i've been an avid follower of south park since season 1. watched almost all the episodes from season 1 to 8. btw season 9 is out, 3rd episode should be available today. you guys can download the torrents from www.awesomo.net

speaking of awesomo, that's one of the episodes i recomend. infact season 8 was really great, one of the better seasons. good times with weapons, awesom-o, you got f'd in the a, and a few more can't remember their names. go check season 8 out, worth every minute.

I have to say. I'm kind of suprised how good season 6 was. I thought it would be different without the original 4, but there where some good episodes in that series that I would rate highly. My favourite being My Future Self and Me. The scene were he cuts the actors hand off was brilliant. I watched that about 4.00 am and I was laughing so much that I was in tears. Somehow I didn't wake my brother up.

What's everyones favourite series? Mine would probably be series 8. Followed by series 3 then 9.

Nope. Channel 4 use to have it in the UK but then it got shifted to times like 3.00 am and now stopped showing them at all. Because of that, I forgot about South Park for awhile until the controversy with Isaac Hayes which brought it back into my memory. Since I was already achieving other TV series that I can't mention because I will probably get banned. I went ahead to get South Park and have every episode. I think they show South Park on Comedy Central if you have Sky probably.

Last nights episode was brilliant. It's halloween and Satan wants to throw the biggest party. While the priests want to crash the party, and apparently if you say "Biggie Smalls" 3 times in front of a mirror, Biggie appears. :laugh:

Simpsons is different. They have done 18 seasons so you can't blame them for coming a little short on stuff. South Park is on its 10 season and from the episodes I have seen, they are not short of ideas yet. Also, Trey and Matt admitted to having little ideas. They would come up with ideas to find out that The Simpsons did it (That's the whole reason for the episode on how Simpsons comes up with everything.)

EDIT: I don't know if anyone picked up a newspaper, but the new South Park episode was mentioned for the scene which involves Steve Irwin, who is now in hell (although rised to the earth to go to Satans halloween party, but kicked out for not having a costume.) Nice to see controversy at South Park again.

I loved the scene where Cartman was in principal Victoria's office and he constantly laughs at the midgit who then burts and shouts "Shut your fucking face!"... "Eh... He didn't get to me, I..I was just joking." Then right at the end he makes some wierd groaning noise. :D

I agree. Season 8 had some terrific episodes. Season 9/10 had some great ones too but also some very poor ones to bring it down. 3 of the 4 episodes so far have been brilliant.

South Park was at it's peak of brilliance from season 4 to season 8. It's best episodes exist in those 5 seasons imho. series 11 however looks like a massive return to form, with all episodes barring one being brilliant, with lice capades being ok.

The first three, series 9 and ten are all funy, and there are some quality episodes held within; the fact is, these series have a certain hit and miss quality about them; here is a list of my faves from each series to showpoint my point that there is more quality in the middle.

1- 3 episodes- Anal Probe, Death, Damien

2- 4 episodes- Mexican Staring Frog, Foetus Lady, City on The edge of forever, spookyfish

3- 5 episodes- Tweek vs craig, c

Towelie makes me laugh even though he himself knows how bad a character he is. I think all the characters work and sort of allow each other to bounce off one and other. I watched an episode the other day and i just remembered about it, its the episode where Mr Garrison gets pissed off with the airline companies and decides to make the it :laugh:
