How to place a shot?

Wassup people,

I was wondering how to place a shot or curve it into the net? It never really was clear to me. If someone could also tell me how to shoot low and hard, high and hard, high and soft, low and soft? Would be appreciated! :happy: And also if there is any other shot techniques. I'm bored of the classic hold "circle" button.

To place a shot, power it up (the more you power, the higher it'll go), and then after you power it and before the player shoots press R2 and with the stick control the curve. Note that you won't have total control of the curve. That depends on the individual.
Placing is really good when you learn it and the accuracy will be much better with placing but the shot won't be as powerful. So use it wisely.

Do you use the right analogue stick?

^That's only for manual passing. You control the direction with the left analogue stick.

I also sometimes hold dash button when shooting, I think that way player shoots harder.

I also think so. But you have to be able to hit the ball while sprinting (dashing) to hit it with phenomenal venom.:)

I try to target either the left side or tight side of goal as a direction... but it always seems to hit the middle of the goal...

I also sometimes use the R2 for placement where the player will use the side of the foot rather than just blasting it but it doesnt always work, propbaly haft to time it right.
