I 've seen yesterday that the europe champion of PES 2 is french!! i'm proud!

Wasn't it held in France, and most of the entering players were French?

They have more organised tournaments in France and play a lot, whereas in England there is only really what people organise for themselves, such as PESTAL and jimzico's Manchester one.

Hopefully soon there will be enough participants in England (and also other countries) for people to gain enough tournament experience to be able to compete.

BTW jimzico, what will be the name of your tournaments?

Not too sure yet! Depends what format it takes on. I'd prefer Master League matches but the majority want National team matches. Any ideas for a name anyone? I'll probly end up with a predictable boring one like MPEST. Could call it TEMPEST but not too sure what the TEM could stand for! :)

Well, the best I managed to come up with was PES Tournoire™. And it wouldn't be held in France, either.

Something like "Evolution" would sound good, although it makes it sound like a crack-dealing night-club. :D

Not bad...but sounds too much like the pisser in French. What about PESTLE, PESTEL or PESLET? Or PES/EU?

I don't think you should have the 2. If you leave it out (leave it out!) then there is more flexibility for future versions.
