other league members then this will show up in these games.
Alternatively if you can get more members to sign up from the US then they will create a seperate league for you guys to enjoy fair minded games aganist eachother.

no, is not that I only want to play against US players, to the contrary, I'd like to play against European players who are supposedly the best. So far the online people i've encountered online are from Brazil and Colombia (F-ing laggers), Mexico, USA, Argentina, Peru, Egypt, China and Israel.
Still no Europeans, I was thinking it was because we have different versions, or something. But I'd be delighted to play against y'all.

I went to the website, and was reading their rules and I saw that NO CUTBACKS allowed. WTF!! I understand they don't want powerhouse teams in their league, but to actually tell you how to play?

yes we consider cutbacks a very cheap way of scoring and if they were allowed then everybody would do them constantly like in the lobbies and the gameplay would suffer it's only 1 rule which enhances the games we play.
If it's not for you then it's not for you i guess.

Ive only played one 1v1 match online so far, and guess who they picked?...yep Real Madrid (yawn) LOL. I was bored before i even started the game haha. I picked Arsenal to give myself a fighting chance as i didn't wanna pick one of the same old super teams regardless, and we had a decent game to be fair and there were no bad lag moments. Drew 2-2 after extra time. Still, the team selection thing with most online players just makes it annoying and boring for me regardless of the outcome tbh. Add to that all the dirty quitters and torrent laggers i hear about and thats why i rarely play anything other than BAL mode online. That's rarely ever a waste of time like the 1v1's can be. If you get 4 good players it can be a real joy to play too. Same goes for last year's PES.

Well I pick a team even to what the other guy picks. If he picks Barca, then I'll pick Chelsea. If he picks Valencia, then I'll pick Milan and if he picks sunderland then I'll pick Portsmouth. I can keep Messi quiet, but only with another big team. Ronaldo is a different story. He seems to be able to outmuscle any defender, or midfielder. You slide tackle him and make contact and at times he still keeps the ball.

i personally think it should be outlawed if they want it to be
the reason is because the AI doesnt compensate for the pre programmed situations created by running wingers, overlapping players and dribblers that suddenly stop at the edge of the area..basically the saaame routine is done by the AI and even when you control the defender the AI doesnt sufficiently cover blind spots..
claiming real life has these opportunities is a bit of a non starter because how many times in a a game really do teams sciore cuts backs , more importantly how many times in real life do cut back opportunities with lazy sleeping ball watching defender occur in real life? not that many mate
end of the day its a game and cannot possibly mimic real life but what people can do its take away the glitches in the game that makes the game unrealistic and unplayable at times
like the freekicks, the cut backc, the early cross and the long range efforst when you sopt the keeper humping a goal post LOL

cutbacks should be absolutely banned from any community or tournament, competition etc. I see guys online using JUST CUTBACKS usually with Ronaldo, Messi and they win the game. Cutbacks are cheap way of scoring if used over and over again.
What is a cutback and how does it break the game?

Xavier, Iniesta, Messi, Henry and most recently Ibrahimovic make a habit of using this useful and effective move. If u guys want to outlaw the move, take it up with FIFA and Konami.

I have Setanta Sports, Fox Soccer Channel, GOLTv and I keep up with most of the games in Spanish League, Serie A and EPL and I really don't see a lot cutbacks that Barca or Madrid use. Sure, from time to time yes, but even in those situations they don't score all the time like some people do in PES. In PES 10 its easy way of scoring. Just make sure you have a super quick wing player and thats it. Its either a cutback or a header.

a cut back is when you dribble the ball down on the baseline from lets say the corner flag to the penalty box, then you see a midfileder or another attacker behind in the box and you pass it backwards and onetime it in for the goal.

I'm sure most people are not against cutbacks in real life, or whatever other attacking strategy is used. It's cutbacks IN THE GAME that everyone has a problem with. And I totally agree.
I've played about 65 games online so far, and boy, those Barcelona/Real Madrid/England players have become so damn predictable. They will always use Messi or C. Ronaldo to move up the flanks, and they will even run all the way back to their defensive line with them! You can use all sorts of defensive strategies against them but the computer will seem to give them at least one time where they are superhuman. They will run along the sides, make that 90 degree cut towards the goal, pass it to the guy who is never covered, and tap in the ball for the goal. Even the goalie won't do anything (You can't even play him, actually). It's terrible! It stops being any kind of game.
I guess every game has its own kind of "cheat", and it's online where you see people always exploit it for rankings.
Now, all I do is just look at my opponent's formation. If he's got 3 attackers, or using C. Ronaldo as a wide midfielder, then you'll know EXACTLY what kind of game he's going to play, and you can count on him scoring at least one goal regardless of what defense you throw at him.

Im always spurs i played 4 games and didnt win once. 1st game lost 1 0 2nd game was 0 0 and stopped about 60 mins said network problems then 3rd game i lost 4 0 and 2 1
i came up aganst chelsea juventers barcelona and man blue lol

Is awfull when the shitty BIG TEAMs Pes players do it all the time...but come on...quiting it from a PES tournament its like taking the ball out off the game...IMHO...

You are right pal, but i am saying it because they remove this "real football move" in medium teams matches.
I know, its right outlawing it from matches again Barzas/Madrids/Brazils/Argentinas...because they have superhuman players at the time...IMO.
But from Benficas/Udineses, for me its a true and rewardable goal...because obviously, you dont have the Ronaldos and Messis to run into the final line without any real opposition...you need to sort out and overcome the defense based in strategy and team play to reach the final line... and a really hard work to drible in the box.

I would once like to play against someone who knows that there are more than just 4 teams in this game. Otherwise, online play is getting progressively more pointless for me to play.
