This is getting annoying

I am playing as a SS and started at Mallorca , we kept loosing most of the matches because all what our team does is keep passing the ball in our half (80% of the time) until they press and intercept the ball then score , the second problem is that whenever i play i barely touch the ball unless i run down to our own half and call for it and by then i have to beat their whole team on my own to score otherwise my team-mates will ruin the attack , now i am in Valencia and i start all matches but i rarely get a 1v1 with the keeper or any oppurtiunity to score , all my goals are either long shots or beat 'em up and score , i am playing on Top Player Difficulty and this game doesn't have any button to ask ur team mates to press like (Shooting button in normal gameplay) , so any suggestions would be nice .

^a suggestion, don't play as a CF for Valencia, unless you're David Villa!

these problems may be similar with other clubs as well, but they're specifically noticeable here, because of the team's unusual positioning, which forces the CF infront, while the MFs are stationed way back..

..i've noticed the same thing when playing for Valencia..in fact, it often happened that i've brought the ball into the final third of the pitch, looking to pass to a teammate, and they just stopped, or even start running back at times!

..other than that, it's usually always a struggle at first, when your stats are shit.. but it graduately gets better

..also, i often ''force'' our SMFs into attacking, by hitting them with a well timed ''thru pass'' to the side..just wait in the middle of the pitch, or slowly start running towards the side you want to pass, and usually their SMF/WB will start covering you, making room behind him for your SMF to recieve a thru ball..hope this helps

I played for valencia as a CF and replaced villa and kind of struggled to do well on my own and at that time my overall rating was in the 68 probaly up to 70 something i was there for 2 years eventually went to althletico madrid where it was much better 3 years there and playing with a striker is so much better as it was ageuro.

But if your still a shit player it will be hard although sometimes you do feel like your running about all the time becuase the AI suck.

^yeah, go with athletico if you can, they're always doing well (just don't go with villareal, i always regretted that move:P)

yeah althletico are good but i never won a thing with them now at barca and learning to play as a right SS as its 3 strikers.

Atletico is awesome. Agüero and Maxi Rodriguez are very highclass. Forlan and Simao are the weakest players not regarding the defence with Pernia and Ibanez.
I won La Liga and Europe League in second Season. 46 Scorerpoints in all competitions which brought me the scorerking, assistking and MVP of Europe League.
Villa scored 38 times in League which is nearly impossible to do on top-player.
My overall is 72 by now, 20 years old.

Same here , but i scored around 18 goals (including internationals) this season .

Just signed for Barca on my 5th season :D .

i got 17 goals last season and have also singed for barca its going ok but still losing games and its also annyoing i might leave in the january window if a decent side comes in ive kind of had enough of spain.
