ive told you 3 times now, dont use this file:realmad:it took 200 hours in edit mode to make it and all you seem do be doing is trying to pass off other peoples hard work as your own,if you keep this up you will be banned from this site ,il report you myself

chimps went through the whole file and changed all stats player by player but mainly focused on teamwork aggression and tenacity

as for the update i dont know now if konami will be allowed with EA having the world cup game coming out

overwrite everything mate,you need the full 500 pngs to enjoy the file at its best

I am going to put a link to the file on the Konami feedback forum on this and the wenb site. I honestly think if they had spent as much time as we have looking at their game and improving the strips and game play, they wouldnt be in the mess they are with it

Which file is it happening with?

I would try the edit file first, this is the most important file and can be used by itself, from there each other file is the strips and faces.

Great option file chaps - have only played one game so far Hoffenheim vs Lorient. Gameplay is tight and the kits amazing!!!! But I was 2-0 down at halftime before realising that Obasi who is a striker was in goal instead of Hildebrand - not sure whether this is an error due to the file or just a random enigma - but thought I'd mention it as thought it was quite funny - especially when obasi went to catch a simple shot and it fell though his hands!! :) Really appreciate all the hard work it must have taken to make this file as good as it is and especially for being kind enough to share it with the world.

Currently I´m playing Stringer Bell´s version. It´s great too, but has weaknesses concerning player numbers (and the realism).

Do I have to copy ALL of your files to be able to use your OF? Or is Stringer Bell compatible to yours (excluding the edit file)?

Hi, first i want to thank all guys who work on it, but i have a problem plks help me,
I downloaded files to my pc, extracted them and copy into usb device,then i put usb on my PS3,but when i enter Saved Data Utility and then into usb device, PS3 start to view the face and uniform folders. Everything is normal up to there but i try to go top or try to copy a folder to machine,my PS3 freezes or all the folders dissapear.
Is there anybody who suffers the same problem or know the solution???

Thanks, I have some final game play tweaks to make and will release on update for the file then.

At that point I am going to try get konami's attention with this file.

From the feedback I have received over the years and the dwindling reputation of the pes series I honestly think making changes like those on this file would help get them back on track and claw back some of the ground they have lost to Fifa.

The game play is also improved for two players as the pace of the game is better and the players more smoother. Shooting has also been improved and much more teams are now enjoyable to use.

Wrong! He asked if the file will work, and yes, it DOES work even if you don't copy all of the faces and kits (I'm playing with half of Bayern with "no data" faces :lol:)

I don't know about that, I havent got a clue how to make strips and faces and without someone making them of the standard of these, few would have downloaded game play only file.

I have spent some time working on the bigger national teams and club teams. This should play a little slower, though the problem where people are finding the last version faster is a mystery as I was and then when I rebooted the next day it had slowed down.

A lot of teams have been improved and the short passing has been slowed on top teams. What people might find in some games is that although the game is at a better pace it may seem easier as the opposition may not attack as fast

Let me know what you think, this isnt the final file as I still have the new south american and german teams to finish.

I think its better and have had some amazing games between teams like portugal, holland and spain

thought i recognised the name from a couple of years ago.the days of patching ps2
and pes 6 we10 and all that funny thing is have started to play an updated we10 patch mainly for copa libertadores sides on ps2 and its still as good as ever.

i think pes2010 on ps3 with this option file is good but there is still something missing
from it. could have done with a piggyback guide book re the tactical sliders.
Nice option file chimps and gerd but what annoys me sometimes is that when the fullback has the ball near to halfway line you would expect your lmf to make a run up the touchline but alot of the time he comes inside and close to the fullback to recieve the pass when in real life in all probability he would make arun up the wing into space, this is arsenal and arshavin i am talking about as one example. it also happens a lot with man city and wright philips anyways to fix this or is it due to the tactical sliders set for teams?

I turned M'boma back to M'boma which you made to Yannick Mbengono at Debrecen. But now I don't have Yannick's stats. Can you point me in the direction to find that? I've been having trouble finding him even on PESStats.

just a little feedback:

this new version of yours plays very well but if i could suggest a couple of things it would be this:

make the great teams play better on offense. im an average player and i dont feel dominated playing against great teams with bad teams. when we play good teams on top player we should feel dominated especially when playing with average/bad teams.

one thing that i also noticed is that its too easy to score headers, especially when you cross before reaching the box. My striker always gets to the ball first and heads the ball to well for the goal. Maybe this could be changed just by improving the heading stats of the defenders or lowering the heading stats of the strikers.

Just my two cents and thanks for the great option file!

ps - have you tried messing with the assisted settings? to they take effect for the cpu? because there is an option there to make the teams more offensive-minded...

I've just noticed when copying the files over (Christ, that takes a while doesn't it!) that the 'Face Files' numbers 49 & 48 are the same & numbers 41 & 42 are the same, is this correct?

Also i said id sort out an option file for a friend too as he's still playing it with all the default stuff (shocking lol) so i need to get hold of a good one and stick it on a USB anyway.

I am the "guy earlier" and im happy im not the only one noticing this... im an average player at best and always score 1/2 goals from headers without really trying...

Another thing i noticed: it´s too easy to shoot from mid range. The ball always leaves the foot too acurately and powerful. I would like to see some shot´s WAY outside of the nets...

But again, this is not this option file fault! It´s the game itself. Hopefully Chimps can do something to improve this on the option file.

There is ways to make the opposition play better and be harder to beat without making them easier to use.

Aggression, Tenacity and Teamwork can be used to make a team be much harder to play against. This is why all teams will have most players at 80+ for these.

If you then make the game smoother by increasing the agility and response and dribbling accuracy, you then have to offset this with making the opposition better.

The trouble is, the first option file was almost there, but in reducing the stats to slow down the very best teams, they have become to easy to play against with smaller teams.

I spent some time yesterday editing the dutch league and it seemed better, but then realised that I could now take a small dutch team and beat inter milan on top player, which isn't right

Yes, thats the problem right there: beat good teams with bad teams on top player!

Maybe the best teams need to play in a not so realistic manner to be hard to play against them.

I remember that in previous PES versions, on top player, the best teams when controlled by the cpu, didn´t play a realistic game (passing too quicky, never missing an oportunity in front of the keeper, scoring a lot of goals on corner kicks). Maybe that´s the way it needs to be for them to be real hard to play against...

Sort of done this already, I played the same game Barcelona v Villareal on 2008, 2009 and 2010(2010 had chimps file though) all on top player.

RESULTS PLAYING AS BARCELONA
2008: Barcelona 3-0 Villareal This was maybe a bit too easy to dribble round people but the A.I were dangerous on the break.

2009: Barcelona 1-3 Villareal I had many chances to win the game but the A.I were clinical in front of goal although their second goal was a penalty which one of my team mates decided to give away, this reminded me why I hated 2009 so much. Definately the hardest A.I of the three versions.

2010: Barcelona 2-0 Villareal Well, we all know about the A.I in 2010 dont we, although it does seem a bit harder to grind out a result with chimps first gameplay file.

So 2009 definately had the most difficult opposition A.I. Maybe its worth looking at 2009 for some answers.

There is ways to make the opposition play better and be harder to beat without making them easier to use.

Aggression, Tenacity and Teamwork can be used to make a team be much harder to play against. This is why all teams will have most players at 80+ for these.

If you then make the game smoother by increasing the agility and response and dribbling accuracy, you then have to offset this with making the opposition better.

The trouble is, the first option file was almost there, but in reducing the stats to slow down the very best teams, they have become to easy to play against with smaller teams.

I spent some time yesterday editing the dutch league and it seemed better, but then realised that I could now take a small dutch team and beat inter milan on top player, which isn't right

i think the 1st gameplay file is harder man, and the speed has been fine after a couple of sessions ,id stick with editing that one for games vs the cpu

I am thinking about going back to the first file editing from there. I am after making the game as hard, yet enjoyable as possible and most seem to prefer the first file

Just went back to the original file and it feels slower than the one I had been working. I think that by trying to make the game smoother, the game speeded up and give people more space to cross and shoot, so it became easier.

Can you put the file up on rapidshare instead of through msn as I have trouble getting files from it

dont think we can do that,both gameplay and edit files are intertwined,you could load up a default file and manually set up all the teams yourself but that might take about 10-12 hours to do

orpheus, its easy. everything you need is on the first post.

first, you need to update your pes game. connect your ps3 to the internet, boot up pes go to system settings>download. after it installs, you have your pes game with the latest konami patch.

only then you can install the patch from this thread. it´s on the first page, download it to you computer and save it to a clean, formated pen drive.

put the pen drive in your ps3, go to the place where you see your in-game saves, and the first one should have your pen drive (it says data utility or something like that).

then go through ALL 500 files of this patch that are inside of the pen and copy them to your ps3! It should take you around 1 hour.

remove the pen, go play the game, and voilá! all the uniforms, players and teams correct!!!

Moving on to this file from Rosh's. If someone who has done the same could tell me how they compare, that'd help! No offense to creator, just wanting to make right choice.. Was happy with Rosh's to be fair but lack of updates has made me want to find a new one, and this looks like the best option on paper. Also there are a lot of faces, and i already have like 150 that I have done and would have re-assigned... However if other users are happy i'll take their word and replace! Are the one's included high standard? Sorry to ask questions, got to take it for a test drive before you jump in and buy it, you know ;)

You are absolutely right, it seems to do just that. But, the more i play and change things the more i believe that every effort to reduce the game speed makes the CPU less challenging.

Maybe the only way to make the game challenging is to let the CPU play faster. Obviously, i would like the game to be slower, but if it is the only way to have a decente challenge, i can deal with it.

I would also like to point out that it seems to me (although im not sure) that the game seems faster at 4 is because when the cpu is on defence and recovers the ball, it tries to go up the field as quick as possible (it makes sense, we ARE telling them to atack more by putting the setting at 4). Once there, i don´t think they play faster than usual...

I also play the EPL in my Master League (with Man.United).

What i did was this: i set the difficulty to Top Class and put the top and mid-table teams at 4. The worst teams, i putted it at 3 (it´s the "balanced" setting).

With that, i ALWAYS have difficult games against MOST teams, and sometimes against bad teams i have an easy game (like it should be, since im playing with Man.U).

I also don´t do any of the buying/selling thing... i only care about the inside the pitch stuff and tactics!

the englend kit is licenced so until konami update it we can do nothing with it

Thanks mate - do you remember there used to be an option when creating a player to use the 'base' of another player and then just tweak. Used to be quick way to roughly create a player - I was going to use Downing as a base as I think they are similar players but unfortunately don't think the base creation is in the game :(

i change in edit all team to 4 in balance but when i play against them it's

yeah this sucks I'm not updating my OF. I just put out my own update for it 3 days ago. If I do update it I'm gonna have to fix 24 teams! Numbers formations knowing these updates 10 vital BuLi players will simply vanish. This is not worth it I'm pissed.
