I have had PES since 2001 when the very first one came out and have had every update since besides PES 6

Here are my suggestions:... See more

1) Have option to edit league and cup emblems (i.e. Make the ''English League'' look more like "Premier League' logo)

2) Better scanning of photo's when creating player faces - they don't quite fit at the moment and don't look right

3) Have the option to create 'rival' teams (i.e. Arsenal Tottenham) which changes the crowd and commentary when playing a game

4) New commentary (PLEASE!!)

5) Option to upload your own songs from mp3 player / CD's etc

6) Improve online functionality (no more glitches please!)

7) ''All star'' friendly matches to return please (i.e. hand pick best players from each league etc)

8) Better in game engine in important games (i.e. show live goal updates for other teams if that team was to, for example - be challenging you for the title and need a win on last day) Could also show table -as it stands at that moment

9) More injuries - players get injured all the time in real football but is far less so in Master League

10) Create stadiums? Now THAT would be awesome!

Rather than hefty things that are harder to create, I'd like me some simpler things that are easy to develop yet improves the whole experience, e.g.;

Weather report. What's the harm, why take it away?
A menu for choosing a goal celebration (esp. for BAL) in real-time, after the goal is scored. Like maybe press any of X, Y, A, or B immediately after the ball went in the net. That way a player can store 5 variations.
Extending from the above, the option to take off the shirt (and be booked, but come on sometimes it's worth it). This however would be harder to make, so maybe not.
Extending it again, make it possible to keep it cool and don't celebrate.
If we can dive, can't we exaggerate the injury? People would frown at this though.
More customization parts. No decent facial hairs from 2009 and 2010!
Those dinosaur costumes.
Double speed matches.
And come to think of it, bring the Shop back.
I'll save the best for the last: make it possible to simulate coin toss!

M1xster- 7) you used to be able to do iron PES 4 (I think) where you could choose European 11 vs Asia etc 11. But what about Premiership 11, Ligue 1 11, Italian League 11 etc??

Catalogue- 1) I could use a weather forcast, as when it is sunny I usually have better passing players on than when it is heavy rain as the ball flows quicker!

I've mentioned this already in a previous thread, but I want my ideas to be seen and also I added a few things:


Wasn't sure if I should create a new thread or post it here, so don't bury me, guys:D

I have a few ideas, but I do like the game as it is right now. it just needs a few adjustments, but I'm glad to see that it's on the right track. Here are my ideas (my favorite are in blue):

*I'd like to see these leagues in the game
-Include English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, French, & German (licensed or not)
- Include Rest of Europe (60-70 teams): CSKA Moscow, FC Porto, Celtic, etc.
-Include Rest of World (30-40 teams): River Plate, LA Galaxy, Corinthians, etc.
-Include Other League A (24 empty team slots): Changeable nationalities for players
-Include Other League B (20 empty team slots): Changeable nationalities for players

*You know how under each teams you can edit formation, team chant, name, etc. Well I would like to see a new option called Team Manager. The Team Manager option will allow the user to edit manager name, appearance, and dossier. The Dossier will include: Transfer preference (youth, middle-aged, or experienced), Two formation preferences (4-4-2 & 4-5-1, 4-2-3-1 & 3-5-2, etc), & Nationality preference (mixed, fixed, or a select three - France, Brazil, & Spain for example). How good a team is depends on what the team manager prefers. For example, if the team is playing a 4-2-3-1 formation and the team manager prefers a 4-4-2 & a 5-4-1 formation, then the team will severely struggle. If the team manager’s nationality preference is a select three (England, Scotland, & Ireland) and the team has five players of a different nationality, then the team will severely struggle. In other words, seven of the eleven players need to meet the Team Managers nationality & transfer preference.

*Also, I'd like to see a stadium option under each team as well, where you can edit the name, the capacity, the ticket price (for ML & BAL), the turf type (organic/natural), turf pattern, team flag, attendance seat & goal net color, a choice from 1,2,3, or 4 weather types, etc.

*I'd also like to see a new ability (in addition to free kick accuracy, jump, dribble speed, etc) for players and keepers called Intelligence. The scale for the Intelligence Parameter will be from 0-5. If 0 for a goalkeeper, keeper will pick up a back pass every time he’s under pressure. If 5, keeper will close players down, come out to claim corners/crosses, initiate counterattacks with long throws, etc If 0 for a player, player will make unnecessary fouls; injure other players, commit more penalties, etc. If 5, player will shield the ball in the corner for the last 5 minutes of a match if his team has a one goal lead. PES is focused on player individuality, by the way.

*For pre-game, I'd like to see a new feature called referee dosier. Referees are chosen by the user or at random before the game. Each referee has a disciplinary & visibility scale based on 0-5. If 0 on disciplinary scale, referee will call more fouls and give out more cards. If 0 on visibility scale, referee will make bad calls; such as bad judgements with ball crossing the line or not (goal line, throw-in line, corner line).

*Fix defense/tackling issue, fix the play-on option (not enough free kicks given), fix through ball passing, fix the chipped shot, fix the penalty system & amount of penalties given (too little), & impliment a dribbling system like FIFAs with the L2 and analogue stick

*Find a way to impliment handballs into the game that would not spoil gameplay too much.

*Theme music to play in the background at the start of each game. Like the Barclays theme for english games & the FIFA theme for International matches

*National Anthems for liscensed National teams

*Don't play online much, but I want to stress that if a player quits, it should count as a win to the other player (no ifs, ands, or buts)

*My edit ideas (some mentioned already):
-Approximately 100 logo slots (nike, puma, adidas, etc.)-Approximately 100 badge slots
-Approximately 400 kit slots
-Option for Neck-Warmers & Necklaces (select color)
-Option for Ear Tapes, Finger Tapes & Sock Tapes (select color)
-Option for Tattoos (select type, color, & location)
-Option for Keeper Gloves (select license & color)-Option for Gloves & Wristbands (select license & color)
-Option for Headbands (select license & color)
-Option for Face/Nose Protector & Goggles (select color)
-Option for Collar Type (select up or down)
-Option for Shirt Type (select tucked or un-tucked)
-Option for Sleeve, Shorts & Sock Length (select short, medium, or long)
-Option for Under-Armor & Undershorts (select license & color)
-Option for Boots (select license & color)
-Option for Pre-set Faces (ex: using Thierry Henry's face to represent my face)
-Lower case letters for player names (select first & last name, displayed name, & name on shirt)
-An option file can be used in all regions

For the love of God, please don't add those long trophies (i.e. complete a master league/ become a legend season) because I want to enjoy my Master league playthrough without skipping. I welcome hard trophies, but I detest the long ones:realmad:

Stadium Option
I think it should only be for Master League- or if I get one of my suggestions then it should also be in Become A Manager.

Referee Dosier
It would be great to know what referee would be controlling your match eg. leniency as you would know you could be more rough with tackles etc. I think another option should be something like, Big Team Rating, which could say how likely he is into giving the bigger teams more decisions.

Handballs
I think it is needed for reality, however not every single handball as that is unrealistic and I think if you are afew meters away and it is ball to hand then it should definately not be called as a handball.

Option For Boots
I think instead of having a hundred (ok slight exaggeration) boots to flick through as ths takes time. What about having for example have boot one, for a boot choice eg when you select Nike Vapors a list (like the one now) appears which you can choose.

Handball is a difficult one to implement, from the time PES entertained this it always seemed to work against you, hence it being quickly dropped.

Can't remember many games that used handballs tbh, certainly none where it was a success...

If stadium editor is announced it will be perfect.. If we can choose pitch turf/ nets type / nets colors / capacity / stand types (open - close ) etc.. It would be a perfect addition.. I'd glad to make stadiums of all teams ..
In press release no editing improvements announced yet.. It is something will be announced later imo. They will be added amid polisihng process of the game.. Right now they are about to complete the CORE...

Here are my ideas for PES 2011 that I have posted in my thread (same as Gunnar11) (in blue= my favourite, what do you think?)

In Master League you should be able to recall loaned out players.

Increased intensity, atmosphere and tackles/ more physical in derby matches.

Again, 3 kits per club, and be able to mix and match them, like home shirt, away shorts, 3rd socks. Like Manchester United.

Customable accesories eg. goalkeeper gloves, change colour etc.

Create- footballs, training kit and stadiums.

Become A Manager

Underarmor- lots of players wear it!

Have something (like League C) for National Teams.

Some goalkeepers were goalkeeping trousers eg Helton from Porto. But make them even more popular in winter periods, but not every keeper!

Indoor 5-a side training pitch.

Different tape lengths- eg.
one band (like tape already) eg. Rooney
average size eg. Torres
long eg. Adebayor

More animations eg.
walking out of the tunnel
manager handshakes, before and after match
at half time, see players talking to each other and congratulate players that score
after the game see players swaping shirts/ shaking hands

In Edit Mode it would be good if for a un registered team, you could use the kit design of another registered team, but remove the bade, sponsors etc. But you should be able to change the colour, names/ numbers etc. I noticed that some teams have the same design as Fulham so it would be good if you could select that kit as a template for Fulhams kit, they could do something like this:

Edit Mode == Teams == Edit Team == (Select Team) == Create from Scratch/ Get Design From Other Team == (Select Team) == Home or Away Kit (One you want) then you should be able to edit the colours, name, numbers etc.

Like in the old PES's you should be able to 'Create A Master League', know like when you could choose any players and at the end of the season you hoped you had a enough points, that type of ML.

BRING BACK CUP CELEBRATIONS, ITS NO POINT WINNING A TROPHY WITHOUT THEM!!!!

In ML, bring back pre-season friendlies!

To add on tape lengths: different colours of tape, like the wristband choices (maybe even more! )

Also, to add onto my animations from before, what about seeing the players warming up before the match, or if their is Become A Manager, then what about you get to talk to the players before the match, at half time and after the match in the changing room!

Be able to swap teams in ML if you are offered. In my Athletico Madrid ML,Rangers have signed Marcelo, Crouch, Pavlychenko (sp) and some other big name, I wish I could manage them

+ Can't save face presets like before. Why?
+ Can't use another player's stats as a base when creating players. Why?
+ Can't see other team's lineup in Game Plan. Why? I just want to see the names because Jon pronounced some funny name.

1- The commentary in the game sucks big time, It's time they changed it with a new and spirited one.
2- Please add Bundesliga and license all leagues and teams.
3- in League mode, it would be awesome to play a free and open league to add whatever teams you like (mixing teams from different leagues to make the league the hardest) now I know I can do this with the Master League mode, but the thing is that in the Master League you can't control all teams to place wherever you want.
4- Lots of balls and boots.
5- What happened to the all goals record in the master league !!?
6- Please add an option to play the game on LAN.

I have seen couple of good here.

1) Handballs (whatever they are) should be fixed. It would be very nice to see they players put their hands behind their back, cause they don't want to cause a penalty.
2) Referees, If CPU can rape my players, why can't I rape em? Very disapointing.
3) Goalies, They can't catch any balls, which is not very realistic.
4) Through pass doesn't seem to work, and the attackers always stop to the defense line, so it's impossible to pass.
5) Would be nice if the game would be like a tv programme, You could see the League table, Other matches which are going to be played, Starting 11 + subs, Warm ups, FLIP A COIN, home team doesn't always start the game. When going to half time players should talk. Also when making, or letting the others make a goal, the camera could go to manager. And after game players should swap shirts.
6) Those stadium updates i read minutes ago we're good.

Maybe the buttons could be for the type of celebration rather than the actual celebration as it would be a bit hard to remember which button did which, if ML is the game you're playing.

Maybe Y for an aggressive celebration, say for a local derby, X for a team huddle style celebration, B could perform a players signature celebration and maybe A could be a bookable celebration like removal of the shirt or jumping into the crowd.

1) That would be nice, maybe we can actually have the PL logo for once on PS3 :)

2) I guess it depends on the image you use and all that stuff... In my opinion I don't think they will change it. But still, we can hope :lol:

More boots in the edit mode to be present from the beginning of the game. (not to be included in several dlc's)

ML:

If some of the managers (at least the best 10 in the world) actually looked like themselves on the sideline.

More realism in the transfer frequency and development in master league. For instance C. Ronaldo doesn't suddenly play for Barca and Messi for Real Madrid.

A chance to make a player happy again (offer him a raise etc.), even if he's very keen on a move away from your club.

BAL:

Much slower player development. From pes 09 to 10 bal mode got waaay to easy unfortunately.

Generel:

Much better AI - and NO ASSISTED TACKLES, PASSES OR SHOOTING, NO MATTER IF IT HELPS ME OR NOT IN THE GIVEN SUTUATION.

Include ALL summer transfers from the beginning of the game. And loan transfers as well - like in manager, just make the players change back to their owner automatically when time comes. (only from the beginning of the game of course)

New or better commentary. Someone that doesn't say "he decides to kick the ball out for a corner" when the ball is evidently hammered against him and touches him leaving him with no choice at all.

Total change in refereeing strichtness. The refs have always sucked bigtime unfortunately.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but I would like Konami to allow the user to play international friendlies in the Master League. Also, they should impliment the world cup and continental qualifiers/tournaments into the ML. They should give us the option to play or skip the international games.

Maybe this is a bit far-fetched for PES2011, but I'd love to see this for PES2012.

I always had pes ....

I like pes for the gameplay but i'm not happy with the pes 2009/2010.

in pes 2011 my ideas :

1. The goalkeepers: they're a big fail in the game. They look like they have never kbeen in the goal ever :s.

2. More boots in the game/balls : More boots from all different brands. (ex: vapor,vapor superfly I , superfly II --> in different colours not just 1 colour). More ballz and maybe every ball in an other colour then white? And more boots then 24with (8 standard) --> More boots and all the previeus boots have to be in the game 2. I would like to see a pes 2011 with 80 boots or something like that, and 50 ball types.

3. teams : More international teams (+ real kits). More stadiums of the teams.
More reall club teams and staduims...

4. Kits editor: Maybe you could put in a kit editor when you can make your own kits (with sponsors) but with a reall brand. EX : an adidas kit but you can choose the colours/ the logo's. And maybe you can make your own style of number ?

5. More real looking tricks: If you do a trick on pes 2010 it really doesn't look real....

6. Crowd: More realistic crowds, more chants, before the match maybe some smoke flairs or something. More real looking banners. (in pes 2010 there's a banner with " who ate all the pies"? what does that have the do with football ? I mean c'mon in the stadiums people make real banner's with real stuff on.

7. goal nets: Some league's have a different style of net apply this in the game that would be so nice ...

8. More options in edit mode (for the players)....

9. training: An even better training mode, maybe on an artifficial pitch that sounds so nice. And maybe a pitch in the game for all teams .....

10. Become a legand: Like after the match you sit in the conference room, and they ask you questions where you got 3/4/5 canswers to choose from and they affect your carreer.
More stamina--> when i'm at the 65th minute my player's stamina is almost in the red that should't be..

11.Freekicks: I'ts not that I dont like the freekick system but I think it can be allot better..

12. Goalkeepers : Again? I would really appreciate it if the goalkeepers would actually wear REAL gloves with real brand (uhlsport,nike,adidas) then the goalkeepers look more real then ever.

13. gameplay: Faster gameplay, faster player dribbles(more dribbles). In pes 2009 you can switch direction really fast it makes it fun and reall when you change direction as the player tries to tackle you and you run to the other side giving him a big burn..

14. When the pitch is wet (from the rain)the slides should be faster/longer instead of on a dry pitch. And when its wet the players should slip out somethimes as it happens in real and you want to make a real football game.

15. Goal celebrations: When you choose a celebration and your players score he celebrates (alone) this should be fixed when your player for example makes a carthwheel when he's finished his teammates should still run to him and celebrate the goal with the goalscorer.

16. For the pc there are patches for new boots/balls/nets/goals/addboards/corner flags.... I would like it that they make it possible for the PS3 that would be so F*cking nice :).

So these where my ideas for pes 2011 I hope to see some in the game when I buy it :)

Regarding handball:

At current when you are in possession of the ball you press three shoulder buttons to perform a dive, well why not have it so that when you're not in possession, if you press the three shoulder buttons at the right time your player will perform a handball. I.E when a player takes a shot from close range, your player could take one for the team and 'save it', but would get sent off.

Also, as we're talking about the dirty side of football, why not have the option of holding the three shoulder buttons aswell as the slide tackle button to perform a two footed tackle, with the risk of a sending off, but the likely-hood of an injury being caused high. This could be used by less skilled teams such as Stoke/Blackburn etc to nullify the threat from players like Fabregas, Torres, Rooney etc. These teams target particular players with physical play in real life, so why not in PES?

Also, sometimes you are put under pressure in the box by a defender and there is contact, but not enough for your player to go down, why not have the dive button as a - 'go down easily' button. Here you don't have the threat of getting a yellow card (unless the ref is very harsh) but your player will only go down if under pressure.

It's all completely rubbish and no real football fan likes to see it, but it's a part of football now, so PES needs to adapt.

Everything you guys are saying is awesome and need to be done on PES2011. But, the diffculty level is so easy that I lost any interest since it was imposible to be a challenge game. We need the 6 stars difficulty back. From that point forward everything will be nice to add. I only play online and on PS3 is a lot slower than 360 and its almost impossible to play a decent match. That for me is the key point in order to make PES2011 a great game, everything else is pointless for me without that.

i can remember a fifa game from the ps1 where u could punch the opposition and it made the victim go off injured and u got a red card it was brilliant. not that im condoning violence but u often see the odd elbow or headbutRegarding handball:

At current when you are in possession of the ball you press three shoulder buttons to perform a dive, well why not have it so that when you're not in possession, if you press the three shoulder buttons at the right time your player will perform a handball. I.E when a player takes a shot from close range, your player could take one for the team and 'save it', but would get sent off.

Also, as we're talking about the dirty side of football, why not have the option of holding the three shoulder buttons aswell as the slide tackle button to perform a two footed tackle, with the risk of a sending off, but the likely-hood of an injury being caused high. This could be used by less skilled teams such as Stoke/Blackburn etc to nullify the threat from players like Fabregas, Torres, Rooney etc. These teams target particular players with physical play in real life, so why not in PES?

Also, sometimes you are put under pressure in the box by a defender and there is contact, but not enough for your player to go down, why not have the dive button as a - 'go down easily' button. Here you don't have the threat of getting a yellow card (unless the ref is very harsh) but your player will only go down if under pressure.

It's all completely rubbish and no real football fan likes to see it, but it's a part of football now, so PES needs to adapt.

They’re clearly just shrivelled up old fanboys. Unless they log on to pesgaming and see my posts detailing the PRC and put it in their games and make me part owner of the company, then they wont be making much money, and what we’ll be left with is a game stuck in the past with rehashed concept still the same at its core

If konami can show the players going into the changing room to clean their boots, we can see the water washing the dirt, mud and grass off their accessories. This will give more freedom of choice and satisfy all parties. Think of it like a dress rehearsal, the player has to decide which boots he chooses to wear for the next match.

Konami can also make players have certain superstitions before going into the game. For example someone like Torres will not put on his shorts until every other member of the team have put theirs on first. Or David Beckham can have to look in the mirror going back and forth 15 times before feeling satisfied that he looks ok for the match. Or you can select for a player to choose to put salt down his pants and on to the pitch as a lucky charm. This can add to certain OCD aspect to some of the players attributes and each individual player would stand out even more and add a new dimension to the reality of the game. This can happen in the dressing room before they go out in the match and at half time when they’re EXTRA nervous. They can even show some players biting their nails and shaking at the interval. I was thinking of player bust ups where if you tap x while standing up in the dressing room, you can have the player stare his teammate out because he feels he hasn’t played well

There can be player car mode where you race against other teammates by selecting L1 and R2, and there should be shop mode to kit up your car, change the rims, spray, soup up the engine everything which you use the master league money with.

This will offer us users more flexibility as the player were using has to make life changing decisions under the influence and should effect his BAL or ML career as the police may have get involved and put a ankle tag on the player if found to be guilty of drink driving .

I am quite amazed by most of the fairly trivial things people would like to see in future games. While fancy graphics and new boots don't hurt anything, Konami really need to fix the gameplay.

-Speed of players is far too high in normal circumstances. Sprinting seems to be about right but players just move too fast when not sprinting. I downloaded the Fifa WC demo and the normal movement speed and runs off the ball are so much closer to real life.

-Create new stats to more accurately depict players. Mentality needs to be divided into two stats so that a player can be a leader without chasing all over the pitch to get the ball. Maybe some sort of confidence meter. I would also like to see a stat for how well a player is able to carry out his coaches orders.

-Computer controlled teams should be able to play a wider variety of formations based on the circumstances. Home, away, park the bus. The game could also give the coaches stats to determine how well they deal with picking formations based on the opposition. Obviously, Mourinho is a far better tactician than McCarthy.

-As I am watching the World Cup, it is amazing how less skilled countries are able to frequently hold their own against skillful opposition through well thought out tactics and tactics. Let's see more of that as it seems like the best players always win in game.

-I haven't mentioned the goalies or refs. I have played 10 full seasons on Master League and have never been awarded a PK. Nonsense.

I hope Amatuer gets the point. Going on and on about concepts that are preconceived in the confines of ones mind and has nothing to do with the next installment of the game, should not be discussed in such detail.

Regards to stamina.

It would be great to have an option to use up more stamina, such as pace when attacking or defending.

This would be like a special move (rather than the standard sprint) which would be used at crutial times (if the L1-R1 buttons are double tapped) making the player put that little bit more effort in, such as running past players or tracking back to throw ur player into an important tackle. Then you can continue using the sprint button with the help of the double tap.

But doing this at the wrong times, such as too early in the game (reducing the stamina levels too early) or if a player has taken a knock could cause him to miss a game or 2.

When the special move is used this would set the crowd screaming!

The overall affect of this strategy would be to help the team at important times but all in all liven the game up and increase the affect on stamina in game. A much more realistic approach to gameplay.

Your taking everything way to seriously, wenb is a forum, if you dont like it dont keep going back. Your only getting yourself worked up as obviously it still hurts that you got banned there for whatever reason and keep it as a badge of honour. I wouldnt be suprised if you got a dart board in your room with Adams face on it. I think you should go and get assesed because this has become an obsession.

The only problem with you I had is that everytime somone tells you reasonably that your ideas dont work you resort to calling them a fanboy or ignorant. I take that as insulting because fanboys are noted for a very emotional attachment to their chosen subject - someone who rants and raves about PES regardless of the games shortcomings , often taking negative remarks about it as a personal attack. Now I'm very critical of the game and want it to improve just as much as yourself, but pushing unrealistic ideas is not the way forward.

You are in the minority with getting your 20minute concept so just accept the fact konami will not spend any time making a game just to cater for you and try and put some different imput into how we can improve the 10 min sim for future instalments. I think if they even looked at your idea they'd laugh after the first paragraph then throw it in the bin. I think your ideas regarding more realistic off the movement and positioning is good, stick to that because I think thats important and you explain it welll but then ruin it will this idea that the game needs to be longer in order to do this. Glad your finally coming round to the idea that is not neccesary.

And yes sometimes it is a endless repetitive rant, thats why i said your ideas need to be more condensed to make it easier on the eye.

I would like to see in PES2011 a more coherent development of attributes of the players. Often, a player moves any other one season to another, while good evolve further. It is staggering. Ideally, the evolution of statistical performance, something that does not happen incredibly evolution of the system of PES players. If the player makes a lot of goals, although he attributes the weak, it improves your attributes a striker. As if the player hits several passes, makes many tackles, the goalkeeper takes a few goals. Good players should not move much, but the weak, must evolve with more consistency.

Change teams in Master League, more stadiums and stadium editor, better edit mode, Bundesliga and second divisions (both even if unlicensed), licensed team editor, more editing slots for emblems and templates, and a crowd, rivalry, flag and banner editor...

Since the start of the World Cup i realised that it would be good if international matches in Pes had the national anthems in the build up.

Now i haven't played it for a while so forgive me if it actually does but if not, i think this would prevent people, me for one, from skipping the intro. Especially if it was England versus you know who.

Maybe it's just me but in the master league i would like the option to change players boots, that way iwouldn't need to quit ML and go to edit to do it, plus you would have the option to give your youth players the desired boots. Having all my players running around in the stock black boots annoys me. lol

Oh yeah, youth players relevent to the country of your team i.e an english clubs youth players being mostly english, spanish mostly spanish etc.

After playing PES 2010 here are my suggestions.
PES 2010 would have been better if there was a First touch button which would make control more fluid and realistic especially in tight areas like for strikers.
Coin toss before a match would be good aswell.
More team slots and ability to edit league logos,and also have the correct competition logo on players sleeve.
Make/keep the International Cup mode and have the entrance scene's with the flags and fair play banners.

Probably has been said, but do you know what really grinds my gears: the fact that Player F or Player C can be used in Master League after moving them to free agent.

I would hope that Konami does not ignore this and forget to fix it.
