BAL and new OF

Hi guys,
It's my first year playing BAL and I have a basic question.
Can I install a new OF even after I already started my BAL career, or do I have to start a new one?

A new OF can change kits, emblems & player appearances in an existing game, but it will not change rosters or player stats.

I think by updating the game through system settings->download some of the player stats in save games will change. Not sure about it though.
I did this and applied a kitserver patch and Gabriel obertan's rating changed from 73 to 83 in my BAL savegame, but I'm not sure if it was the update or the kitserver which did it.

I have changed Player appearance, abilities and names, jerseys and team names and have had no problem returning to BAL mode. :-D

Great, I'm gonna give it a try.
I'm not too worried about the updates, my biggest concern is that the new OF could screw up my BAL, forcing me to start all over again.

I would think that the BaL data couldn't be updated cus it's saved befor an update and you can't edit BaL so I would think hat it wouldn't 'screw it up' for ya, Lol...

The option file only effects the edit data, so your BAL will be fine.

i wanted to ask the same issue, but this topic answered my doubt.
thanks for the info.

on the other hand, sometimes i think that it could be better if the option file was affecting the bal, considering the totally stupid transfers occuring :)
