Special World Cup Edition Option File, with all 32 teams and latest MLS transfers(not for the UK/European version, sorry)

What is included:

- All 32 WC teams have been tweaked Roster wise so all 23 players are there, all faces have been done as correct as possible to the 64 missing players.

- All accurate Starting line ups, with kick takers, PK takers, Captians, etc. All done, to give the most realistic World Cup for North American Users!

- Algeria is "Guinea", while New Zealand is "Bahrain".

- ALL WC Teams have Accurate Boots as possible. All elite wearing players, have normal version of the boots. Mizuno boots are the yellow boots in the game, etc.

- ALL WC players have been tweaked as far as tucked/untucked jerseys go.

- Many WC players faces have been tweaked to look more real.

- ALL Non Licensed WC teams have Jerseys Minus North Korea and Slovakias GK.

For the rest of the teams

Europe - Some Nations have their jerseys. Others have accurate templates but no PNGs. All WC teams have their jerseys in Europe that are participating.

North & South America – All teams have their accurate jerseys.

Africa - Only the WC participating teams have accurate PNGs, the rest have accurate templates, but not PNGs.

Asia- Most teams have accurate templates, North Korea has as most accurate template as possible, but there are No PNGs for it out yet given its change in sponsor.

Stats: Stats for this OF come from the research Conoll3 did on his spare time, finding all missing player stats, or making some himself based on his opinion for the missing WC players.


With that said, I want to say thank you to connoll3 As he did 75% of the work, with me just sharpening somethings up! We want to give you MLS fans the best OF for the PES 2010, and enjoy your favorite team playing on the PS3.

What it includes:

* Rosters updated for the start of the 2010/2011 season. Large majority of in-game transfers done. Many players have been created to fill out squads, as well.

* Kit numbers adjusted for all clubs in the EPL, Ligue 1, Serie A, La Liga, & the Eredivisie. Kit numbers adjusted for many teams in 'Other Leagues A', but not all (in general, the smaller clubs got less attention for the purposes of this update, especially the Scandinavian ones).

* Created all three EPL promoted sides -- Newcastle, West Brom, & Blackpool. Created two of the promoted La Liga sides -- Levante & Real Sociedad (Hercules excluded because of editing limitations).

* Updated all editable EPL kits for 2010/2011 season.

* MLS rosters updated following the September 15 roster freeze. Returned all loaned-out MLS players, as well.

With PES 2011 so close and people already immersed in the demo, this is probably the last update for this option file.

I guess I can chime in here. :)

The file had the vast majority of missing transfers completed to correspond with 1.05 (Gudjohnsen, Wilshere, et al.). We didn't get around to creating all the missing players with that update, but hadn't ruled out the idea of doing that eventually in subsequent versions. The file, after all, has an MLS focus, so that's where the bulk of editing energy went.

As for emblems, we filled up the slots. All EPL. Due to space limitations, we took out two of the Spanish emblems to make room for 16 MLS emblems. IMO, kits are top of the line - again, considering the editing constraints (200 limit, etc.), which is most evident with the more obscure NTs.

Having said that, Konami's new DLC complicates matters a bit. We're working on the issue.

The 1.05/1.06 references are to the versions of downloadable content (DLC) released by Konami periodically over the last few months.

On PES 2010, you can access and download updates via the 'System Settings' menu => 'Download'.

I thought I had 1.5 already installed but when I started it up the game said this version not compatible. So I downloaded the latest update and this what happened. I sorted out & updated MLS rosters. Also tweaked lineups, formations, team settings, and some stats. Removed duplicate players from NTs & registered real players in their place.

If you loaded the first OF & kit PNGs for 1.05 on to your PS3, the only thing you need to copy from this version is the 'edit data' -- since the kits are the same as the first file/pack Bolivianfuego uploaded a few days ago.

We'll provide further updates in due time. In the meantime, enjoy. Feedback, of course, is welcome.

Features: updated MLS rosters; adjustments to MLS lineups, formations, and some stats; and some new & improved kit PNGs.

Note: copy the 'edit data' and all the kit PNGs to your PS3 from the downloaded file. Make sure you already have either the 1.0 or 1.1 OF loaded on to your PS3 (ie, a file with ~200 kit PNGs). If you load this file (1.2) without one of the previous versions, you'll be missing 170+ kits.

Fuzetti is not on the file. Did he ever actually sign with the Wizards? I haven't seen anything official to that effect. I got the impression his situation with KC was similar to JT Noone's at Philly -- namely, a roster hanger-on who trains periodically with the club, but has not been officially signed as yet.

I could be wrong, though -- and would be happy to get some clarifying details.

Thanks, but there's nothing in that story that confirms he's actually been signed by the Wizards. It just relays that Fuzetti got drafted by KC and has been in camp with the team.

He's not on the official roster and until I can find confirmation about his signing, I'm not inclined to add him to the file.

If you upload it under the same User on your PS3, yes. It will overwrite the existing edit data and relevant kit pngs.

Your other option is to create another User on your PS3 and upload the file there. This will enable you to have multiple OFs on your PS3 without having to delete one to use another.

Second - I wanted to know if there was a way to actually switch Guinea to Algeria and Bahrain to New Zealand in name and flag in the startup menus rather than just the lineups of the teams?

No there isnt. If there was, we'd have done already lol. You arent allowed to change name or flags in game. Thats as far as we could go.

But it should give you the closest WC feel given what Konami lets us work with.

Well, you'd have to replace each team one by one I believe... It should work though. You'd just have to do it in france or holland, and exchange all teams for MLS teams.

After going into your User name that you have now, your main one, you'll see in that 'aisle' an option for 'create New User'.

Create a new user name, Say MLS OF. Then go there, and after loading the 'PS3' folder of our OF, you load all the files one by one into the game 'Save Data Utility' section.

You go to where it says USB drive, and copy everything there into your PES 2010 section. Also if you have already played the game you will have to delete your custom 'edit data' because if you load the edit data from my OF, it will cause it to cancel out trophys. Do that before you load our MLS OF.

Yes, the way to get around this, is to delete your already existing "Edit Data", and loading ours.

Once you do that, trophies will still work.

Hey Connoll..since there are 2 teams left in League B, would you be able to make the Vancuver and Portland teams?? Maybe just fill them in with created players???

We've debated creating Vancouver & Portland, but at the moment we don't have any plans to add them to the file.

Yes, the way to get around this, is to delete your already existing "Edit Data", and loading ours.

Once you do that, trophies will still work.

I got around it by loading in your Edit Data before creating any of my own. :)

I played some games as World Cup teams last night and everything looks great. I did some work on Watson's V4.0 Option File that was released for PES 5 back in September 2006. So I have a decent idea of of how much works you guys must have put in to get your Option File looking this good.

New Update!

Ok guys, this is update 1.5.


In this is all MLS new transfers, with faces for all new players as accurate as possible.

Outside of MLS, we are reworking the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, and france and holland.

So far for the first 3 we have the main big transfers. For france we have some transfers done, but its still incomplete.

We will tie this up after the close of the transfer window.

We also added many new EPL jerseys, but its still incomplete or a work in progress. Pictures to come tomorrow.


For now, here is the SMALL update for users that have already the BIG update from last time. This just includes the new jerseys, and edit data.

Hey Bolivian, just wanted to thank you for the file.
Ive been a long time Fifa player but as a TFC supporter I've been disappointed with its representation of MLS league.
Having read all about PES 2011 and its ability to customize Im really looking forward to it. I thought I'd get a jump start by picking up PES 2010 today after seeing your file for it.

Hi, this may be a noob question, but i don't know much about how to make kit in the game and i depend on this great OF, i want to know if you can change the sponsor logo for licenced EPL team in the game because i realized Man U still has AIG on their shirt. Thanks.

As of the release of the last update, we hadn't gotten very far with updating the file for 10/11 or with the newly promoted sides. The next update will have correct players for the promoted EPL sides, plus Levante & RSociedad from La Liga, sometime after the window closes.

What it includes:

* Rosters updated for the start of the 2010/2011 season. Large majority of in-game transfers done. Many players have been created to fill out squads, as well.

* Kit numbers adjusted for all clubs in the EPL, Ligue 1, Serie A, La Liga, & the Eredivisie. Kit numbers adjusted for many teams in 'Other Leagues A', but not all (in general, the smaller clubs got less attention for the purposes of this update, especially the Scandinavian ones).

* Created all three EPL promoted sides -- Newcastle, West Brom, & Blackpool. Created two of the promoted La Liga sides -- Levante & Real Sociedad (Hercules excluded because of editing limitations).

* Updated all editable EPL kits for 2010/2011 season.

* MLS rosters updated following the September 15 roster freeze. Returned all loaned-out MLS players, as well.

With PES 2011 so close and people already immersed in the demo, this is probably the last update for this option file.
