No Way Out has changed its name to a much more clever and subtle name for the PPV called "Elimination Chamber".
I had a feeling the Orton vs Sheamus match was going to end in DQ, but I didn't know who was going to be disqualified.
And I should have just stuck by my guns and predicted Edge.

I'm probably lucky the Divas title match didn't go ahead. I honestly thought Gail would have won to start a short rivalry where Maryse would have got it in a few weeks, but when they had that backstage confrontation before the match, I knew Maryse would have won.

I spent so long saying how Miz was going to win the MITB prior the PPV. So why the hell did I go and choose a talentless hack like Morrison? :|

Everybody said yes to interference so it doesn't make a huge amount of difference except everybody not called Haribo would lose a bonus point, and a couple of people would lose another point for no screwjob (Matt, you're one of them).
I've just gone with the basis that Triple H interfered moreso than a regular referee would.

Man did I have a difficult time making my final guesses for the Royal Rumble PPV. I was running through so many possible scenarios in my head; would Sheamus eliminate the most since it'd be in keeping with his character, or would The Miz elimate more given his earlier entrance. Is there going to be any surprise returns that would negate several of our Royal Rumble match predictions?
I honestly spent quite a while thinking things through, and I'm still not sure how happy I am with my final predictions, but we'll just have to see. I'll be watching this probably tomorrow afternoon/night, so I'll be avoiding all spoilers - which won't be too difficult for me given I always watch Raw and Smackdown the day or so after they've aired, so I'd developed a knack of dodging potential spoilers and maintaining a kayfabe frame of mind a lot of the time (which makes it more enjoyable of course!)

I think I scored better this time round because I predicted what I thought was going to happen, rather than in the past where I've tend to go with what should have happened.
Anticipating shit booking is a big part of the skill in this I think.
I jettisoned common sense on some of my choices. I knew I'd regret my choice on the Diva's match. Also, I just couldn't see how they'd justify letting Rock beat Cena when Dwayne is contracted to three new feature films. I completely forgot about Lesnar, I thought his big return was going to be headlining Summer Slam. Damn! I'm just going to flip a coin next time for some of these.

Is there a summary of the results? I still have no idea what I got right and wrong.
I'll just quickly recap. Orton won by pinfall (you were right), Big Show lost in a tables match (half right), Sheamus won 2-1 (half right), CM Punk won by pin (you said DQ even though it's technically impossible in a street fight :lol:) & Cena won by pin (you said Brock). I believe it reset at the start of 2012. I think I proposed a reset following every Wrestlemania, so that the 'home stretch' would be the grandest stage of them all, making for a potentially even more exciting Wrestlemania - the decider of the 'league'.
I've no problem with it being at the start of every year though, it's just great that we're starting over each year again and giving newcomers a real chance.

I'm not surprised most of us scored lower for this PPV given how unpredictable it seemed some of the matches and finishes were.
I only finished watching Night of Champions last night mind, hence why I've not checked out this thread and the Prediction Table until now. Out of curiosity Haribo - during the counting up of prediction points, for the main event, did you consider the Finish to be a 'pinfall'?
I'm not sure whether you've calculated that way or not, just thought it was worth bringing up as it was somewhat of a talking point. It was technically a pinfall finish I think, but just upon one another. This would still constitute being a 'pinfall' Finish?

Yeah, if I remember right it was draw/pin/no interference for the main event. Obviously no-one said it'd be a draw; it'd be pretty stupid (or brave) to go out a limb like that.
A double pinfall draw is so rare we just never covered it when we introduced the game, but seeing as though every one of us predicted a pin for that match it doesn't hinder anybody however I score it.
I got 41 points. It would be 42 if there was interference in Sheamus/Del Rio, but I didn't count Otunga getting a Brogue Kick in the first few seconds as interfering. :lol:
