This isn't a straightforward question. Most hackers use Firefox and Opera because they consider them the safest. Personally, I'll never use Safari (well I'm not on a Mac so what's the point?) or Chrome because I've got Firefox set up with particular add-ons that make it very safe. I've used Opera before and never liked its behaviour.

I'm the same, just swap Opera and Firefox around. Though over the last year, I've started using Firefox for work related uses and continued to use Opera to browse in my free time.

Chrome is the fastest, proven time and time again, I own all browsers on my PC and Chrome pisses on all of them, closest is Opera afterwards!

You might find me pissing on you in a minute. We don't allow the shameless promotion of forums on here. Change the sig.

Fastest proven time and time again eh? On the basis of which websites?

I used to use Internet Explorer, but I use Chrome now. I really like it I must say, wouldn't know much about Opera. I've actually never heard of it :erm: but I know Firefox is good as well, as it is used on the computers in my college and one of my dads computers, with the other being a mac so it uses Safari. I've never liked Safari at all really. Something about Macs piss me off anyway, don't like using them at all. Maybe thats just me being adverse to change, I don't know.

When installing add-ons on chrome most of them say they they will accesses all your data on your websites and your browsing history, others say all you DATA ON YOUR COMPUTER and your browsing history.....

None of you worried about this?Does it not mean it can accesses facebook data and all?

What are your views on this chrome lovers?

Like I've always said, Chrome acts as spyware. No shock there.

I used Firefox, but lately, I've been using Opera. I had a brief stint on Chrome, but I really don't like it. For unknown reason, it automatically downloads files that ends as .php

I miss the ability to do a search on Firefox. What I meant is, if you type "imdb.com supernatural" on the address bar, it automatically directs you to the Supernatural page on IMDB.

Its very appealing wish it did not do that?

If add-ons just asked your net data you can assume to an extent that it needs it if you really love it,but when it says all data on your pc,thats the final straw...

Then maybe those who say only website access all or maybe chrome itself is a spyware...

Well i have found a perfect alternative,Sware iron its ditto to chrome except it does not act as a spyware, but its addons come from the same 3rd party applications so still a bit naggy there as they ask access to private data on your pc,but don will little snitch be able to prevent this(on the computer i am asking).
