Hello! Um... big announcement from me! I am going travelling around the world from about late June for a year or two!

I would like the help of PESInsight posters pls!

I will be going to the US (God help me!), Canada, Central America, S. America, NZ, OZ, SE Asia, India, Nepal, Tibet and maybe the Middle East!

I would like suggestions of cool places to visit, eat, drink anywhere in these areas pls. Also things to do or not do, any good hints and tips, etc.

The other thing is I would love to meet up with any posters out there (if we get on of course?!?!?!) who would like to have a drink, or grab some food or something. It would be cool to PES-play my way around the world too!

The final big ask is... if there is anyone who could put me up (or put up with me!) on my travels for any length of time that would be great.

If you are going to New Zealand and Australia you can't not stop to see a game of Rugby. What we are used to over here is nothing compared to these guys style. Try and see the Auckland Blues or the ACT Brumbies if you can.

if your going to south america make sure you visit rio de janiero. great place. it's also quite cool to pay a visit to one of the shanty town districts coz you get to see the "real" brazil. not just the posh areas that cater for tourists.

I've been to south/central America and I can give you loads of tips.
Also been to Africa - a shame u r not going there. amazing.
also been to Thailand.
and if u come to the middle east (easier for you with an English passport) u can definitely stay over at my place - I'm serious.
my first tip to you is that don't plan too much - don't think u r going on a 2 year trip because from my experience sometimes ur money runs out sooner than ud expect...and then u have to either stay somewhere and work or go back home in shame. I hope u got ur flying tickets sorted out, as it is a major part of the money issue.

Ok. substansive info (depends where u start / when will u b there) but these are guaranteed non-missouts, and if u miss them out then you are an asshole.

1. Brazil - definitely make sure you get there in February for the carnaval. can't afford to be there and miss it. favorite spots: Rio, Holinda, Arial de Ajuda, Moro de San Paolo.
2. depends where u go next - Bolivia is amazing, La Paz, Santa cruz de la Sierra (ahem...the world's no.1 coke town, yeah guys it's not Colombia).
3. Argentina - if u come from brazil, go to foz de iguacu, also don't miss out buenos aires - amazing looking chicas.
4. Colombia - article 2 mentioned above, plus amazing parties (try to get connected to Israelis, they control the party scene in Colombia. also if in Cartajena - go to Habait shel Yiftach (Yiftach's house) and say you know me (u'll have to email me to get my real name, and u have to promise not to post it! :D) also in Colombia Tyrona Park - the best beach in the world. And the biggest plus - the best looking women in the world, and they are VERY easy (it's where I made my very own porn mini-photo album. swear to god. just let them stay with you and share your drugs. they even clean up your room. :D)
5. Peru - Cusco is my favorite place in the world. amazing. don't miss the rafting and the Jungle.

C. America - Cuba is a bit expensive, might not want to go there - financialy. also been to Costa Rica. Amazing beaches, the people who go there are more touristy than in Colombia (similar climate/beaches) but it is safer. Also amazing women.

N. America - well, I lived in NY and I travelled around the US but I'm sure adams can be of a bigger help. if u still have questions don't hesitate - I can give u some pointers.

I still need to go to NZ n OZ n India - so I guess u'll give me pointers afterwards.

anyway -

colombia: arrived to Bogota. very cold and moutainy. got outta there and went to cartajena. amazing beach. get sorted for drugs easily. weed is a free giveaway with coke. this english geezer gave us about half a kg of weed when he left (we took his motel room). we - me and my mate. anyway, coke was about 5$ a gram when I was there (may 2000). high quality stuff, too. weed is mediocre, even less.
*note: in Peru try get hold of "ponto rojo" weed. very similar to super skunk.
so we hung around the beach for a couple of days, play volleyball, get to know the local chicas. shagged 2 of them in the first week. then I met a really sweet one that kinda moved in - ok, this is totally up to you (moral wise) - you are using them, in the full meaning of the term, as what they dream of (and there are a lot of cinderella stories in those areas of this guy from Europe/US who took the girl with him when he returned home) is that you will take them with you. I.E, the fact that they have a place to sleep, food to eat and they share your drugs doesn't meam that it's a fair deal from their side. Anyway, they will do ANYTHING, including taking their pictures in very hot positions. also a great opportunity for doubling up on a chic if travelling with a mate.
* note - also available to rent a big house (6 bedroom) quite fancy, some of them even have their own little beach strips, and I heard of one that was even equipped with a jetski, but it sounds like an exaggeration. anyway, you need 5 other guys to rent it with you and it's quite expensive (about 40$ each per month).
* note - even if u do find urself a sweetheart there, use a condom. too scary not to. (I used 2 with some of them that looked kinda suspicious).
* note - over doing coke is a big temptation. u don't want ur dad/brother having to fly over there to drag ur sorry ass outta some shithole. I repeat it's a BIG temptation, because it's very good stuff over there.
keep in mind - they come from very poor background, buying them a drink, a meal, treating them nicely is a very sure start to get laid. and most of them are outright gorgeous.

I'll probably remember more stuff in time and I'll b sure to post it up.

btw - I spent about 600$ per month while in s. america, 900$ a month in c. america.
but I really didn't try to save much, and I was a drug pig, so I guess u can do with a little less, but u don't really want to save when ur having the time of your life, that's my idea, at least.

I lived in NY with my folks when I was 16-18, so I couldn't tell u much about spending money there. I guess that NY and LA are probably just a little cheaper than london, but u have 2 ask adams. as far as c/s america are concerned, think between 600-700$ s. america and 800-900$ per month c. america, if u wanna have a good time and not to count every penny and live like a dog. I know guys who were like "ok, so I'll skip a meal here, sleep in this totally shitty place there" and only saved up a fraction. keep in mind, that a good place in arial de ajuda (brazil - u MUST go there! there are between 6-7 mega clubs there, and every week night one of them is open, and during the weekend - all are open!!!) would cost 10 real (5$?) per night, and an ok place will be around 8, a shitty one - maybe 6 or 5. just make ur own math. it also depends if u are travelling with a spoiled partner/girl or someone u have to consider.

Well 5000 dollars for 3 months in the US is gonna run you pretty tight. But it could work. As for the stay that sounds good. We'll have to work it out in more detail. Lucky for you that I live here coz SF is the most expensive place in the entire US. ;) Drinking here is expensive 6$ a beer at bars and stuff or 8$ a Mixed drink. Last night I spent 175$ on drinks. LA is gonna be cheap coz its so large you can always find cheap places to stay. I assume you will stay in hostels or so and there are plenty in every large city and cheap too. I have idea on new york I have some friends that are from there so I'll ask them and get back to you on that. But in SF if you are into food we have fantastic resturants all over the place. Some of them are very very expensive but there are plenty of good eaterys that are not too high priced. Plus we have a great nightlife here so it should be fun.. If you have any more questions just ask.

just keep in mind that there a simple calculation for you to do:
the more "3rd world" the place you go to - the better you can live with less money. with 600-700$ a month in Peru or Bolivia u can live like a prince. just a bit more for Brazil or Colombia. I think that it could last you about a week in the US, or 4 days in London....

I wouldn't recommend anywhere in Africa except if you are going on a Safari trip or maybe South Africa , more developed country. Nowhere in South America though , looks like great countries , great landscape but I don't feel it is such a social place , more dangerous than anywhere in the Western World.

Nahhhhhhhhh, don't listen to him. south america rocks. don't make any mistakes about it. I remembered one more thing - unless u r really looking into new experiences, don't try san pedro. on the other hand, it's a down right head trip. also try to brush up your spanish - they don't really speak anything else over there, english is useless unless u r in the big cities, which u don't really care about (aside from Rio. maybe lima.)
oh just remembered another thing-
in rio de janeiro there is a very nice night club called the "help". to cut a long story short, it's a brothel. and ultra top league hookers go there from all around s. america to get clients. imagine me and my mate going in there, dressed up like a couple of bums, having all those amazing women buying us drinks, touching our asses, everything. it's a guy's wet dream. anyway, I realized what was going on in 20 minutes or so (the concept was too much of a contradiction, so I had to check my premises) - [read: Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" to understand the a.m. concept]
anyway, I warned my mate and we got out. when I talked to other guys that we met later in Brazil, they all told us that they fell for it - taking that amazing chick back to your motel, and when u r naked with a ridiculous hard-on and the babe is in hear bra and knickers she suddenly says: "it's 150$. pay up front". I personally know 2 who paid. they said they just had to. can't really blame them though.
