Hello lads.
It's about time for a thread, isn't it? Guus Hiddink will be announced as our new manager soon, good times ahead I suppose.

If he does become your manager, I think you have good enough players to do very well in the next European championships.

Yeah, I think the players have enough quality and dedication, but they lacked a good manager to lead them. The trustworthy news outlets (or "the select few") seemed sure of the deal, saying that the Turkish FA president met with him in Amsterdam and agreed on a 4 year deal. We'll see what happens, but he will be the best man for the job I think. He did really well with Russia, South Korea and Australia.
Told you Austria and Belgium were fucked :>

I've never quite understood Turkey. Are they are really good 'just outside the bigboys' side, or not? Always had good players, and when they got that World Cup semi, I thought they were here to stay...
Hiddink is like the the manager jackpot, that's a coup right there. Van Marwijk is a good people manager like he has to be but with Hiddink I'd feel so much more comfortable.

Hiddink is the only other person I can think of wanting to manage England, other than Capello. Superb appointment.
Is Colin Kazim still a starter for the national side?

He usually is, solely because there aren't any other proper right sided midfielders in Turkey. When he isn't a cunt, he's quite useful. But he's usually a cunt.

Doesn't it seems odd to have a guy that can't speak Turkish in the Turkey team? Can you imagine that in England??

Yeah, Wayne Rooney.

I think he can speak Turkish. I also called him a cunt, how wrong was I?
Yeah, Wayne Rooney.
Took you a year to think that one up? ;)

No, it's that cunt of life Emre.
Emre managing to complete a season without injury yet?

I think he is.
It would be best if he just died though.
I take it not many Turkish players have played for Both Gala and Fener? :D
I'll ignore Colin Kazim Richards as he is more English than Turkish.

I only slightly care that he plays for them, it's that he's this stupid annoying prick and I want to strangle him every time I see him in a match.
Emre Asik started his career with them and ended it with us and was a legend here, so I guess it depends on the character of the player.
He seemed destined for big things after his move to Internazionale but he's never quite hit the heights. I presume he has a questionable attitude?

I was just looking through this thread, saw it, and could not resist at all. I'm surprised someone hadn't posted a similar sort of comment.
