Caught on video agreeing to throw frames in the world championships, to make matters even worst he agreed the fee as well and said the deal would be over a 4 year period.
This man is well and truly pwnd as far as ever playing snooker again. :boxing:

Pretty shocking stuff although he is a Celtic fan.

What a shame. Didn't seem the type. Will be interesting how it is treated as I'm unaware of anything like this occuring in snooker before.

It'll be massive. Or atleast it should be, it's not like were talking about someone reasonably well known. He's the current world number one, it's the equivalent of Tiger Woods, Lionel Messi, Phil Taylor or Sachin Tendulkaar admitting they were a big bunch of cheating feckers.
The story won't be quite as heavy as if it was one of them, because no ones gives a shit about snooker anymore.

This has to be the biggest scandal in the history of the sport. Unlike most cases and scandals this one leaves the villain without a leg to stand on. I truly am shocked with this one, just never seen it coming from some one like Higgins, and the nature of the video... :faceplm:
His fans must be distraught.

Coming out on the day of the World final. I can't see any way back for him after this, although I'd like to see it just to see the reaction.

Thinking of putting a bet on are we?
Oh dear. That's made him look a right bellend. :faceplm:
Thanks for the memories, John!
After this shocker has came out, I wonder if he's the only one in on it... :ninja:
Well, he's denied it all and claimed that when they were suggesting it to him, he feared it was "the Russian mafia" and wanted to go along with them and get out of the country ASAP.
I believe the guy, but then I don't know what problems he's been having off the table.

Haha, that old chestnut.
Change my 'believe' comment to 'believed' - After seeing the video, he looks 100% guilty. He doesn't look in distress/uncomfortable at all, and there were apparently more meetings.
I can't wait for part 2 next weekend. I hope World Snooker bans him for life.
I've heard Higgin's agent is also Graeme Dott's. I wonder if he's got something to do with it too :ninja:
I doubt it, but you can't rule it out.
